+ 0 morer.For some weeks, our kitchen sink had not been draining properly: during dishwashing, the smaller connected sink with a garbage disposal would start to drain very slowly. Running it sometimes caused the drain contents to back up into the sink. I called Briggs around 9 a.m. He showed up a couple of hours later. He took apart the piping under the sink, cleaned out a hefty clog, and ran a snake into the pipes to make sure everything was clear. Briggs was very friendly and professional, taking care of the problem in a very straightforward manner.
Description of Work: He cleared out the clogged kitchen sink drain.

+ 0 moreWe had two of our rental properties need rooter work in less than 3 weeks. I was introduced to Briggs by another area plumbing company I use that was not set up to do rooter service. On both occasions they came out the same day I called them, identified the problem right away, and had everything fixed within 30-45 minutes. Between the 2 houses, I had to have one rooted from the outside clean out, and the other home required 70 feet of rodding, and for ALL of that work, I paid less than $200! They are not only courteous and prompt, but very professional and EXTREMELY reasonable.

+ 0 moreBesides this instance, I have used Briggs (his first name!) several times before. He was highly recommended by a neighbor and it was good advice. Briggs was prompt, pleasant and polite, what we used to call a "gentleman." I trust his service and his price; can't get better than that!
Description of Work: When my washing machine emptied after the rinse cycle, my toilet overflowed. The only good thing about this disaster was it smelled like fabric softener! Briggs showed up and saved the day! He was at my house in less than 3 hours. He first tried to snake the drain from inside but that didn't work so he moved outside, got the "big-guns" snake and solved the problem.

Never have I felt that he was trying to sell me something I did not need nor tack on an additional service that was not needed. We have called him numerous times almost at the close of the business day with an emergency and he always does his best to get to the job that same day.
Description of Work: We have used Briggs for many years for our 10 rental properties in Prescott. He has done everything from fixing leaks, changing out toilets, water heater issues, unclogging toilets, replacing faucets, you name it!

+ -1 moreOur sewer outlet line blocked and backed up into the tub and shower on a Saturday night. On Sunday, I called a few plumbers and they all said to wait until Monday as the overtime was very costly. Monday we had RED come out and they tried to snake the line but their snake was too short to resolve the problem. I called Briggs about 11:30AM and he was out about 2:00Pm and immediately got to work. He has a 200 foot snake and was able to unblock the line. Very professional and reasonable. Plus he responded quickly which was great since we had been in a bind since Saturday night. Would use them again.
Description of Work: We had total blockage in the house sewer line. Mr. Briggs came out and used snake to unblock line.

+ -1 moreBriggs was on the job within a half hour of my calling him. He was his usual businesslike self. Took an hour to unclog the drain due to tree roots being the problem. He made out an invoice at end of the job and I gave him a check then. Very happy with his service, knowledge, experience, and polite manner. Very highly recommended!
Description of Work: Called Briggs to unclog a washing machine drain in laundry room of a fourplex. He came out within a half hour. He had to run a snake through the drain in the laundry room twice but line was still clogged. He then took his bigger and more powerful snake up onto the roof and snaked out the line through the roof vent. No only is the laundry room drain running fine, but an adjacent apartment that had been having some drain problems cleared up as well. We did use a DIY snake first - no luck. The problem turned out to be tree roots which requires a much bigger and more powerful piece of equipment. We have used Briggs before at this fourplex and also at our home. He is always businesslike, prompt, neat, and polite. The bill was higher than usual because he had to snake the line several times from two different locations. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreThe owner was who showed up to clear the drain. He showed up within the timeframe agreed to and had the drain clear within 15 minutes or so. Cleaned up after himself. Drain has worked flawlessly ever since. Nice man, good job!
Description of Work: We had a very slow-draining master bathroom bathtub and had tried numerous OTC drain cleaners (Liquid Plumber, et al) with little relief. It had been that way from the time we moved into our house.

+ -1 moreWe had a sewer back-up into our guest shower on a Sunday. I had tried to unclog the line myself with a DYI snake and a couple other suggested methods from the hardware store but I finally relented and realized I needed to call out the 'big guns'. I started calling plumbers 8am Monday morning. I had called a couple other plumbers recommended by a neighbor (both were closed for the day--??--it wasn't a holiday--??). Briggs had a plumber out here by 3pm and he had the drain unclogged and functional in 20 minutes. Briggs did the job for about what I spent the DYI route so next time I'll save my nose the abuse and call Briggs.

+ -1 moreI had a back up in the sewer system. This was plugged at the main sewer line. He had to pull out a flapper and round peice of plastic that had fallen and plugged the line. He pulled it out and the line was flowing.
