We started looking for property in the Prescott area a year ago but got serious in February of this year. We choose Cindi LaSalle-Shanks because of the great reviews on Angie's List. Cindi is a real gem! Because we weren't sure if we wanted to purchase property to build on or an existing home we had a long list of possibilities. She met us early on day 1 and divided our list into quadrants. Then we set off on 2 all-day adventures. She served as travel guide along the route and willingly took her jeep on roads (I use that term loosely) that had us all laughing. We ended up making an offer on (you guessed it) the very first place we looked at! From that point, Cindi led us step by step through the purchase. Our escrow closed on May 16th! We couldn't be happier with Cindi's professionalism and personal service as our realtor! Her years of experience really shows. We were vacationing in the area, coming from Washington State. We contacted Cindi after seeing a property listed for sale. From that point forward, she provided all of the information and services that took us to closing and beyond. Because we were not living here at that time, everything was done long-distance. After we left Arizona, we asked for additional pictures. Cindi took a lot of them (!) for us. She is an accomplished photographer and we were able to see the house again from every angle, inside and out. Cindi knew everyone locally. She was able to help us by providing recommendations for an appraiser and an insurance agent, for example. When we needed more information about the condition of the roof, she recommended a good roofing company that did a thorough inspection and gave a detailed estimate of replacement cost. Cindi asked if we wanted to work with a local financing institution and we said no. Big mistake on our part! We all had to jump through a lot of hoops - requests from our lending bank's officer. At one point, Cindi herself put a fuse box cover on because the bank required it and she wasn't going to make us hire someone just to do that. She was far more patient than I think I could have been. She negotiated with the sellers on our behalf, served our interests well, and did so with integrity. After we finished the purchase, Cindi periodically checked in to see if everything was working out well. A great experience, great agent!
