Description of Work: I shipped a PC from Colorado to family member in Arizona. When it arrived it would not run because of the rough handling of the package. It had been bounced around so hard that the memory chips and video card had been dislodged from the slots on the motherboard. When the components were placed back into the proper slots the PC would not boot. | |Since I could not travel to Arizona to repair the PC I turned to Angie's List to find a professional to repair the damaged PC. I got a list of recommended professionals in the area and several of the people on the list were contacted. | |I spoke with Kyle at Tuff Techies regarding his experience, expertise, and tools he had available to diagnose and resolve the problems with the damaged PC. I was impressed with Kyle so I hired him to resolve the issues resulting from the poor shipping process of the carrier. | |After analyzing the damage Kyle determined the video card had been damaged beyond repair and needed a replacement. I ordered a replacement through Amazon.com and had it sent to his shop. Upon receiving the replacement video card the PC was reassembled and thoroughly tested. I was contacted when the repairs were completed and the family member picked up the PC and contacted me to tell me it was running perfectly. | |I contacted Kyle to pay him and thank him for his service in correcting the damage done by the carrier. He did a great job and had a suggestion that added value to the machine that will make the PC function better. | |I am quite pleased and happy with the efforts and professionalism Kyle exhibited in completing the repairs on the damaged PC. |

Description of Work: Needed immediate MacbookPro attention. Found this company and called for information. Made and appt. - they took care of me immediately. Very professional and communicative. My MacbookPro is up and running and continues to do well since their care.
