Hacienda Del Ray Landscaping did a very good job. They did a very nice job. They were quick and efficient and did a nice job. The price was competitive, I'd say it was a fair price and it was a good quality. I will use them again if needed.

Showed up on time. Worked hard. Addressed all issues as they arose. Ray has come back to take care of some irrigation issues.

Although it has been a while since Ray did work for me, as a new member of Angies List, I was thrilled to see his work and his ratings were included! It comes as NO surprise to me that he is still receiving rave reviews!! Ray, the owner, is prompt, courteous, knowledgable, extremely customer service and customer satisfaction oriented and VERY professional. His crew was incredibly dsciplined and there was always a crew supervisor available - and Ray himself stopped by frequently! Amazingly, the job stayed within his original estimate, was completed on time and within my budget!! I WISH I had more work for him to do!!

We have used Ray for 3 different landscaping jobs. His company does a great job, at a good price. Ray had many ideas for making our back yard unique and provided quick service. His employees are very professional and hard working.

We are very happy with him. He provided a pretty extensive service.The price was reasonable, considering all that he did.

Looking to re-landscape, called three well-rated Landscappers on Angie's List for quotes (one never returned call). When Ray came to submit bid, he inspected everything found broken pipe in irrigation system, found broken control box on lights, showed us how to work sprinklers. Other contractor wanted $450 to inspect irrigation system and show us how to use it. We were able to replace controller box ourselves. Hacienda Del Ray returned today to replace broken spinkler pipe ($120) and check control box we replaced do-it-yourself.

From the first interview and estimate to the completion of the job, everything was done well in a very professional way.

First off, I am not an easy grader... but this is one of the few times that I could not find fault with a service! When we decided to redo our small backyard, the search for a contractor was... let's just say and quot;interestingand quot;. As newcomers to the area, we didn't know who to ask for recommendations. Then I saw a TV ad for Angie's List and hoped it would lead us to a winner... so I signed up. After a few calls we had a fun cast of characters (wink) with all sorts of conflicting advice for us, even though we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. We were sure a bit of lawn was a must, and equally sure we didn't want to care for a lawn. After seeing a large roll of synthetic turf at a wholesale club, we started researching it on the web as possibly the perfect solution. This led us to a company called Arizona Luxury Lawns, which had chosen Hacienda Del Ray as their installer for the Prescott area. We thought and quot;what the heck, let's audition one more character for our dramaand quot;. Our call was answered immediately by owner Ray Hernandez, who stated he was on his way home and could swing by right away for a bid. We had to laugh when it turned out he lived about six blocks from us! Right away we could tell we'd finally found a thoughtful and down-to-earth professional to deal with! He quickly came up with great recommendations and wrote up a surprisingly good bid for us on the spot. He then invited us over to his house to see similar work he did in his own yard. He inspired confidence, so we took a leap of faith even though he had no reviews yet on Angie's List. When I mentioned that, he referred me to the Better Business Bureau, where his company checked out great. Unfortunately for us, his services are apparently in demand and he couldn't start our project for over 2 weeks. In the meantime, he would drop off samples for us to check out, and return calls right away with answers to our questions. When the start date neared he told us his crew would arrive at 8:30 am and the job would take 3 days. When day 1 arrived, I kid you not, Ray and a crew of 4 showed up at 8:30 sharp! They wasted no time prepping the area, and were into the installation phase before we knew it. After removing lots of coarse landscape rock, laying out the area, checking for proper drainage, hauling in lots of sand and compacting it... the heavy multi-colored pavers were quickly placed like a jigsaw puzzle to expand our patio. Our unsightly small existing concrete patio was also covered in pavers and they tied it all together seamlessly for a very uniform look. We liked it so much that we decided to expand one area a bit further. Of course, that caused them to be short of material, but day 1 ended with the pavers almost complete. The next day we were gone for the morning and returned about noon to find the entire job almost done! Turf was in and looked great... and after about another hour of wrap-up and clean-up, it was finished. We let our dog out and he promptly laid on the turf and started rolling on it. It had passed the best-friend test! Ray filled us in on the simple care steps and warranty, then snapped a picture of our happy pooch on the turf for his portfolio. We were left somewhat stunned that it was already done (in less than 2 days) and looked so good! What's your guess... think we're happy?
