Couldn't ask for a better job.

Very happy with the look

The owner was responsive in giving a bid. Their price was fair and the workers did a good job. They spent a lot of time in the beginning on the details but towards the end, it was as if the owner was trying to rush it off of my project unto the next one. That was the only complaint I had.

David, the estimator was on time always. The crew, Craig and Eric, were likewise on time, hard-working and thorough in surface prep and painting and site cleanup. Their flexibility with our busy lives was a big plus!

From the moment we contacted Century Painting they were responsive, professional and completely committed to our satisfaction. Their attention to detail and covering every aspect of the job at hand was a breath of fresh air in these times of hurry, hurry, collect the money and leave. Ask that the crew of Chris and Steve provide the work if possible. They are great to work with. We highly recommend Century Painting to anyone looking for a quality paint job.

The job went remarkably well. I met with the owner, David Berry, early summer for an estimate. Before he left our home the day of our appointment, he presented me with precise numbers including items that my husband and I might want to include such as ceilings, doors, closets. David priced those out separately to be added if we wished if/when we signed a contract. Along with the estimate, he provided page after page of information about his company; licenses, references, insurance, etc. Very professional. I told David at the onset that we couldn't set a date yet because other remodeling had to be completed before the painting. I called him every few weeks to move out an arbitrary date we had set. He was always most accommodating. I was tense having strangers all over my house for a few days, but after talking with the team leader and watching the precision and care (of our belongings)by every one of the painters, my stress was quickly allayed. Four different colors were used in the house. I appreciated that I was consulted whenever there was the least doubt about anything whether it was to confirm a wall was a specific color or where I wanted the seam to appear on a rounded edge of a wall. If I was perplexed over a certain issue, options were offered and explained. The crew worked well with one another. They showed up early a.m. and worked steadily throughout the day, cleaning up before they left each evening. Trustworthy, dependable, careful, professional. David guarantees the customer is satisfied. We are very satisfied

I am so glad I joined Angies list. The one prior poor review was right on. I too called both numbers. The first number was no answer. And no answer machine. The 2nd number was to the owners cell number which I left a message. No reply from him. I then sent an email thru Angies list and was advised someone would call me in the am. There website says, "live help". Well that is not true. I did receive a phone call from his office (female) and she said it was impossible for them to have missed a call. But did say if she was on another call, there is no back up answering service. My suggestion was that perhaps they get one. They did go out to our home and get back with us in a timely fashion for a bid. The bid was $1,000.00 higher than the first bid we got. Based on this experience I will be using the first Company we got the bid from.

I called both office and cell phone with no answer. I left messages on both and did not receive a return call.

Dave was punctual for initial meeting and bid. He worked with our schedules for dates of service. He was knowledgeable about weather conditions in Arizona and appropriate paint to use; accepted several changes we made to original plan with good humor. The men who worked with him were polite, efficient, punctual, capable and friendly.

Newly purchased house walls and ceilings were all one color. Century sent painter Isaac to paint ceilings white. Isaac did an excellent job and was a pleasure to have in our house. He is a professional painter and a true gentleman. White ceilings look great. Century also painted an additional wall that had major repair at no additional cost. Dave Berry (Century owner) was very helpful in getting the right white color for the ceilings.

The estimator was very honest. The painting crew was a little slow to start because of a truck breakdown. But once they got going, they caught up with the schedule. They were responsive to my concerns and answered all my questions. They cleaned up at the end of each day and set all furniture, shades etc back in place at the end of the job. Polite and friendly but professional.

Dave was on time for the estimate & was always available to answer our questions. Anibal & Fabian the painters were always on time and went out of their way to do an excellent job.

They arrived as a three man crew rather than a two man crew so they were able to complete the entire job in one day rather then the two days planned. The crew was courteous and ensured everything was covered prior to painting and made sure everything was picked up when they finished. The best part was they worked with my gutter installer and set it up so the old gutters would be removed prior to the fascia boards being scraped, sealed and painted. This way they were able to completely seal the wood. Century Painting used a very high quality exterior paint and applied it very well. I have two additional quotes from them for additional exterior projects and look forward to having them back to finish off my painting projects. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

SUPER job! They employ experienced workers who have been with the company for years (one of them for eleven years). They worked with me to meet my schedule and finished on time, on budget and no problems.

David and his crew were very professional. I was on a tight timeline from closing to move in and they were able to work within my schedule and meet a tight timeline to paint the entire inside of my home within a few short days. They showed up on time, were professional, cleaned up after each day and delivered a nice looking finished product. I was very plesed with their service. Being new to the area I had no idea who to use and found them on Angie's list and glad we did.

It was an excellent experience. Everyone was very professional! The end result is terrific.

Poorly. The painting appeared good at first, but began peeling off within six months. The preparatory work was woefully inadequate. Many areas had gapw of 2-6 inches at ground leve.. I would not use this company again.

They did a high quality paint job on my house which is the most important thing. Some minor problems: paint on my flagstone which they promptly cleaned up after I pointed it out to them, tape left around one window and doorknob, a small area missed (the end of a beam that juts out of the front of my porch), forgot to push gravel back up against house and posts. These are all minor things and I'm very happy with the way my house looks. They did move all the furniture and paraphernalia away from the house which I probably should have done beforehand. Overall, I am happy with the work and I would definitely use them again.

Great. Did a nice, neat, professional job, and he was on time. Nice guy to deal with too.

They were prompt in starting the job, gave me the best estimate, completed the work in good time. The quality of work was excellent, the crew was responsible and responsive, and the final bill was as expected.

This is the third time I use the services of Century Painting. All three times, they have been very professional.
