Service good. Price bad. Dispatcher said $48 minimum for visit plus work, depending on difficulty. Service Tech said it was an easy job and it was. Took him 3 minutes. He then charged me $80. That's a $32 dollar premium for an easy job - very unprofessional- I hate getting the bait ($48) and switch ($80)!

Nathan was punctual, professional, kind, friendly, and efficient. He was finished in less than 45 minutes and gave me the Angie's List discount that we had agreed upon. I am very pleased.
Description of Work: Needed a regular handleset replaced with a keypad handleset, and a single deadbolt replaced with a double-cylinder deadbolt; and then all three new key locks in those new pieces re-keyed to my existing key.

I've used United Lock on 2 separate occasions and both experiences were great. Easy to schedule, very prompt, quick service and in one case (gate deadbolt) offered to repair the lock instead of replace it, which was less expensive for me. I would recommend them highly!

Prompt (actually called and arrived earlier than schedule). Professional. No wasted effort. A+
Description of Work: Bolt latch was frozen in front door keyed lock. Nate was able to remove it without damage to door. He replaced with new latch and door set and also re-keyed and replaced door set on back door and fixed screen door that wasn't closing properly.

All aspects of the service were great. I think that I requested the appointment via the internet. They called me back the next day and scheduled a time to come out. The person that came was on time and completed the service competently. They also honored a coupon that they probably did not need to because my request was more complex than what the coupon was for.

Nate Ramirez took the initial call to get info on the job and then performed the job. He explained how the work could be done, giving us options for it. He was clear on understanding what we wanted, and he quoted a price that was reasonable. He was on time, he focused on the job, and cleaned up. Nate even made a follow-up call on something extra we requested and did so without charging us except for the materials. In short, he did a quality job.
