Busy Bee Cleaning

I had a very good feeling and impression of Victoria at the beginning of this job. She is very personable and responsive. We needed someone to clean our second home in Prescott on an as needed basis. The house had not been cleaned for several months, so was dusty and the kitchen and bathrooms needed a deep clean. The was all discussed ahead of time. The oven had baked on angel food cake that had overflowed. The oven IS self cleaning. So my expectations of what is involved in a deep clean and what actually occurred was completely different. The bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned, but the baseboards, back splashes, lighting fixtures, walls around the toilets were completely IGNORED. When we returned to our home and saw the second rate job that was done, I called the owner. She stated that her cleaner had concentrated the majority of her time cleaning our oven by hand. I mentioned that the oven was self cleaning and she stated this would not have been good enough. Since that time multiple food has overflowed in the oven and each time the self-cleaning feature worked just fine without chemicals. In fact, the first time used the oven after 'the cleaning', the inside of the oven still had a film of very stinking oven cleaner in it. So, I had to clean the oven myself before being able to use it.

I gave Busy Bees an F for promptness...because of their need to reschedule the job several times. Often there is a shortage of cleaners, which cancels the job and changes their arrival day. They do arrive on time when they come, but I have had to rework my appointments to accommodate them. Their apologies seem sincere, but I no longer use their services. The company has run ads for cleaners in the local paper, but often sends a and quot;first dayand quot; employee that needs instruction and has little or no experience. In other words, this is a small company that is having growing pains. In all other areas, the cleaning was completed (grade: C) but did not have the and quot;just cleaned scent and sparkleand quot; (grade: A) that I expected. Nice people, but I was disappointed in the work.

After discussing service with owner, confirmation of appointment was delayed until the day before expected arrival. Cleaning service was generally superficial. Provider show no initiative. Responded well when specifics were requested but no more.

Be clear in what you want, express your concerns/needs clearly and you will be happy.

They are employed with me as of now. The price depends on how long it takes her and how dirty the house is. I got this group from Angie's List and I'm happy with the lady who cleans my house. In the beginning somebody from the administration was a little chaotic and it was not so great but the initial housecleaning has always been good. They are honest and so everything clerical has gotten cleared out with them. Michelle comes every two weeks. They are very reasonable.

The home cleaning services provided included and were not limited to the following: Washing and disinfecting of all hard surfaces in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room, mopping and disinfecting of laminate flooring, washing and disinfecting of baseboards and door-frames, vacuuming carpeting, washing interior windows, cleaning vaulted ceilings and light fixtures, dusting and polishing furniture, cabinetry and blinds. Pictures and knickknacks were dusted as well. The cleaning team of two persons was very professional and courteous. Considering the fact that this house had not been professionally cleaned by the previous owner nor ourselves, there was a significant amount of dirt and dust. I would recommend this company to others. In fact, we have already recommended "Busy Bee" to our realtor.
