Beware. Do not do business with this company. Jon the owner is extremely unprofessional. I had to have them come back and re-stain a part of the deck and it took a lot of work to get them back out. Also they got stain all over my windows and it took 2 months to get it off. I had a four year warranty for the work and I worked all summer to get him to come out and put another coat onto my home that looked faded, but he informed me in October the warranty only covered cracked or peeled stain and not faded stain. Stain doesn't crack or peal. By this point I am so fed up with this company and would warn everyone to stay away because Jon does not stick by his warranty. If only I had joined Angie's List earlier I would have seen the negative reviews on this man and stayed away

See message above. Out of 3 painters he is the only one who responded quickly and professionally, Century Painting did not call me back.

They are super friendly. I don't mind them being in my house to do the work. They are likeable people and personable. If you call and say you have a few spots they will come right out and fix them. No painter is perfect, there will always be little spots. They are a little less expensive then others. They are easy to work with.

While the work was in progress I wrote notes daily on what was NOT done. I had to buy the new cedar siding out of pocket as he purchased the wrong boards. They painted while it was raining. I moved out in July 2009 and is now a rental property, had I still been living there, I would have noticed the peeling paint. This summer noticed the paint was falling off! I contacted Mr. Enequist to meet me at the property. The first appt. we made he was late, I couldn't wait any longer, When he did show, my tennants said he questioned " who painted this house because there wasn't any primer applied!" I contacted him again to meet at the property to get an estimate in writing, he asked me "Who painted that house?" I replied "you did, John!" We did meet the following day and his story changed. He pointed to a board with the white caulk oozing out and said this board is rotten!" I said, "John, that's the board you replaced, how could it be rotten?" How can we resolve this problem?" He replied " I'm not touching this and good luck getting an inspector out here!" He left.What the public doesn't know is the statute of limitations is ONLY 2 YEARS.The dollar amount has now doubled per new estimates with reputable paint contractors to remove all the acrylic paint, scrape and sand wood prior to applying new stain!
