True View Windows and Glass

It turned out really well. We are very happy with them. Scheduling the service was easy. They were very professional, explained exactly what they were going to do and got everything accomplished. The tech that came was very personable and really a good person. They are a provider that you can trust and they are going to do what they say they will do and also explain everything.

A piece of the window trim popped out after 1-2 weeks, but vendor returned very promptly to rectify at no additional charge. I would use them again.

The large window on the back of our house was broken. I called three different companies for quotes. True View had the best quote and they were completely honest about the labor costs. They under bid the other companies by $150. Also, the glass came in sooner than they expected and came to fix the window as soon as the glass arrived to them. The repairman was polite, courteous, and efficient. True View also honored the Angie's List discount. We endorse this company 100%

The experience with True View could not have been better. I received quotes from three different companies. Their price was the best and they were very professional from initial contact to installation. I would definitely use them again!

True View Windows replaced the rollers in my sliding glass door. Two men came to do the job. They appeared to be very rushed and attacked the door with crowbars and a sledge hammer. When the door was replaced on its track, the weatherstripping was twisted. I mentioned this and the workman said it was due to heat and sun, he had seen several that way. I said that it wasn't in that condition before they worked on the door and suggested that maybe it became twisted when he had the bottom off the door. He told me he hadn't taken the door apart, only replaced the rollers. I again said it wasn't that way before he worked on the door. The workman began prying at the weatherstripping with a putty knife. After working at it a bit, he told his companion that the door would have to come out again. They removed the door, straightened the weatherstripping and replaced the door. My complaint is that the track is bent where they used crowbars, the finish on the door is scraped and marred from the sledge hammer, and although better than at first, the weatherstripping is not as it was before. The door certainly moves more easily, but it makes a scraping noise as it nears its full open position. I don't know why they were in such a rush. I feel that had they taken a little more time and care, they could have done a better job. I certainly will not call this company to work at my house again.

Have used provider for various jobs. Cost listed here is just for one window replacement. Have used them for other window replacements and for custom ground-corner glass furniture and table tops as well. I would recommend.

I called True View based on the many excellent reviews. The initial phone estimates were a bit hazy but once pinned down and compared to other window replacement companies, the prices seemed fair. Making an appointment for on-site measurements was easy. The technician was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable about window tint colors and about obscure textures for 2 bathroom windows. The technician spent much time making a paper pattern for a large arched window and accurately measuring a high, oddly shaped window. A week or so later, an appointment was made for the installation which required 2 technicians due to the size of the arch window. All went well with 3 of the windows, but the oddly shaped window was manufactured incorrectly according to the technicians. About one week later, the correct size and shape of window was ready for installation. All 4 windows now look gorgeous! In spite of a few minor problems, I would use True View Windows and Glass again.

I took off from work and they didn’t even show up. The department for scheduling was crazy and very difficult to work with. They were calling me all the time and said they could not find the right window. They were supposed to meet me at 2:00 pm and showed up in the morning at 9:00 am. The quote they gave me was $400 for the repair of the window and that was not including the installation and they were way too high. I felt I was not getting a discount. I am hoping to get a refund on the deal.

They were quick and efficient. It was an easy task and they did not make it difficult for me to facilitate this repair. They called me. They confirmed the appointment. They showed up on time. They finished promptly. They were gone.

My window installation was a horrible saga spanning several months. First of all, I did quite a bit of research to determine the type of windows that I wanted and to select 3 highly rated installation companies to bid on the job. One bid came out high, one bid came out reasonable (True View) and the third company just didn't bid because (I think) that they didn't have the desired products. So I selected True View. Well when the big day for installation came, the installation staff was prompt, and professional. But it was apparent early on that there was a problem with the job. Turns out that the window measuring person measured the windows incorrectly. So the very lovely semi-custom wood clad windows were on site but could not be installed because the openings in the block wall of my home were not the same size as the windows!!! My sales rep at True View did not respond to my call or emails and I was left hanging until a scheduler called for an appointment to install the replacement windows. Luckily the 2nd set fit but the patio door was missing the inside craftsman grid. True View blamed the manufacturer (Milgard) and I had to wait several more weeks for a Milgard rep to come and install the grid. The windows are very nice and I am satisfied with the quality. But I am sorry that I chose True View for the installation because I do not feel that the company portrayed an adequate level of regard for customer service. I was subjected to a huge amount of inconvenience due to their negligence, including having to take two extra days off work. Also, they sent me a email invoice for the balance of the job while I was still waiting for it to be completed. There was no discount or even an apology. I would never recommend this company.

Arrived on time. Did the work. Found a problem with the caulking and offered to fix no charge.

Had someone go out and measure for quote First quote they sent was the highest price of glass without offering a cheaper product which I did indicate I wanted when I called. They re-quoted and I agreed for work to start. I meet installer just after he finished and said, he installed one pane, I said what about the 2nd he said they forgot to measure and the quote didn't include it. Office said Oh we're sorry for the inconvenience. Will not recommend or use again.

Excellent to work with. Friendly and on time. Work quality was outstanding. Wish we'd replaced the old doors and windows sooner. Would recommend this contractor for anyone looking to replace old windows in their home.

Overall it went well. The price and value was very good and they were able to match my windows perfectly. Service wise, there were a few things they had to come back and change, but they remedied everything to my satisfaction.

The installation team of 5 people were here on time and started with out delay. They obviously knew what they were doing and with one exception, completed the job in one morning. One window frame was defective. It was temporarily installed and a week later replaced with a good window. A few days later a a scratch on one of the windows was buffed out, and that completed the job. All of the True View people acted in a professional manner, and used covers to protect the carpet while they were working. They offered to help move furniture and cleaned up before leaving. My wife and I are very happy with the installation and the new windows. We recommend True View.

I shattered the glass just before going on vacation and despite the short notice, True View got someone out to help me out. Unfortunately, their employee didn't have the right glass with him but he took measurements and identified what glass would be need along with making sure that the patio door would be secure in my absence. On the day of service, after my vacation, their employee was professional and courteous, despite working in the direct sun at around midday. He did a quick job in replacing the glass and did a nice job of tidying up too. I was very happy with the experience. As regards the price for service, I can't say whether it was great value or not but it was certainly cheaper than replacing the whole door. Overall, I was very happy with the service.

I am writing this on behalf of my friend who I recommended to True View. The first day out they installed her windows wrong they were sticking out and one drilled into the wrong area. it took almost two weeks to send someone out to fix them as they stated they were to busy and would not bump another client or come after hours. They came out a second time causing another day of missed work, the windows still not correct. A third appointment had been made another missed day of work. I myself even emailed the company and told them I was imbarrased for the type of work they have done and hoped they would give her money back or pay for her days missed from work. I was told they would take care of her. i also stated my sister was looking for new windows and I would not be sending her to them after the way my friend had been treated. Well we are up to three visits now things still are not correct so a forth visit is needed. The company has decided that they will not take anything off the price of the windows or pay for all the time missed from work. It is apparent that after two years since I used them their customer service stinks and they could care less of how they treat their customers or the work they do. i will never refer them to anyone and I hope people are warned of the situation so they do not make the mistake of going with this company since they do not back their work and have poor workers now.

From coming out and measuring, then installing these screens it has been an exceptional experience. I cannot speak more highly of this company and their employees. I had read on Angie's list how good they were, I must say they exceeded all my expectations. Great job True View I would highly recommend this company, and will do so to others in the neighborhood where I live.

I requested a quote, they charge to do an onsite estimate. When I gave an American Express credit card number for the visit I was told "no". I said I would pay cash. They said, 'uh no not on that one'. This is not what is listed as payment accepted. If you dont accept certain payment do not advertise that you do. It was not a friendly call.

It was fine. They did a good job. They came and fixed it. It was a good price.

Scheduling was very easy and there were many options for service dates. The first appointment was measuring and ordering of the replacement window. The service man was extremely nice and professional. A deposit was required to order the window of 50%, understandable for a special order window. The second appointment there was a slight communication issue between the scheduler and the second repairman. Taking into consideration the urgency of my situation, the driver returned to my house and replaced the window without incident. Replacement was clean and damage free to my frame. This is my third time using True View and they have been outstanding each time.

They scheduled a two hour window to meet us at the house. After waiting three hours we gave up waiting. There was no phone call explaining this no show. Very frustrating.
