Description of Work: Sold house, so had them move furnishings to friend's house awaiting completion of new house. When new house was completed, had them move furnishings once again. They were the most careful and professional movers we have had over the last three moves. Nothing was marred or broken or chipped including walls and furniture. They were phenomenal. Highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We moved from Tempe AZ to Lake Havasu. They loaded us up on the 22nd then stored our furniture overnight at their secure site. We left early the next morning and got there just in time to get the AC on and working for the movers. They arrived when they said they would, unloaded and did a great job. They wrapped what we needed wrapped, did their job in a timely fashion and were very professional the entire time. I need to mention it was 114 degrees outside the two days they moved us and we never heard one compliant despite them having to go up and down stairs at the first location. They remained pleasant and kept on working with no breaks except for an occasional drink of water which we insisted on. We would highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreMoving is never fun, but TWO MEN AND A TRUCKand reg; made it as easy as possible. They arrived promptly. The paperwork was minimal. They got to work immediately and never stopped. The actual packing was even better than I thought it would be. Everything came to the new location without a scratch, ding, or dent. The gentlemen were polite and professional. They were very patient about resetting the furniture if I decided I did not like the original placement. The cast was lower than the other estimates I got for the job. It made the move much easier.  + -1 moreWe hired 2 Men and a truck to move an extremely large (over 8 feet tall) antique armoire. The two men Joe and Lafayette arrived and first examined the house and armoire to determine how best to move it. When they determined the best way, they came into the house and totally wrapped it in moving blankets. Then on top of that, they wrapped the entire armoire in moving plastic. By this point, the armoire was totally wrapped, safeguarded and the doors safely wrapped closed. Then they carefully moved the armoire to the side and wheeled it out of the house. Once out at the truck, they loaded the armoire and placed it on its back (this was no easy task, the armoire weighs over 300 pounds). They followed me back to the location where we were transporting the armoire to and just as carefully unloaded the armoire AND unwrapped it where we wanted it placed in the house. Since there was still plenty of time on the 2 hour minimum charge, Joe and Lafayette helped us move some more furniture around the house.I would absolutely recommend 2 Men and a Truck to my friends. THANKS Joe and Lafayette!!!

Description of Work: I found 2 Men and A Truck through Angie's List because of there reviews , When I called I spoke to Doris and let me tell you she is the sweetest and most friendly person that I have had the pleasure speaking to. She gave me a idea what the complete job would cost and how many hours it would take, well this girl was right on the money I told her I need to moved on the 20th of January 2013 so she block out that complete day for us, and she also said that she would confirm everything 24 hours in advance. The drivers showed up at the time they said they would and started to work right away. They never took a break not even after I offered them something to drink.We were moving from Sun City West to Gold Canyon in Arizona. I even had a Golf Cart that had to go on the truck and they said no problem and took care of it. They made sure that our very old dining room furniture was handle with extreme care The drivers were Desmond and Victor and I can not say enough about these guys , we were so happy my wife gave them both a tip . We will be moving again in 6 months and I will only call 2 Men And A Truck and only those two drivers. Best Company and the two best workers

They reported in to the company that the job was started when they pulled up to the house but took another 1/2 hour or so to fill out paperwork etc. We thought we had done all of the required paperwork and contract prior to the arrival. Apparently we were and quot;on their clockand quot; from the moment they pulled up. During the time they actually did the moving they were very efficient, fast and organized.
Description of Work: We employeed the moving service to move approximately 4 - 5 miles. Furniture and belongings from approx. 1500 sq.ft.single level house to a slightly smaller single level condo. Two guys and a large truck were provided. 3 adults in the family also joined in.

 + -1 moreThey were very courteous. They wrapped the door so they did not scratch them and if there were any scratches on the furniture, they showed you before they move it so that you know it was there. They were very good. They were just excellent. I was very impressed.
Description of Work: I used Two Men And A Truck about a month ago. They moved all the big stuff from my existing house over to a new house, not the small stuff but the appliances needed, couches and TV and all that stuff. It took about four to five hours.

 + -1 moreThe loading was finished within 30 minutes of the original estimate. They brought additional packing materials (a few pieces of which I bought during the job) and were finished and gone in their empty truck on schedule. The loaded POD was picked up the following day and delivered 10 days later on the east coast. Upon unloading, there was not a new scratch on anything and NO breakage of any kind. We got the packing supplies from U-Haul and did not compare prices with those of 2 Men and a Truck. When staging for the loading, DO make liberal use of packing PAPER for breakable items such as dishware and kitchen items before filling the boxes.
Description of Work: Used PODS to move son across country. Bought packing materials (separately in advance), had empty POD onsite and pre-packed standard 3 cubic feet shipping boxes, dishpaks and wardrobes ready so that when the 2 Men and a Truck two-man team arrived, all they had to do was to load the boxes and fujrniture. This included some disassembly and separate wrapping of fragile items such as stereo components, speakers, televisions, entertainment center sections. They organized and loaded the POD very securely and were careful to tie everything down. Load consisted of 2 bedrooms, one living room, kitchen, framed pictures and misc towels, linens and clothing. They had estimated two hours for this loading.
