Description of Work: Removed rugs/installed tile in living room/den/bedroom. Re-constructed outside covered patio, roofing & railing. Installing the tile was done very professionally, but the patio took some time due to mgmt. problems.

As per the original scope of work, the project was capable of being done within your requested time frame. However with your request of special order materials and additional scope of work that was not discussed or bid, it then was out of our hands to be able to complete on time creating a no-win scenario for our team. We respect your choice to cancel the contract as it was not a good fit for you or your project demands. We received your warning notice instructing us not to respond or that you would be posting additional bad comments about TWD. We were under the impression working with you on the estimates that we had the full scope of work covered that was requested, so we do apologize if that was not the case. Our records indicate the complete project with replacing doors, supplying and installing gorgeous bamboo and tile through the house with cork flooring in the bathrooms, painting the interior of the home complete, staining doors, supplying and installing new vanity tops in both bathrooms, along with the drywall, trim and water damage repairs needed totaled to just over $48,000. We hope that we were not confused with another contractor who did in fact come in at $60,000. You were a pleasure to work with over the few months that we were meeting with you during the bidding out of your project. We understand your position in getting these repairs made, and do wish you well in that process. We hope that you will keep us in mind for future projects. Respectfully, TWD

Description of Work: Todd was right on time to check out the site for my addition, was very thorough in his evaluation, told me he'd get me a bid by next Monday [5 days]. No word on Monday, and when we called were told the bid "might" be ready the following Monday. In the meantime I received bids from two other builders, both within a week. I have no complaint, but if he was too busy to figure a bid, how long would I have to wait to see my little addition completed?

For projects similar to yours, our process is typically to work with you (in this case it was with your son that owned the home) on the design phase of the job, so that we can then provide you pricing that is specific to that particular design once it is approved. We have found that doing this instead of providing a ballpark price to base the contract off of eliminates unnecessary change orders that the customer may not have planned in their budget. We had stayed in communication with your son, but we do apologize that it did not meet your schedule or if there was any miscommunication. We wish you well with your contractor of choice. We hope that you will keep us in mind if there is anything else that we can assist with.

Description of Work: I called for a design on a bathroom expansion,new windows and some small fix up projects around the house. The expansion proved to be more that we wanted to spend but we are still working on trying to find something workable in our budget. The windows and small projects were right where we wanted to be price wise so we went with those projects. We got a great LE window set as well as the full back slider door. The work done on everything was perfect and the people doing all the work were totally professional. I would recommend them to anyone, BTW, windows and doors are sealed well and gorgeous.
