They did a really nice job. I had the 5 screens done. The windows fit beautifully and perfect. I actually took the windows into the facility. I plan on using them again in the future.

I have very mixed feelings about True View. If I had written this review the day after I placed the order, it would have been all A's, but the delivery and install didn't go so well. Here's my entire experience, you can judge for yourself. Initial visit to the showroom was great. Judd was a great salesperson, and we were very clear about a date that we needed the doors and window installed by. He guided our decision specifically towards products that could be ready by that date. We were so comfortable that we didn't put the date in the contract. Big mistake...They missed our date. When I called 3 weeks before the expected delivery/install, they told me they weren't expected until after my date. I explained that this wasn't going to work, and asked to cancel my order, which they refused without losing my 50% deposit. So I could either get a product that I wasn't that excited about, late; or cancel and lose a bunch of money. In checking with a contractor, they were shocked since these were apparently standard items that you could just get at any big-box store. I explained the situation to the scheduling person; said she'd try, but to no avail. There was also another miss, which was that I wanted a slightly smaller window (to be aligned with the top of the doors), but since they don't do framing, and that seemed to complicate the order (potentially extending my date?), this resize request got missed. I'm going to share blame with this one, but it worked out since I had to reframe anyway (see below). So they came out, after my date, to do the install. And they discovered the window frame (in my house) wasn't going to work because there was water damage. Now the most frustrating thing here is that the first sales person who came out to the house saw exactly where the sheet rock was collapsing, and he noticed the window was missing a protective layer. Neither he, nor the person who came out to do the measuring bothered to say "you might want to get that inspected or looked at to be sure there is no damage that could delay the install or might need to be repaired". You'd think that they've installed enough windows to notice drywall damage, or a missing panel on the bottom of the window, and advise accordingly. On the day of the install, after discovering the water damage, they suggested a firm to call, but I was a little surprised that there was nobody as part of True View who does these kind of repairs either (the last thing I wanted was to deal with another unknown contractor). I was able to arrange for a frame repair the next day with my contractor, but when I told True View this, I still needed to call them back to get rescheduled (you'd think the installers could at least "hold" a prospective time to come back since you don't want to have big open holes in your house). When the scheduling department finally called me back, they wanted to push my install out a week (which would have left me with a big gaping hole in my house for a week). I put my contractor on the phone (who was fixing the window frame) and he was able to get them to my house in 2 days. Having a giant hole in my house with children and a pool apparently got them to pay attention. Another detail -> when they installed one of the doors, they chipped my grout and then left an empty hole. I had to ask the installer several times to fill it. He didn't have grout and could only fill it with black caulk or clear caulk. He was very nice and polite, but didn't seem to understand that leaving a hole in my kitchen floor wasn't a professional thing to do. He filled it with clear grout, but it looks ridiculous. I can fix it, but I thought this is what you pay an installer for. The installers also seemed to take a long time to "wrap things up", the kind of "well....and...." that you see when somebody is expecting a tip. Maybe you are supposed to tip your installers, or maybe they were just being extremely meticulous/polite, but that's the impression I got. Maybe if they replaced my grout I would have considered tipping them. So overall, my experience was: * They missed my date. I then had a product that would not have been what I would have picked if I knew the date was going to be father out. * They missed the right size. - I'll take most of the responsibility for this, but not entirely. * They didn't pay enough attention to where it was being installed to advise whether or not there might be a framing issue. Two people who are supposedly experienced in this area didn't know enough -- even though they observed two problems -- to say "look under here". * They didn't fill in the cracked grout in the kitchen floor (saltillo tile). Didn't have anything and so it was "up to me". Sort of "too bad for you". I think the moral of the story is this: If you have a very specific and small install, shop around and if you go direct to True View, put any date requirements in the contract. If you have *anything* more than a small window or door replacement, you should use your own contractor who buys from True View (and/or other places). They'll get you a better price than you can get by yourself (2 of my contractors explained how aggressively they get the prices down from True View). Make sure your contractor has a date in the contract and has a team ready for any framing issues and the stucco and painting needs. I also know I overpaid. If I knew my date was impossible, I would have shopped around more or negotiated a better price, but you live and learn. Would I use them again? Not directly. I'd go through a contractor. I don't think individual customers matter enough to them.

On the first visit, the provider came and measured the broken window and provided an estimate. At that time, we paid for half the cost of service so that the window we needed would be ordered. The provider came back at our convenience to replace the window. He arrived at the expected time, took time to clean up all of the broken glass, explained the entire replacement process, and gave instructions on how to let the window set for 24 hours. It was quick, efficient, clean and the serviceman was friendly and courteous.

I called to set up service to have the caulk and door sweep repaired. I felt the bid was a little high and when I asked about it she said it was because they had to remove the door... ??? Not sure why. The first time I called they said they HAD to come and give a quote first and order parts after the look at it. Aren't those basic standard things a shower/glass company should stock in their office? This is for a second home so it was really inconvenient for me to do that as I prefer a one stop process. So after he came he said they would call with the quote. She did and I asked her to email it to me. Never got it. When I called again and she tried while on the phone with me she said oh it got sent back. Maybe when that happened the first time you should make and effort to call the customer back. So after she had the right address I got it. Tried to set up the 2nd appointment but they needed a deposit to order the supplies and then only after that (24-48 hour process) could they even consider making an appointment for me. Pretty disappointing that they weren't willing to work with me or even make an exception due to the lack of communication on there part. Not much of a A company if you ask me.

Their prices were very comparable and the best bid we received. We still have the same screens ten years later and they are still effective. They had great communication prior to my appointments and arrived on time. I even asked them to call and let me know when they were on their way so I could put my dogs out. They were very professional and completed the job in the allotted time. I loved them so much I called them back to replace a broken window. I am new to Angie's List and my service dates are older but I find myself looking for glass repair again and I found True View on here and decided I would give them my review. Three time is a charm and I look forward to working with them again.

True View is truly amazing. We had them make a couple simple glass covers for bedside tables and they did a fantastic job for a very fair price. So a couple months later, they seemed like the right choice for the our new bathroom shower. It is an old house with complex angles and walls that probably were not square 75 years ago, but the new glass fit perfectly and looks great. They are fast, efficient, and professional. We highly recommend True View for all your glass projects. Thank you True View!

I needed an emergency repair on a window sash that had come out and couldn't get back in. True View was very responsive to my needs and was able to send a repairman out the next morning. He arrived promptly and fixed the window. He even showed me how to repair it myself the next time as the window is missing a couple of key pieces that allow the sash to be re-inserted. I'd definitely use their service again.

True View offered us a very good price on replacing a large broken glass piece on our dining room table. They scheduled a time to come over to give us an estimate and to measure. Then they returned approximately one week later to install the glass. Everything went smoothly and we would definitely use them again. They were friendly and reliable.

Very well. Our window had been broken by a burglar. After a few calls back and forth to my rental company and back again to True View, they were on their way to repair the damage. Very polite and professional, even though it was emergency service with one of their on-call employees. Price seemed a bit high, but I honestly have nothing to compare it with. For emergency service, and the labor involved, its probably average. You generally get what you pay for, and I would absolutely hire them again.

The scheduler did not contact me as I was told. He says he called and left a message on Friday, but he never called or left a message. This delayed a time sensitive window install. The installer was awesome. He did the work in a professional manner and it looks great. I have used them in the past and never had a problem, but this time the scheduler did not work as he should have.

I had two broken glass doors, one being a sliding glass door the second was a half glass door (glass on top wood on the bottom). I called True View Windows based on recommendations from Angie's List. I spoke to Shelley when I initially called and she was excellent ! I gave her the dimensions of the glass and she quoted me prices which I accepted . She said scheduling would follow up and call me later. The next day someone else called me and proceeded to quote me prices that were $200 more them what was originally quoted on the phone the day before and I was told that my windows were dual pane and those were more expensive ( my windows were not dual pane). Then he said they were tempered glass therefore more expensive. I told him tempered glass was what was quoted to me. He said since it was his manager that gave me the prices he would honor them. A installer was sent out to measure my glass and the glass was then ordered. When the glass came in installers were sent out to install the new glass. Unfortunately the previous person measured incorrectly for the slider glass and the glass had to be reordered. Since the door had already been taken apart and the broken glass taken out I was left with a screen door no glass slider to secure my workshop. I was told they would do a rush on the glass order since it was their error. Another week passed and the glass finally came in ( certainly not a rush in my opinion) I spoke to someone in scheduling and asked if they could fit me in as soon as possible for install due to a measuring error on their part. I was told that just because there was an error doesn't mean he could make room for me in an already full schedule that week (a complete jerk). I was scheduled the following Sat ( 10 days after the promise to rush) I had asked for a quote to do another window that was broken near my front door hoping that the guys might have the the glass already on their truck since most of the problems seem to come from the department that does the scheduling and the pricing. (Apparently everything goes though corporate) I was emailed a price that was $50 more for a piece of glass that was almost half the size. I of course had decide I wasn't going to use this company anymore. I received a call from True View yesterday ( 2/4/2014) asking me if I wanted to install the glass for the final piece of glass. I told the guy not at that price, and that it was too expensive, i explained that they just installed a piece of glass that was twice as large for $50 less. I was told that glass pricing changes everyday and it was tempered glass that that cost more (all the previous glass was tempered glass as well) . I think that is complete BS ! Since when is glass comparable to precious commodities......... changing daily ????? I found that the guys that came out to install the glass did a great job. They were friendly, polite and professional. But the guys at corporate that do the pricing and scheduling were rude and unethical. Therefore I would NOT recommend this company. UPDATE: After posting my F experience with True View windows I received a phone call the next day from Shelley (manager) . We discussed my experience and she was horrified. She asked if I would give them another chance and she would like to replace my remaining broken window at no charge. I accepted, and the transaction went through normal channels of business to see how things would go the second time around. I am happy to say everyone involved was courteous, installation was speedy, and the workmanship was high quality. I really appreciate Shelley and true view windows for reaching out to me and and offering to remedy the situation. I believe most companies would have just moved on and not been concerned about "one" poor experience or rating (as you can see they have all "A" ratings until mine). I found Shelley to be honest and straight forward, and I respect that she wanted to make things right. I very much appreciate the effort and the work well done. Thank you!!!

Contacted True View and received an initial estimate. Was told that dual pane, low emissivity glass could not be done the same day by anyone. Later that day, Jeff (from True View) arrived, removed the broken window, measured the window for the replacement window and informed me that it would be approximately 5-7 business days to install the new window since they had to be custom made. a few days later, I received a phone call to schedule the install of the new window. Jeff showed up a few minutes early and installed the window. I was very pleased with the promptness, professionalism and workmanship by all True View personnel that I dealt with, especially Jeff.
