They are excellent. They do all the prep, clean-up, and move all the furniture. They are clean, pleasant, and do an excellent job.

The guy that came out to give us the quote and look at the house and he was just really super friendly and really knowledgeable. It's just kinda personality more than anything else but we really liked him.

Price was competitive however Manning's were booked a few weeks out so I chose another company to do the work.

His workers were polite and very great with customer relations. Matt did more than the bid called for (painting balcony black chairs plus black metal chairs for $70 more-a bargain). In the fall Matt pointed out that the east façade could need work in the next year or so.

They did an excellent job. The house look fabulous. I am totally pleased. They have a two year warranty which surprised me in a good way. They did the job as scheduled in a tough environment (monsoon storms). I highly recommend getting an estimate from Manning's.

They were professional from begninning to finish. They took the time time to explain step by step the exterior paint process and approximately how long the job would take. They were on time each day, quite and cleaned up at the end of the work day. They did a fantastic job of transforning my dull faided old paint job into a new refreshed and richer looking home. I can't say enough.! I would highly recommend this team of paint professionals and anyone assiciated with Manning Painting. Great Job. I can't wait until I need my interior paint done.........another perfect transformation.

Matt Manning knows what he's doing. And he knows how to hire. I have been a home owner for about 40 years, and in all that time, this was the best experience I've had with an exterior paint job. I gave all A grades, despite the fact that one should expect to pay a bit more when using Manning's Painting Company. This is NOT the company to call if what you're seeking is a fast dash of paint to tidy up the place for sale. However, this IS the company to call when wanting meticulous preparation and painting accomplished on a home that you respect. I know that I sound a tad over the top with enthusiasm; but it's difficult to say enough about the quality of workmanship my home received from the two very professional, polite, and hardworking painters that Matt provided for the job. The job got off to a slightly late start. This was due to the fact that repairs on the home just ahead of mine were going long. Matt communicated with me well in advance regarding the situation, and kept me informed daily with a phone call, hence, I feel deserves an A grade for punctuality. I had concerns regarding the wood siding on the west wall of my home, which I was certain would need to be replaced. However, this was not required; Matt's painters were able to beautifully patch the damage such that the siding appears restored to a state of integrity. The painters worked with quiet and cleaniness consistently provided. One got the feeling they worked as though it was their own home.

Overall, the painters exceeded my expectations! They were here every day per schedule and completed the project a day later than planned because of a snow storm (can't paint in cold weather).

I?ve had other painting contractors in the past and Manning surpassed all of them. They were on time, cleaned up every day. The painters were very professional and polite. They took down all the hardware in the home and put it back. They also repaired all cracks in the ceiling and walls at no extra cost. They caulked the baseboards in the entire home. I had some problems trying to pick out colors and Matt the owner helped me make my decisions. Matt has an eye for colors. I would hire and recommend Manning painting to anyone, which I have.

Everything was done on schedule and price was as estimated. Excellent job matching paint.

The exterior of the home was in poor shape. The trim had bare wood showing which needed to be sanded. The stucco had cracks that needed to be filled in. The gazebo was also in bad shape with the paint peeling off. First Matt explained the entire process and what they would do. They started with power washing then sanding and filling in the cracks. They primed the wood trim and applied 2 coats of paint. They used high quality paint. The workers showed up on time everyday and they worked until the job was finished. At the end of each day they cleaned up and left it looking nice. They did a beautiful job. The house looks new. It's amazing what a difference it made. The workers were polite and we couldn't have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend them to any one who needs painting done.

The painter's (Dave and Jason) started every day on time. It was apparent to us that they had worked out a system between them that made the work go very smoothly. They were quiet and got down to work each day without leaving a mess for us to have to maneuver around. If they had any questions, they checked with us first but that was kept at a minimum since the instructions from Matt were communicated well. Matt himself came by a couple of times to see how things were going. Every day Dave and Jason cleaned up so there was no mess left. We absolutey were thrilled with the final job. The quality of paint and especially the quality of work done was exceptional. We wouldn't hesitate to use Manning's again nor would we hesitate to recommend them to anyone. It's apparent that the paint finish will last a long time..

I called Matt Manning after thoroughly reviewing Angie's list for house painters. He responded to my call promptly and we set up a meeting time the same week to review the job. Matt walked around the exterior of our home, pointing out areas of concern and describing the work they would do and the options that we might consider. He was friendly and relaxed and handled my numerous questions with his full attention. It was clear that he loves to produce high quality results. They were booked for about a month out, but I was happy to wait. Matt called me ahead of time when the team was wrapping up their prior job. Two painters spent about a week at the house, most of that time was actually cleaning, sanding, repairing and getting the house in great shape before painting, so that the job not only looks beautiful but lasts longer. The team kept their schedule and cleaned up the job site every day. The entire experience was refreshingly easy and the results were excellent. We will definitely call Matt again for interior paint when we are ready.

I could not have been more pleased, and excited by the outcome. Matt was so easy to work with. The crew was excellent and made it a fun process for me to work with them throughout the job. It only took a year for me to write this, but the house looks beautiful and the decks hold water when it rains because they did such a thorough job. I would highly recommend Matt (and already have) to anyone that wants a job well done. I even had a painter from another house in our area come to my door to find out who painted the house because he was admiring the work. I have to add that Matt was very patient because I always had a lot of questions, which he patiently and thouroughly answered. I had a hard time deciding on the stain. He didn't hesitate to bring a new shade and paint it on the side. We both were always in agreement on the choice. The value for the job was absolutely worth it and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NEEDING PAINT WORK WITHOUT HESITATION. I plan to use Matt in the future for both interieor painting and when I redo the external painting.

The 2 man work team (Jason and David) arrived each day precisely at 0700 and finished the days work at 3- 3:30 PM, leaving the work area clean and neat. The men worked very quietly, save the sanding machine, and worked well together providing very professional results, and were pleasant and cooperative to deal with. The job progressed as Mat, the owner, had predicted when he presented the estimate. The job was finished in 5 days, Monday to Friday. Mat monitored and supervised the job progress on a daily basis. High quality Sherwin Williams paint products were used and the finished result exceeded our expectations, we couldn't be more pleased with the whole project, including the price. We are planning additional interior painting of rooms and will contract with Manning 's Painting Company to do the additional work.

They were very reasonable. I got quotes from three different people and they were one of them. They were very reasonable and his quote was the cheapest and he offered more than the others. I can’t complain about one thing. I would recommend them. They were very willing to help me in any way they could and make any changes if necessary. Their work was excellent and I was very pleased with them. Mr Manning was willing to come back and change anything I didn’t like. It was just excellent. The guy working with them was also excellent and I can’t say enough about them.

First, Matt Manning measured the house, discussed options, and developed a full written quote. I only got quotes from two contractors, including Manning. The other one just emailed me a quote, while Matt made sure I was home to go over the quote in person, line by line. He was punctual, for both the initial meeting, and the quote presentation. Matt was very patient with us as we struggled to come up with the right wall and trim colors. He painted several color samples on the wall on the back of the house, and offered his opinions on which was best, and why. Painting a sample on your wall is ESSENTIAL! The colors on the computer and on the color cards can be close, but the only way to tell how it looks is to paint it on your wall. Matt didn't push this crucial process; we felt like we had all the time and opportunity we needed to evaluate colors. In the end, we were extremely pleased with the color selection and quality of service. Preparation included pressure wash, sanding of facia and trim, and extensive caulking. Initial prep took about 3 days. Painting and final touchup, including painting the front door, took 6 days. We marveled at the thorough masking job that the painters did. There was NO bleeding of paint onto windows, frames, etc. that we could see. Every line was sharp, professional. The patio has 3 sun shades, which Matt's crew took down and re-installed after painting. All light fixtures and ceiling fans were COMPLETELY masked off and protected. Matt did not do any painting himself, but stopped by nearly every day to check progress, and keep me informed. The guy in charge of the crew was Doug, who was personable, helpful, and totally professional. One thing that impressed me about he whole operation is that 80-90% of the work done is preparation and cleanup, while only 10-20% seemed to be actual painting! We were so thoroughly pleased with our overall experience with Manning Painting Co. that I won't hesitate to give them a full recommendation! And, he knocked off $150.00 from the price, because he offered a discount for Angie's List members. Nuff said.

I would give him an A+ all around. He was very professional, timely and very friendly. He was willing to take the time and answer all of my questions as well as offering helpful suggestions.

These guys are the best! Matt came to my house in Prescott to provide me a quote. He spent time walking around the house with me pointing out issues and making suggestions. He also told me about his business and his crew. He then provided me a written quote stating exactly what he would do, what materials he would use, approximately when he would start and the cost to do it. Matt check in approximately one week before the date he had targeted to start. He confirmed the start date and start time. Matt and his crew arrived right on time. The Prescott house is all wood siding with lots of windows.He estimated 8 days to complete the job. During the project Matt checked in personally every day to ask if I had any questions or concerns. The crew was very professional arriving every day on time and cleaning up the site and raking my gravel at the end of every day. They finished right on time. The house looks fantastic! I can't find a drop of stain on any surface other than the house where it was intended. I was so impressed I asked Matt to give me a bid to paint my mother's stucco house. The bid was more than fair. It was a smaller job. Same story - he gave me a start date and an estimate of about 4 days to complete. Everything just like before - complete and looks great. I highly recommend Matt and his team!

The price was about $3200. I would probably not use them because some of the other people that have looked at the job didn't think that their approach was a right approach. It was also the most expensive approach.

This is probably the most professional company we have dealt with since being in Prescott, AZ for the last seven years. The price quoted was considerably less than two other companies we bid. We were concerned that the workers not be illegals, and were assured this would not be the case. Matt is so personable, knowledgable, and was very helpful when we were trying to decide on colors. He came to the house more than once when we wanted to see color combinations and painted areas on the side of the garage. He was honest about whether he thought the colors would be a good match. The painters, Pat and Ryan, were prompt, arriving at 7:00 A.M. as scheduled, every day. They worked through the hot July heat, taking only short lunch breaks. They worked extremely hard, as the exterior had to be properly prepped before the painting - they were professional and personable. When they were finished we did not find even one area where they had dripped paint - not ONE! We were very pleased with the job, and recommended them to my in-laws - after that job, they did my in-law's neighbor's house, just because of people seeing the excellent job they did. I would highly recommend this company for any painting job you have!
