The older laptop was not being used as we have a newer unit, but we wanted it to run just enough to use it on trips with hotels that had wireless connections. Western Sky did it all to our satisfaction. This is the second time we have used them and we were quite happy with them then as well.. They have always said that if you need to call not to hesitate and they have been good about that as well. I would certainly recommend this outfit to anyone that needs a computer tech person to help with those troublesome problems that crop up now and then. You can take the computer in the morning and they more than likely will have it ready to take home by the end of the same day. Good service and courteous as well.

The technician found the hard drive was bad and after checking with me he sent it back for replacement sense it was only about 5 months old. When the new hard drive arrived he installed it, cleaned up the computer and called to have me pick it up. I was very pleased with the service and the price so I took my wife's laptop in and exchanged it to be cleaned as it was running very slow. The next day it crashed 3 times so i called to get it back in. Again I exchanged computers as he was done with the laptop and he checked further into what was causing the crashed. After 2 days it was ready to go at no additional charge and I haven't had any problems in the couple of days scene. The computer has had this problem for over two years and I have had other technicians work on it without success. I am very pleased with the efforts made and suspect that it is finally fixed. I did pay $71.10 for service on the laptop and it is running somewhat faster.

I found Western Sky PC on Angie's List after my (less than 18 month old) computer failed. The laptop refused to start for two whole days. Western Sky PC is open on Saturday, so I dropped in and explained what had happened. When I attempted to show them what was happening, the computer began working again. Classic, right? One would expect a moment of embarrassment, but their reaction at Western Sky PC was to jump in and help me copy some of my more important files onto a flash drive, anticipating that the computer could shut off again at any moment. Then, they tested my power cord, and I arranged to come back on Monday. Throughout the weekend, my computer worked fine. As you can imagine, I backed-up all my files, copied all my files, and ran all the antivirus & diagnosis maintenance functions I could find. The computer continued to work without any problems whatsoever. So, on Monday morning, I went back to Western Sky PC and told Justin what had happened. I said that I'd be back if the problem resurfaced. Justin never tried to sell me anything -- in fact, he refused payment for both the help with the file transfers and the power cord check. After my recent experience and reading the other reviews on Angie's List, I couldn't be any more convinced -- Western Sky PC is the place to go for IT support in the Prescott tri-cities area.

I was very impressed with Skip as he was not only knowledgeable and pleasant but ethical! I had called and brought my laptop in to have a larger hard drive installed but when Skip discovered I had a solid state hard drive in my laptop he suggested that I not replace the hard drive as replacement hard drives are not solid state and would not perform as well. Instead he offered to do a tune up which helped free up space and we discussed options with respect to increasing the use of external hard drives. I would definitely bring my computers back for service there and I highly recommend Western Sky PC for computer services.

Everybody was very friendly and we joked around a lot but no problems were fixed and no solutions offered.

All along the deal, they were communicating and they were giving me pros and cons in everything. As I said, with a humpy time day, they were giving me the options and then they would give me feedback on where was I, I called the guy, emailed the guy and it must have been five times straight; actually it is more than five times straight, six weeks trying to get the communication on it till finally came the response and the hard drive.

I could not be more pleased! Staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Service was speedy (computer taken in on Saturday was ready for pick up Sunday.) Charge was very reasonable. Although this business is a 2 hour drive from my permanent residence and I live in a metropolitan area of over 2 million people with probably hundreds of computer repair services, I plan to take all future computer problems to Western Sky,

checkup went well.screen not blinking any more.left computer to replace key board,they called saying it would take longer than expected to get a new keyboard so I picked up the computer and found their disk in the drive and getting home finding I had to wait while it went thou a diagnostic run(should have been done before I picked up the unit)keyboard came in on time and works great.

Couldn't have been a better experience.

Diagnosis was performed the same day I dropped off the computer. I was called with an estimate of how long it would take to mirror my hard drive (if possible; it was), obtain a replacement hard drive, install it and how much this would cost. The time table I was given was followed exactly. The price I paid was about $10.00 less than what I was quoted. My computer was also cleaned, which surprised and pleased me. I was, and still am, extremely pleased with their work and their indulgence of my follow up questions, which were numerous. I would use them again. Please Note: "Home Build Year" is the year I bought my computer new.

They are open seven days a week. I work from home and I have three computers and I have to have them maintained for different reasons. They are very reasonable. They initially charge you pay $30 and they trouble shoot it and then you decide to go with them that is included in the overall fixing of it. They are certified and A+ authorized service center. Another thing about them is that when I have used them and if I brought back my computer, they take it back and would fix it for free.
