Terminix - Prescott Valley

I had them for a year now. They have been wonderful. He always comes on time. He always explains to me what is going on. They takes out all our cobwebs. He lets me know if there are any problem spots. Last year we had a bee problem so they did a full inspection. Since we have a certificate from them for the termite, that helps with our home owners.

They come out and do check up every few months. If I call them they will also come out right away.

We spend $250 a year for insect control and $270 a year for termite control. We like that they are on time, they are efficient and quiet. They are non-intrusive and they call ahead of coming out because we have dogs.

Terminix signed us up for a spraying plan which completely ignored our circumstances. They have a standard plan which sprays for insects we don't care about and ignores ones we do care about. They also seem to ignore the fact that we occupy our house only six months of the year and visit even when we are not there. When we tried to change the schedule, we found out that contrary to their deceptive ads, they are not actually located in Prescott Valley, but send an operator all the way up from Phoenix on a schedule which cannot easily be changed. Furthermore, they ignore the fact that though it was warm in Phoenix, we had ten inches of snow on the ground in Prescott once last year when they came to spray, so I rather doubt the effectiveness.

Contrary to my expectation, the service provider was not local, but had to reschedule once, then drive all the way from Phoenix to Presott, and could only promise a time window within 4 hours. Unlike other providers who've tailored the service to our needs, Terminix only offered a couple basic plans, and the most applicable was $400 per year for four treatments which makes no sense for us since there's no need for treatments here (6000 ft elevation) during the winter. Also the treatment did not include termites, for which they want to sell a completely separate plan. The provider was friendly and professional, and I've no complaints about what he did, but will look for somebody who can better tailor their proposal to my needs.

My experience with them has been okay; nothing about them really stands out to me. I've never used anyone else for this service so I can't compare their price.

THE GUYS DO A WONDERFUL JOB. ITS ALWAYS A VERY THOROUGH CHECKUP AND IF THEY DO SPOT A PROBLEM, THEY WILL NOTIFY US AND MAKE SURE ITS TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY. WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR YEARS.

SINCE THIS COMPANY HAS STARTED SPRAYING FOR PESTS AROUND THE FOUNDATION OF MY HOME I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH BUGS OR MICE. THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB EVERY TIME.
