Description of Work: Tub faucet fixed, outside spigot repaired.

Description of Work: I had called two other plumbers from Angie's List for estimates before I started my bathroom. The scope of the work entailed a new tub and shower valve being installed, two new hose bibs, a new main water shut off valve and reconnecting the main water line to the house, bypassing an old water softening system. The other two estimates were for 850 & 1200. Both were much more than I wanted to spend, so I decided to attempt the bathtub install myself and possibly the shower valve. I removed the old tub and surround, cut the drywall out to install the new tub and got it into place. Once in place however, the old overflow and drain didn't line up with the new tub and the shower valve was off center, so I came back to Angie's List. Tutko was the first name that came up on my search this time (I hadn't seen them on my previous search). Two guys came out at days end, AJ & Jeff I believe, and quoted a price of 500. In fairness to the other two companies, they quoted the work before demo had been done so it was easier for Tutko to see what exactly lay in wait for them as nothing was hidden behind walls. That said however, the scope of the work didn't change from the previous two estimates and no surprises were uncovered during installation. They arrived at 8 the next morning and had all the work completed by 11 am. They did a great job, and their work was very neat. I would use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I used Tutko Plumbing LLC. I last used their services about a year ago for plumbing services.

Description of Work: On January 12, 2012 we purchased two dual flush toilets from Lowes and a Lowes plumber came to install them. He had problems with one install, claiming that he could not get the toilet over a blue mounting ring in the floor previously installed by Tutko for the old toilet. He claimed it would cost $175 to fix. My wife called Tutko Plumbing to complain about the situation, and Tutko said they would come out, evaluate the situation, and if necessary install the toilet for free. Tutko plumbers did indeed come out and install our new toilet for free.

Description of Work: They replaced the inside water cut offs beneath all sinks and on the toilets in the house with easy to use quarter-turn cut offs (instead of the multiple turn on and off valves).

Description of Work: Jeff and his partner were on time. Got right to work. Were very pleasant and informative as to what you were doing. They fixed the problem and help fix a small problem from another plumber. They also gave me an estimate for another job that I need to have done at a later date.

Description of Work: Created a service loop in my incoming water service and a drain too the sewer line so I could add a water softener to my home. Jeff and AJ created a small opening in my garage drywall to access the incoming water service. In the same opening, they dropped a drain which went outside, underground, under the sidewalk and on to the sewer drain. I had purchased my own water softener at Lowes, and Jeff went ahead and hooked it up, ran the set up and added the salt!

Description of Work: Call Tutko on the afternoon of the 8th. and made appointment for the afternoon of the 9th. Jeff Gill showed up on time, assed the project and completed in a timely manner. The job was to replace two bathroom sink faucets and drains. Additionally he repaired toilet for the cost of material no additional labor.

Description of Work: We were redoing a shower and had all Kohler new fixtures in the shower. We also had it retiled. We had a problem with the pipe coming out of the wall and we needed a plumber. The pipe wasn't coming out far enough to mount the fixture properly.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink would drain very slowly and sometimes the other side (I have a double sink) would fill up. The guys came out and snaked the drain to remove decades of build up from the pipes.

Description of Work: After taking a bath in the master bathroom (first time filling the tub in a new home), the draining of the tub caused a backwash that started to flood the bathroom from under the toilet. Luckily it stopped once the tub emptied, but I still had drainage issues. The plumbers came in and snaked the drainpipe under the toilet and also the main drain through the roof. They explained that being an old house, tree roots had gotten into the line and they cleaned a lot of them out but more investigation would be needed. They recommended a course of action, but performed a quick fix for me that will help with better drainage until further work is done on the line.

Description of Work: The guys had snaked my drain the week prior to this, but it still drained slowly. The came back with a camera man and found the problem was at the City's main connection. They snaked my line some more with no additional charge and the City cleared their line.

Description of Work: Plumbing repair and replacement and drain cleaning

Description of Work: A cleanout in the sewer system in our condo community had collapsed 5 feet underground. A hole approximately 6ft deep by 4ft had to be dug to access the repair area. New cleanouts were installed and supported so that they would not collapse again.
