Delta Plus

Horrible. The job took a full month while we had to live on a mattress in the spare room out of a suitcase. His word is meaningless. He never worked more than 4 hours a day at the most and we never knew when he would be here. His machines (which kept breaking down) damaged our newly painted walls and destroyed the baseboards. He agreed to pay to have the damages fixed, then refused to pay the painters. (I ended up eating most of the cost myself.) His finish work is very mediocre - he didn't ever fill in the gaps which were 80% of the reason he was hired. I don't know if he needed to sand more and/or use a different product to fill between. And altogether, the finish is soft and not at all durable, even the area that have now been finished for three or more weeks. And the edges and corners are not finished at all well. I wouldn't have done it for even half the price if I had known how it would turn out - let alone having Charlie take a month from my life. The photo shows an area he is supposed to come back to refinish, but also gives an idea of how well he finished the spaces between the boards.

We were very satisfied with the timeliness, professionalism, honesty and quality of the work done. He wasn't satisfied with the final coat of polyurethane, so he applied a fourth coat at no extra charge. We love the new hardwood floor. We would highly recommend Delta Plus to anyone wanting a quality wood floor.

He did an excellent job. He was very timely and courteous. He paid attention to detail and put extra finish on the floors so it would last longer. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

We purchased this 1964 ranch house and it had hardwood floors almost throughout, but the floors were worn badly in places and the finish was an unpleasant color. Though we knew it would be expensive, we bought the house knowing that we would have to refinish the floors. After talking with a number of service providers, we got Mr. Benghauser to come to the house and work up some quotes for us. We needed someone who could come in right away and do the work quickly so we could move into the house. Mr. Benghauser spent time with us learning our preferences on stains and finishes, and then made up some custom samples based on our preferences so we could pick a color and finish we liked. We decided to use a non-standard finishing oil and have not regretted it. Once we closed escrow, Mr. Benghauser went straight to work and in four days had the place looking brand new. The work was well worth the money as it looks like we have an entirely new floor. Even the cable guy commented on how nice they looked when he stopped by to install the internet.
