+ -1 moreThe Valleywide plumber came, cut out a piece of pipe, then vanished for four hours. We had no water. We called him several times, and he said he'd be back in 30 minutes. But it took four hours for him to show up. The eventual patching work he did will have to be replaced by real professional plumber. We have filed a better business bureau complaint, and are negotiating with the owner. I would never trust this company to take care of anything. You can't trust a thing they say, and you can't trust their work.
Description of Work: We had a pinhole in the water line that needed patching. Valleywide showed-up, cut a section of the pipe out, then vanished for four hours. (If we would have known that we would have been without water for half a 110 degree day, we would have just gone over to Ace Hardware and purchased a bolt-on patch for $10 and had the job finished in 45 minutes. Valleywide did not have fittings and their solution was to put a friction fit plastic pipe in place, which was not a seal, it was leaking when they put it in.

Description of Work: He replaced some shower valves in the master bath in April. He also checked the sink for me.

+ -1 moreThe young men they sent to do the job, knew what they were doing so much so, I called them back later to thank them for doing such a excellent job. Josh, was the young man who came out & did the work. He was very nice, personable and I really felt safe having him in the house. I would rather go with a smaller company like "Valley Wide" who would bend over backwards to help than go with one of those big companies. It's a little overwhelming with so many plumbers listed in the phone book sometimes but, this company is worth going down to the "V" section of the phone book because of the great work they do. When they came out, they went beyond professional. They were friendly, open, helpful and take care of you like they were your big brother. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: They replaced my garbage disposal, two toilet rings and replaced shower valves in 2001. In 2005, they installed new washing machine hoses and valves at the wall so I could turn them on & off. They installed 3/4 inch on/off valves on my manual lawn sprinkler system. *Comments: My feedback is based on my two experiences with them in 2001 and 2005. I don't know whether their business has changed or how many service people they have working for them now but, when I used them their service was excellent and their prices were very, very fair. They were also very kind and caring in person and over the phone. They were very prepared when they came out to do the work. They were clean, thorough and just excellent people to work with. They did their work with integrity and great service. They were really focused on giving people the best service possible to insure that they came back.

+ -1 moreI FELT THEIR PRICING WAS EXCESSIVE. THEY CHIPPED ONE OF MY SINKS IN THE BATHROOM. THEY DID NOT PUT A CLEAN PANEL ON THE BACK OF THE BATHTUB. THEY JUST CUT THE DRYWALL AND LEFT IT.
Description of Work: REPLACED TWO TOILETS AND 3 FIXTURES.
