Hoe did it go? It went bad right away. The young girl was unable to answer any of my technical questions and was unwilling to forward the call to anyone that might be able to answer my questions. But she was more than willing to schedule a visit - for $20.00. How can a company send any tech on a 3 hour drive for $@0.00 and make money. Avoid this company at all costs. They claim to be in Yavapai county, but the call center is in Tempe.

I was out away on a business trip and returned home to a garage door that wouldn't open. I had to manually lift the garage door to park both our cars in our driveway, which was a hassle after a long flight. I called A1 Garage Door the next morning (Saturday) Booked an appointment and Roger arrived later that day. The problem was solved in around 40 minutes and Roger programmed some new garage door openers also. Such a nice guy and top shelf servic! I recommend A1 Garage Door to anyone and everyone. Customer service and quality like this is rare and appreciated.

The service was excellent. fast same-day response. A1 set up a time to check out the install site, they were on time. The installation team was back at my house around 4 pm and the job was finished on the same day. Well-done. I give A1 an A-plus grade.

Great experience with A1 Garage. Called them up based on the positive reviews. I wanted a quick release lever on my garage door. Jonathan was on time, professional and performed an additional task for no extra fee. He also greased the tracks, so no more noisy door! To sum it up, very painless. I wish all home service places were this good.

The spring on our garage door broke on a Monday. got online last Tuesday and found A1 Garage Door. Solely based on the five-star rating I called them up. I wasn't let down. A very friendly man answered the phone set my appointment. It was no hassle to add me at the last minute towards the end of the day. Peter looked at the spring and discovered that I had a little bit of an issue - our garage door is an heavy duty type and the spring is beefy & expensive. Peter had everything he needed on his truck, including (amazingly enough) this huge red spring that was the one I needed. Boom done. It wasn’t even crazy expensive. A1 is now our new Garage Door company. Super-fast & nice, and awesome. I truly believe I got a decent deal and A1 impressed me. Peter was great.

My garage door was installed about 4 years ago and was always a bit problematic. The low ceiling created a custom job that was very difficult to deal with. The original company who installed it had returned many times to try to fix it, to no avail. It would almost close completely, then go back up. I bailed on them and went to A1. Donnie came out and made some adjustments and said it should be fine. Two days later the door wasn't working again. A1 sent Donnie back who was a little embarrassed. He discovered the problem and had it fixed in no time. As per A1’s policy, they didn't charge me for the second visit, even though it took him 1 hour to fix it. They are friendly, honest, and prompt. I hope I don't need them again, but will definitely call them back if needed.

A1 garage door service had Barry come out to fix our garage door and was super. We called the day before to schedule it and they gave us a next day appointment. It was pretty non- eventful, no hassle, seamless and not busting the bank. We'll definitely use them for maintenance and/or further repair.

My garage spring busted this weekend so I called A1 Monday morning and they were at my house approximately 3 hours later. The man’s mane was Henry. I believe he charged a fair price with consideration to the fast response time. Henry fixed it in 45 minute & clued me in on information for regular maintenance. Very knowledgeable and professional. Fast, too. Call these guys at A1 if you need anything regarding your garage door!

A1 Garage Door service had a sticker on my door so I called them, they sent out a man came out on a Saturday. I absolutely could not get my garage door to close. He said apparently sometimes bugs nesting up in there, cobwebs or something might get caught up in the control of the opener. He adjusted the gears, sprayed specific small parts and replaced the motherboard which was fried. A1 saved me money on having to buy a completely new garage door opener. Very honest and decent people. hardworking & friendly.

) I’ve used A1 garage Door Service four times, and these guys have always provided prompt, professional and high-quality work for a reasonable price. Last week, my garage door failed to open and I called A1 around 5 pm, expecting to leave a message. Surprisingly they answered and the guy helped me diagnose the problem over the phone which seemed to be a snapped cable on the right side of the door. They were booked up for that evening, but they sent a guy early the next morning. New cable installed and all fixed up in under 2 hours, and my garage door was working before I left for work. A surprisingly easy transaction and I will confidently recommend them to others.

I had a few small issues with our garage door, so I made an appointment for a tune up ( I had a coupon) to prevent bigger problems in the future. They arrived when scheduled/ on time, were friendly, lubed the hinges and made some adjustments on the springs. I was educated on how to spay the hinges and with the special lubrication, so that next time I can do that myself. They told me the rollers seemed ok for now but would possibly need replacement in the future. It was all in all around 80 bucks. Worth every penny.

) I hired A1 to lube up a very noisy garage door. Called in an appointment for a garage door tune-up for Thursday on Tuesday morning. The nice lady at the call center told me there was a chance that they would be able to come earlier on Wednesday which was great! I can't recall exactly what they initially quoted to me on the door tune up, but I seem to remember it being around it was around $79. That was very fair because the guy did a full check up and looked at and inspected everything, and lubed up the rollers with special lube. He also gave us helpful tips for the ongoing maintenence of the door. A1 great experience, would definitely use again!

I’ve used A1 garage Door service for around 4 years now, both on my own home & our rental home and fix-em-ups that we've gotten involved with. I discovered this company because once I was stranded at home, unable to open my garage door. I called and low-and-behold! A1 works on Sundays!! They sent over a guy named Ronnie. Not only is Ronnie quite skilled at his job, he is extremely honest, and the prices he quoted me were fair & reasonable. A1 always shows up when they schedule you, call ahead with an ETA and get the job done!

When my friend told me that he hit the garage door with the car I laughed & told him that this is just another sign that he really needs a new garage door. He asked me if I know someone who fixes garage doors and I said I’d ask around my neighborhood. But I asked my coworker, he said that he once used the services of a garage door company called A1 garage doors. They said they charge $62.96 just to come out, but most times its waived when people get repairs done. it sounded like an odd amount, but I can see the logic behind it. My friend agreed. Robert came right on time, and professional. But what I liked even more was the honesty. He recommended to perform a temporary repair for 100$, and to purchase a new door at the end of the year, instead of spending 600$ on a new section. Really honest! props to A1

After being stood up, I called the main office where their automated greeting states: "Winner of the Angies List award". I LAUGHED. I cancelled my appointment.
