My experience with Legacy and Frank in particular, was simply amazing. They went above and beyond. Their generosity, kindness, attention to detail and responsiveness is simply rare. A few examples: 1. Fully tarping my old roof before bad weather came in while waiting for my roofing materials to come in. This was done without even asking! 2. Taking some bags of trash for us since they were removing the old roof anyway. Offering to do something so simple really made an impact on me. 3. Working with a painter, stucco repair and general contractor to be sure our project was finished perfectly. 4. Making suggestions we never thought of to make our home more beautiful and then helping me locate the ornamental items unrelated to the roof. 5. Always answering my calls and concerns with patience and kindness, never making me feel stupid. This is a big one. I was respected and I appreciate that.

Just amazing work - I could not be any happier. I worked with Frank Vanderzee and he was extremely helpful and answered all my questions quickly. His team of guys were absolutely wonderful and did high quality work. Pricing was awesome. I highly recommend Legacy.

I had several roofers out to the house for repair estimates. Legacy was the only one that took their time and thoroughly inspected the roof. They pointed out several problem areas and let me know that the roof and the stucco walls as well were not built correctly causing possible leak areas. They gave me several options to choose from from repairing the existing roof wind damage, to repairing that plus the problem areas, to a complete re-roof. I opted for the complete re-roof and glad I did as everything I was told about the roof was corrected and more than five leaks were found which also lead to discovery of wet areas behind the stucco walls and termite damage that has no been repaired. None of this would have been found had they not been so thorough.

I have not gotten the job done yet. I got my insurance check back in December of 2016 and I actually have the check for the roof, but I've been having a terrible communication problem between two different roofing companies. Legacy is ready now to set a date to put the roof on. So at this point I cannot tell you anything about Legacy except so far I like them. I didn't get them by liking them; I bought them by them giving me an excellent roofing job and I cannot tell you that yet because they didn't do the job yet. They did a good job on the estimate. I would say they did a good job on the estimate only. For professionalism, I think they're good. For an estimate of course I would use them again. I un-chose somebody else because they were ignorant fools. I think Legacy knows the engineering and the science of the heat ventilation problems. A lot of these people are ignorant and they just slap on a roof, and they don't make anything of the fact you've got a lot of heat build up. Legacy talked about the technical aspects, so I was impressed with that, and that's why I selected them to do the roof job. I did not select them to do the estimate. I didn't select them because they were such good sweet people who answered the phone. I think they know technically what they are doing. Hopefully, the job ought to be done in about a month. I didn't hire them because of their sweet personality. I think technically they know what they're doing. If I'm disappointed, I will be really mad. I'm extremely patient. If you can imagine, I was paid in December and I'm still screwing around, trying to get the job done.

Can you say CON? Can you say SCAM! My advice is RUN FAR AWAY This almost cost me the sale of my house, if I hadnt requested a 2nd opinion then the buyers would have backed out...

We contacted Legacy Roofing to fix some broken tiles on the roof of our new house. They provided an email quote that suggested gluing the tiles with silicone rather than replacing them. We called them and asked that the tiles be replaced. They came to the house and glued the tiles with silicone, despite the fact that we had told them to replace the tiles. The silicone barely held the tiles together and was totally inadequate. We hired another contractor to replace the siliconed tiles, who charged us half what Legacy Roofing quoted just to glue them. Of course a dispute ensued, where Legacy Roofing demanded payment. I have never been called a "cray" by anyone before. But Nancy, their financial officer, certainly took no time to begin the verbal abuse. They did not do the work they were supposed to, demanded payment, and ended up charging twice as much for a repair as someone else charged for a full replacement. We settled with them as they took their collections demand out on the broker who had introduced us to them, and it became an issue of honor, but I can assure you that there was no honor on their end. I would suggest that you avoid this vendor if you can. You really don't know about a company until things go bad to see how they behave, and when things went bad for me, Legacy Roofing totally lost it and behaved in a manner appropriate for a 2 year old child having temper tantrums.
