We had a major water leak in our front yard that entailed digging trenches and pretty much ruining the landscaping. We also needed the irrigation replaced and decided to get both jobs done. Western Irrigation was our choice for this project. Phineas the owner came out, provided an estimate and explained i ndetail all that would be done and materials needed. Very pleasant and professional as were his crews. They did a superb job, irrigation then landscaping and everything works and looks great. The cost was excellent also and the job even came in under estimate. We hired Phineas to landscape our backyard with astroturf, curbing, rock, irrigation and plants/trees. Out of the 4 or 5 quotes I got, Phineas was one of the most professional and knowledgeable. He was very responsive and flexible throughout the process, was competitively priced, and was not pushy like some of the other places we got quotes from. The quality of work was very good and the finished yard looks great. We would highly recommend him and will likely use him again for future landscaping projects.

Fineas replaced an existing system that was not working very well. He was very professional and easy to work with and very competitive. I flew in just for the project and he started and ended exactly as planned.

I met with Mr. Murza a couple of times so he could fully understand what my expections were. He was very punctual, professional, and it was obvious that he knows his business very well. I thought I knew what I wanted but he offered great suggestions and I was very pleased with them and incorporated many of them into what we did. His crew was very respectful of my time and family situation ie: not loud in the morning, I didn't hear any cursing or swearing which was appreciated, they are very hard workers, and didn't leave a mess when they left. We had chosen a certain tree for the side yard but after construction began, Mr. Murza told me that he was having a difficult time locating any. He asked if I wanted to choose another type of tree. I told him that I would rather wait and see if he could find the ones that I wanted. In the end, he was able to find all five of the trees that I wanted in a very timely manner. I was so excited to return home from work that day and see the beautiful trees planted. We also had him lay pavers where the gravel was on the side of the driveway. They did a beautiful job and I'm so pleased. In the photo, you can see that it's not quite finished yet because we are waiting for the internet provider to move the pedestal. We had gotten two other estimates and Mr. Murza's fell in between the two price wise. We decided to go with AZ Landscape Design because we could tell from the first meeting that he listens well, is easy to work with, and had great suggestions for a most desirable outcome. The time frame from first meeting to finish was two weeks. I overlooked the fact that Easter was upcoming but he and his crew worked hard so that everything was done the day before Easter. In the end, I believe that Mr. Murza and his crew under promised and way over delivered. We love our new back yard!

He came exactly when he said he would. We have a lot of plants and flowers, and many were new. We let our new large puppy out in the yard , and caught him pulling out our drip lines. We didn't know how many our dog pulled out. He got down by each plant to see if the drip system was by each plant and it wasn't. The dog pulled out every one. He replaced all the lines with new caps on all my plants. Then set our timer and got down by each plant to make sure each one was working. He was Great. Well 2 days later my daughter didn't think it would hurt leaving the dog out side alone for 10 minutes, well she was wrong. He pulled out another 3 lines. I was so embarrassed having to call him back for just 3 lines, because we live in Buckeye which is far from his shop, but I had to because they were new plants. I called him and he was so nice. He said it was no problem, and came back 2 days later. Replaced the lines, made sure they were all working Again, and did not want to charge me. He didn't charge much the first time when he replaced all the lines. I called many companies, and he was the most reasonable priced, but did exceptional work. Well I was not going to let him come all the way back here for free because what happened was our fault, not his. I made him take the money. He is our irragation man for life.

They were fantastic. Punctual, responsive to questions and issues, and would not take final payment until everything was how I wanted it. I would and will use them again.

We hired Fineas to 1.) Remove a large tree that was planted too close to the house and was leaning over our neighbor's roof, 2.) Remove an old concrete patio and pavers, 3.) Install a new drip system, 4.) Install a large paver patio, 5.) Add some new rock and landscaping. We couldn't be happier with the completed project and Fineas was so wonderful to work with! He makes really good suggestions every step of the way based on his experience with what works and what doesn't. The price was very reasonable and the project was completed in a very timely manner. I highly recommend this company and would hire them again without hesitation.

Work was high quality and Fineas is so courteous to the owners needs and changes during the project. Everyday we received status updates and Fineas provides great customer service. There is a one year guarantee to any items that need to be addressed and he delivers on his word. We also had a masonry block wall added after the project was over and Fineas was more than accommodating to the additional work requested. Scheduling was no problem and more accommodating than any other companies called.

Fineas is the ideal person to work with when you want a great outcome with zero concerns along the way. We had multiple quotes for pavers and artificial turf. Fineas was comparable with the lower cost competition but what set him apart was his ability to communicate and his willingness to come over and discuss the details as well as offer to show us other projects he has completed. Once we agreed to move forward, he typed up a document with the plans and payment dates. He preferred that we both know exactly what we expect from each other and also said if something needs changing it's no problem along the way. Fineas' crew was timely, courteous, and friendly. As work was performed on the pavers, I did not like the design I came up with and asked him if we could change it. He said sure and he wants it exactly to our liking. Fineas did not complain or try and make us feel bad about this. Once the pavers were installed and before the plants/drip system/turf was installed I needed a friend to bring rock and install it. Fineas was ok with waiting and working around his schedule to accomodate this request. It had rained and I was not sure when I could get the rock installed but Fineas was fine with this and just asked that I keep him updated. This is how the entire project went, smooth and easy. After I got the rock installed Fineas was able to finish everything very quickly. Now that everything is done, I have a stunning backyard! I would recommend him to others and I also plan to use his services in the future for the front yard.

We had seen Fineas' work at our son's home (paver courtyard, back patio, and an enhanced front entry and sidewalk). It was beautiful. Our own project was also planned and completed perfectly. We met with Fineas to show him our challenge and discuss our options. He made suggestions that were much better than ours, then he and my husband tweaked the design to lay the pavers on a diagonal, refine the outer boundary, and to add the curved masonry bench. What we appreciate is that Fineas wanted to be sure he was capturing and implementing our vision. He always communicated what would be happening and when any adjustments had to be made. The supplies were ordered and delivered on schedule. The crew was on-site when they were scheduled, and they worked worked hard and respectfully. We are totally satisfied with our experience with Fineas Murza LLC, and if we need landscaping design or pavers in the future, we will certainly call him first. He gave excellent service. The price was good, and he was very responsive.

It's over a month since work was completed (the job took almost three eight-hour days) and it looks great and the sod is doing well too. Fineas is attentive, professional, and is concerned about satisfying his clients. He used a two man crew and they were good and cleaned up each day.

I purchased the pavers and sand separately and had them delivered. Fineas and a helper arrived promptly to begin the work which, before the pavers could be installed, involved levelling the dirt area. In so doing, they had to remove and dispose of about four tons of dirt, no easy task. The job took about two and a half days at the end of which several pallets and a number of pavers were left over; Fineas returned these to the supplier so I could receive credit. Fineas is very industrious, hard-working and exacting in the work he does. Additionally, he will provide suggestions regarding the project which, in this case, made the project better than originally envisioned. For the work done and the effort expended, I felt the price was more than fair. I would highly recommend Fineas for any job involving masonry, paving and concrete work as well as landscaping and irrigation which are his specialties. l
