Removed heavy 1950's cast iron tub, removed the ugly cultured marble counter, pulled up my plastic laminate floors, shrunk a wall (to add space to the toilet area), re-textured my walls.
GBA did a lovely job of making me a walk-in shower, with sunflower rain head shower, added a handicap seat, subway
tile around the shower and 1 wall. Laid penny tiles on floor.....(Perfectly straight)
Gary went with me to a Bone Yard, so we could find a piece of Marble that would fit my dresser, that was going to be my new sink counter. Added faucets that came out of the wall, and surrounded them with crushed marble tile squares. Hung my 1930's ceiling lamp, hung a chandler, and re-wired 1935 sconces I had found on E-bay!!
He built me an "vintage" cabinet to house my personals in my new Cottage Bathroom, and it is Wonderful!!!
Basically, Gary & Ernie gave me the bathroom of my dreams, spruced up my back service porch and made my 1/2 bath, finally useable!!
Would I hire GBA again??????? Hmmmmm........
I'm having them back after summer (and my visiting guests leave) to re-do my entire 1935 Kitchen, paint the outside of the Cottage, and lay roofing on my back garage!!!
