Help U Move

Kevin, the man in charge, recommended that I hire a dumpster, which would be less costly than Help You Move making several trips to the dump in their truck. He helped me arrange this with Southwest Waste Services, Inc. It took Michael, Morgan, Daniel and Bobby two sessions of work to load the dumpster. They worked very diligently, as it was a big job. Plus, the buyer of my old home was remodeling the outside, which made moving things out difficult. The workers, plus the office lady, Sigrid, were very polite and considerate, as a lot of my memories and ties to the past went into that dumpster. My moving task was out-of-the-ordinary, but the Help You Move people were creative in finding me a solution.

We had a small move going a short distance and Help U Move got us moved with only one day notice. The price was very reasonable and Morgan and Mike did a great job. Both were polite and very helpful. I do recommend them and would use this company again.

I cannot say enough how pleased we were with these men who moved us a whole mile up the road. Their bid on the move was lower than a competitor's, and we liked Kevin very much when he came to do the estimate. When we found, a couple of days before moving day, that we needed help packing, they came immediately and finished the job. They packed everything like it was going thousands of miles...not just one mile. The closing on our new house purchase was delayed, and they were BEYOND accommodating of the glitches on moving day. The four men who moved everything were friendly, and very respectful of our things. And FAST. The charge is an hourly rate, but there was no dawdling here. These men MOVED. (pun intended) We would absolutely recommend this company for any move.

I have not made the move yet, so cannot comment on the movers' performance at this time.

The movers were very friendly and listened to any of my requests. I was surprised at how fast the job was completed. They had a lot of stairs on the move out, but never complained once.

Packed speedily but carefully. Hot day but they worked steadily til the job was completed. Very pleasant and polite. Nothing damaged or misplaced.

They called to ask if they could arrive earlier than scheduled to begin unloaded. I was very happy to say yes. They arrived and quickly, and efficiently move all the household goods into our 2 story home. There is no way my wife and I could have done this because the stairway was so narrow. They set our furniture up where we wanted it and was very patient to work with our, sometimes, indecisions and wanting to move stuff! Great job. Will use them again as I have one more trip to do. Thank you.

We were very pleased with their service in all ways. The guys were very friendly, skilled, and very hardworking. They took care with all of our belongings and with the house itself. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing moving services in the Prescott area.

One day for packers to box up my entire home, guys were very professional not to mention fast. Movers were careful with my furniture and personal belongings. They even found a larger storage unit for me when the U Haul unit I has rented turned out to be too small. The entire experience was made easy by Help U Move. Would use them again !

The first move went as expected. They did an average job. I will say they were acting rushed and didn't put together all of the furniture; left some in pieces. We hired them to come back the next day to rearrange the storage unit and to retrieve pieces of furniture that we decided we actually had room for. That experience was horrible. One of the movers actually yelled at me and wanted to know why I didn't think of this the day before, At which point I suggested if they weren't interested in the job, I would hire someone else. He said, and quot;Don't say that or I will walk.and quot; I gladly accepted his offer. I sure don't want people handling my belongings if they are angry. I called the owner about the incident, and he was very rude and suggested the entire incident was my fault which is absurd. I just wanted my stuff moved. Moving and starting a new job is stressful enough, so who needs drama from a prima donna mover with an attitude. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We had used Help You Move (NOT to be confused with Help U Move) on 6th Street before and had been very happy (did not do a review then) and decided to use these bonded movers again for our local move. This is a truck and and quot;ableand quot; body business and they moved heavy furniture up a flight of stairs and into their 26' truck. They did not break anything. They did not mar the walls. They did not curse... they did sweat ;^) All three were friendly and listed to directions. They worked fast. We were happy enough to tip them at the end and that was also our prior experience. This was a 20 mile move, not a state to state. Cost was very reasonable and we felt that is was the most bank for the buck. Everything came thru unscathed and we are missing and quot;nothing.and quot; Good folks, good company. Call Ingrid... she's great.

From the initial quote through the move, everything went smoothly, without a hitch. The quote was provided by owner Kevin, who was punctual, knowledgeable, and helpful. Kevin spent time reviewing the details of our local move and offered money saving suggestions. We felt confident and safe to trust our belongings with Help-u-Move. Moving day went perfectly. The movers arrived exactly on time, got to work immediately. They were thorough and conscientious. A friend commented on their professionalism. It was obvious that they knew what they were doing. Our move involved some large appliances, Help-U-Move movers handled them beautifully. Doors were off hinges, handles off appliances in what seemed like seconds. These men really know their stuff. The movers were friendly, clearly enthusiastic about their work, and eager to please. At the end of the move, all of our belongings were put in place as we requested. The men showed great concern for our satisfaction. Not a scratch or a dent to be found! And we saved money because of Kevin's advice, so our move took less time and cost less than the original quote. This experience was very positive. Moving is always stressful and emotions can run high. The movers from this company were wonderful, professional, polite and did their job quickly and efficiently.

They are awesome. My mother was on a limited income, and she was going into independent living from a facility. We had to move her out of that facility, move her back home, and then move her into another facility. They were excellent. I had called them up and asked them if they could move it up about an hour, and they said that they were going to call me anyway, because they had a situation where they already needed to move things up an hour, so things worked out really well.

They were fabulous and very very nice. They didn't complain with the work given to them. I would use them again in the future if needed.
