I set an appointment the previous week to get an estimate on converting a carport to a garage. I chose them because of reviews and history. However, when I called to confirm appointment this morning there seemed to be confusion as to which salesperson was scheduled for me. I was told there would be a two-hour window (appointment was 12-2 p.m.) with a 30-minute call when they were coming out. I called to ask how come I hadn't received a call since I had to get back to work, she said both men were not answering their phones. Either the person answering the phone (Veronica) may have messed up and not scheduled me correctly, or the salespeople both felt that the appointment they were at had more value than my job would. Either way, no phone call was received. I am soured on their customer service and why would I expect anything different once a job was started. I suspect they will respond with some heartfelt excuse as to why they didn't call or show up for that matter. First impressions count and I will be giving my money to someone else.

Awesome job! I think they found out on the job that it took more coats than estimated due to the dryness of my walls. However, they only charged for a few gallons of additional paint, not much. It was a surprising delight to work with them. And the crew themselves were very good. You can tell they painted in a superior fashion. They cut right up to the edges. They painted over a few colored walls that needed extra paint too. No brush marks anywhere. No missed spots anywhere either.

Well they showed up promptly to give us an estimate. We did not know they were an Angie's list member and when we told them we were, they would not give us a discount because we did not tell before the estimate that we were an Angie's list customer. They subcontracted the work out and did not supervise the work themselves. We had trouble communicating with the Spanish speaking workers. The work was not done as timely as they had promised. We had to reschedule our electrician because of this. The only time we saw Todd Whittaker again was when he wanted his pay. And he was prompt about that. We would never use them again, because they don't do any work. We would have saved money by getting our own dry wallers. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

It went extremely well starting with the initial visit from Todd Whitakker himself who looked at the worked that needed to be done. Called with an estimate when he said he would, followed by an e mail. No pressure was used to get the deal. He was extremely professional, polite and friendly as were all his staff including the guy who did the actual repair work. He worked very well, and tidied up when the work was complete.

It went perfectly! Todd, the office staff, and sub contractors are professional and easy to work with. All expectations were exceeded & even though the dry wall was cut, patched, & retextured; there wasn't a speck of drywall dust left behind. The bid was fair and workmanship exceptional. We definitely plan on using TWD for all our future projects.

The guy was very professional. The problem was I got through other bids after him, and his bid was double the other two bids. The bid itself was good, because he specified everything. When it comes to responsiveness, they emailed me and made sure about the bid.

Our water problems have apparently been fixed. We have had only one real storm to test the results, but TW did give it a thorough water test of their own and no water came in. This wasn't just a little dirzzle either. To their credit, they really tried to soak the area. One other thing I must mention. This company is persistent. It took them a couple of tries to stem the water, but they eagerly scheduled appointments and made return visit to get the job done right.

Overall, it went well. The estimator and designer were great to work with. Although there were some problems with an interim project manager (communication and sub-par workmanship), Todd Whittaker himself stepped in and corrected the issues by installing a new project manager, Eric, who was wonderful. He corrected all problems, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are very happy with the results.

Only thing I can say is excellent

Very conscientious of our particular needs. Most detailed quote we received and timely service. Very happy with worked preformed.

Their service was really good. I was very pleased with them. The workers were great. They got the job done in a timely manor.

The price was in the ballpark. They even even told us that fencing wasn’t their specialty. I will contact them in the future. They were really good with follow up.

Todd's crew had to troubleshoot the source of the noise and worked closely with us to assure that the "reset" was stable. they left the exterior wall open for several days, which was a good thing, since the vibration noise returned.They worked diligently with us and Autumn air to isolate the problem and to bring "quiet sanity" back to our family room. Workmanship was excellent. the crew was very professional. they stuck to their estimated price.

The cost to have the patio enlarged (10' by 13') was sky high and out of our budget. We decided to shop around for the cost of installing a pergolas or plant a tree like shrub in this area instead.

I am truly impressed by the work done by Todd Whittaker Drywall. Even the office staff was courteous and returned phone calls/emails in a timely manner. The workers listened to what I wanted and cleaned up everything each day. They even went out of their way to match baseboard and paint with no extra charge. Other than a slight miscommunication about scheduling that put the work into a third day, and an unsolicited "business opportunity" from one of the workers, I am very happy with the job they did.

The work was very good and the textures closely matched.

After contacting the courteous staff at the office, TWD sent someone to discuss what needed to be done and to work up an estimate. This person was very professional. Within a week, I had an estimate. Half of the cost was paid upfront. As soon they were contracted, work was begun. The craftsmen took great pride in their work. Being neat was an obvious requirement (and a matter of pride) with them. They cleaned up everyday as they finished. Tom Malafa came by or called his workers everyday to see how the work was progressing. As each project was starting, a discussion of what was to be done was reconfirmed with an input of new and better ideas--some we used and some we did not. When the old fireplace was torn down, drywall and paint people came by to rework any damage. Every day something was finished, so progress could really be seen. The mantel, cornices, and display cabinet were literally built piece by piece in the front yard. Jonas and Michael seemed really pleased with their work on the fireplace and book shelf, proven one day when they just stood back for several minutes admiring how well it turned out. We had Tom pick out a piece of marble for the top of the bookcase. Because they contracted with another company, there was a wait for the marble to be installed. After the marble was installed, TWD came back to fix some goofs the marble people had done. Three days later, the office contacted me to make sure we were satisfied. At that point, the last half of the charge was paid. This was our first experience with remodeling. It went so smoothly and has made such a difference in the way our home looks.

As part of my kitchen remodel project, I wanted to get rid of the useless window to create additional cabinet space, and the original build of the wall dividing the kitchen and living room had a section that didn't rise all the way to the ceiling, leaving a useless space above where a built-in pantry used to be. In just a little over three hours, Jonas had removed the window, blocked and framed everything drywalled, mudded, textured and cleaned up. He even accommodated my friendly, but a little too curious dogs. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work, Jonas' demeanor and professionalism and the end-result.

They came out to quote the project and the person coming out to do the quote was EXTREMELY helpful in making some determinations. For example for the hole I was placing in the wall I didn't want any doors right away but based on my conversation with him it is now the correct size that if and when I want to put in a double door I will be able to do so. The crew came out on schedule and where professional and compliant everything turned out exactly as planned and I am very happy with the result.

I called TWD for an estimate to stucco the inside of our fence. hey called back within 24 hours and set up an appt. to come out and take a look. They arrived on time and we reviewed the job and he took measurements. I received a written quote the next day I believe. They probably would have done a fine job but our budget was pretty tight and we are going with another provider.

I used their services and they are excellent. The last time I used their services was mid of last year. I had a lot of construction done at that time and a lot of people getting a lot of money, and I would say that out of all the things that I had got done they were probably per hour the least expensive as compared to the others. So, I would say that they were comparatively less expensive. I would like to recommend them to any and everybody. I would like to use them again if I had the need for their services. There was on little issue and they immediately sent somebody out to take a look at it, and had it redone. It was awesome working with them.

Our experience with him was really good. He did what we wanted in the allotted time. He came out when he said he was going too. The price had to go up a little bit but that was because of the stuff we ordered. He did a good job. It looked professional.
