TWO BROTHERS HOME REMODELING

We called Karl Mead the owner for a quote about 6 months before the job. He came and assessed our situation and gave us a quote for the labor and hidden matierials and an estimate for the finish materials. We then had two unexpected medical emergencies and told him we would have to wait. We called him back 6 months later and he took me shopping for all materials: cabinets, tile, counter tops, etc. The cost increased ONLY BECAUSE MY CHOICE OF MATERIALS was not ordinary. Everything I chose was custom. His price for his labor remained the same.The job began and was always on our job when he said he would be there at the time he told us he would be there. He was a perfectionist when it came to quality. We left him alone on the job when we had other things to do. He and his brother Rick (who did the painting to finish it) can be trusted to do what they say they are going to do. This job could have been done for about 10K less if standared materials had been chosen. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHETHER THE JOB IS BIG OR SMALL. This is definitely a winner to choose. Two Brothers is a company based on high standards and integrity. I would be glad to personally talk to anyone considering Two Brothers.

Rick Mead is a true professional. I have used him on four rentals and my own house. He is a superb painter and great handyman. I really appreciate that he is one of the few small contractors who is in control of his schedule and expenses. He knows how to bid and is worth every dollar! He finishes on time and always lets me know how the project is progressing. I always had assorted tasks as he is working and am very appreciative that he remembers all the tasks and does them properly the first time. I have found many handymen and painters require constant supervision - NOT Rick - he really takes pride in his work.

I had Carl come over to give me an estimate on a garage expansion. He told me he would send me an e-mail with a written estimate soon, but he never did. Nor did he ever return my calls (dispite repeated attempts) Note: these guys are not licensed. They probably do good work on smaller jobs, but for larger jobs, especially involving changes to the outside structure of the house, you're taking your chances

Karl was very easy to work with. He listened to our vision and then made it happen. Karl and his crew perform top quality work.

Did not call to cancel or reschedule.

We were impressed. If only all contractors operated this way...Karl was personable on the phone. He was able to schedule our job within the same week we called. He was running 15 minutes late and called to inform us of the adjusted time-line. When he arrived, he was pleasant and prepared. He listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, assessed the situation and determined a course of action. He was very honest and transparent. At no point did we question his motives or capabilities. The job was completed as described for the agreed upon amount. Karl went the "extra mile" and took care of details outside of the scope of the job. It is evident he takes pride in his work and cares about the customer. Karl did a very professional job and we will not hesitate to call upon him for future jobs.

Great!!! On time, spoke English, friendly...

Karl was courteous, professional and intelligent. It was a pleasure to have somoene treat me honestly and to explain what was going on with the electrical. I had first contacted another company to do the electrical but they coulnd't find the problem. My house is only 1 year old but turns out things were wired incorrectly and it was shorting out my washer/dryer and half of electrical in house. This could have involved tearing up wall etc. Karl comes from Chicago where work is unioned and he wasn't very impressed with the work done that had been done in my house and had actually passed AZ code, when done incorrectly. He found the problem quickly and the price was very fair, and was repaired in 3 hours. Highly recommened them.
