Mike was so great to work with. As first time homeowners dealing with a failed shower and leak due to work prior to our purchase we had a million questions and concerns. Mike was patient and always willing to explain the pros and cons of different options. He was timely and efficient. We felt like Mike cared about not only delivering quality workmanship but also helping us keep project costs down. We absolutely hope to be able to work with Mike again the next time we undertake a housing project.

I am in shock. For six years I had a long list of all those undone home projects that made me crazy on a daily basis. And I had some I wanted done because they would make me happy. Then Angie’s list tipped me off to Mike Allen Remodeling…willing to return my calls, set a date, show up on time and able to do a great variety of tasks without ever saying “we don’t do that.” It is a near miracle! They were working in my home for several days researching solutions and even shopping for parts because I get intimidated walking into a home improvement store. Mike and Ray are a flexible team with many skills. When I told them I was a perfectionist, they understood what that meant. From painting, patching, repairing…jobs were small but many and it didn’t bother them to do the small stuff! They kept the chat to a minimum, were respectful of me and my home, did great cleanup afterwards and earned my respect and plans for future and bigger projects.

I called Mike because of his reviews and because he lives in the area. Was not disappointed. Relaxed a light fixture in laundry room, replaced garage flashing, and installed a dryer box so I can push my dryer close to the wall. Reasonably priced and personable too. Definitely will hire again

Mike is amazing. He has helped me with so much. I trust him with my home. He is great guy and knows what he is doing. If you want someone you can trust and can fix anything...he is your man. I cannot say enough about how he has helped me. The quality of his work is perfect. It is nice to have someone like this to help when you need it.

AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING!!! Mike is "The Bomb"!!! Unfortunately he started the day with a flat tire but called me to let me know he was running late instead of keeping me waiting and wondering. The job went well. Mike showed up on time. Painted and installed my bathroom baseboards. Added trim around my mirrors. I have hired him to do serval projects around my house and have been happy with his work and fair prices.

Excellent and we highly recommend Mike. Mike is reliable, trustworthy and has excellent attention to detail. We have used Mike on various large and small projects over the past several years. Additionally, we had Mike watch our house when we went home to Michigan in the summers and over the holidays for the past 9 years. Mike always does more than a typical house watch service. He kept the patios cleaned, the bushes trimmed, and fixed anything that needed repair so when we arrived for the season we weren’t doing work around the house. One of the other things we really appreciate about Mike is his ability to brainstorm good solutions to unusual problems that arose over the years. We are hoping to fly Mike to Michigan to work on our house up here, that’s how much we trust him. Mike is highly recommended.
