True View Windows and Glass

Very easy to set up. They were easy to schedule and the process went smoothly. I would certainly use them again if the need arises.

Would not use this company again. Took 4 appointments to replace broken window glass. Each time, I had to take time off from work. Not good. First appointment was to measure and get estimate. Next two appointments the wrong size glass was brought. Third appointment, finally had the correct size, but there were small issues installing the glass. Each time the glass vendor was blamed for the incorrect measurements, and apparently this was happening too often. Customer service took the basic steps, but did nothing to convince me to use their company again.

They were on time, and did a great job.They even replaced the screen for me. Their office staff was very friendly and accommodating, and when I get them the window dimensions, they gave me the price right there.

It turned out fine.

The initial service call: They were careless in writing down the contact information. This led to a visit to a house that didn't exist and an email sent to a non-existent address. When they finally got it all correct, the did quality service. We would hire again but would be certain that the contact information was correct.

It took 6 weeks to get window manufactured. They had to come out twice as they did not measure on the first visit. This is a rental property so this was not optimal. Additionally, I was initially quoted a price of $595 for the one window. When I asked if there was a less expensive window I could order (this is a rental property), I was advised I was being charged an extra $100 as there was only one window and it cost more to make just one. Didn't make any sense. We finally negotiated it to $500. It appears the phone staff must make commission which seems just wrong. The only positive thing I can say about this company is the installation crew were very professional. Will not use this company again. Maybe if you are ordering an entire house of windows, but they are not the place to go for a broken, replacement, single window.

The two installers came out to the house right on time. They did take about an hour and a half longer than they originally said, but I was okay with that since they were being meticulous with their finishing work. Overall, I am very pleased with how they came out and the price was good too!

These guys did a great job! They were polite and took care not to damage anything. They were thankful that we put out sawhorses on the patio so they didn't have to lean the glass doors against anything. I'd use this company again in a heartbeat.

Awesome job! Guys were on time, did great job on install & also perform glass replacement (defect in original window noticed by tech during install) all on time and professionally. Would recommend to everyone I know.

After a recommended glass vendor recommended by my realtor did not show on their scheduled day, I called around providers I found off Angie's List. Price was right and appointment was perfect. A service provider who can accomodate your busy schedule and provide service on a public holiday means business and that is what True view is. Tech showed and was professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

I would not use this company. I called this morning to set up an appointment for someone to come look at our windows, and the girl on the phone wanted to give me a quote over the phone instead. This is annoying because then I had to go measure the window and try to describe what it looks like and what problems we are having. When I asked about replacing the window, she transferred me to another department, who then didn't want to help me and wanted to transfer me back to the first person. I ultimately hung up and will not be using this company.

Their coordination and communication was horrible. Did not call back when they said they would. Did not show up for weeks at a time. Did not ever even finish giving me quotes for 4 other windows I wanted replaced. The bill was very high in my opinion. Over $500 for a simple thermal pane window (no tinting) and a screen (approximately 3' X 4').

True View measured and installed glass shower doors and enclosure for three new baths at our whole house remodel. We had several bids. True View's technicians did a more thorough job of measuring and gave me better options for swing direction to make the most of the spaces. The install went well and work was done in professional and tidy manner. We've also used True View to repair broken glass at a condo. Would definitely use them again.

Work not yet performed as glass is being ordered. I will keep you posted but feel very confident that the work will be performed in a professional manner.

It started with the individual who came out to give us a quote. He was very professional and didn't try to talk us into anything that we didn't need. He answered all our questions and was very pleasant to talk with. The windows arrived and the crew that came out to install were very nice and very very good at there job. One one window the home builder did such a bad job framing the window but the crew was able to adjust for the issues and the window was installed beautifully and we have had no further issues with leaks and temperature control in that room. They did so good that we have used them several times now and will continue to use them to replace all the windows in the house.

Excellent service- checked the rest of the screens in the house and was able to straighten out and readjust and saved me from replacing them.

Bird broke one pane of a double-pane kitchen window. On Monday (day 1), I called for a quote. They could come out Wednesday to measure. Wednesday (an hour before their earlier indicated window), they came out and measured. Guy was thorough and polite. They would call with an updated estimate. When I hadn?t heard from them late on Thursday, I called. They sent it to the wrong email address. Mistakes happen. I paid 50% down. (They don?t take Amex.) Next Tuesday (day 9) they call to arrange to have the window installed: Thursday between 7 and 11am. OK, that's great. The next day someone else calls me to tell me that my order is backordered and someone will call me in about 48 hours to schedule installation. Does this mean the installation scheduled for tomorrow morning is off, I ask (after having already arranged to have someone cover the kids getting dropped off and rearranging a meeting, etc.)? Yep. Six days later (day 15) I get a call indicating that they should receive the window on Wednesday and be out to do the work between 11-4 on Thursday. Tech comes out on Thursday?friendly and professional. It requires that I end up removing (cutting off as it was frozen) the soap dispenser on the sink, but these things happen. In the end, it all worked out, but 18 days and missed signals made this way more of a pain than it should have been. Don?t mind paying well for good service, but this just ended up eating too much of my time. I can only imagine it would have been far longer if I hadn?t had a completely flexible schedule over these three weeks.

I called True View to do a replacement window at a rental property. As I do not live at the rental property, I asked that they call me 30 minutes ahead of our scheduled time so I could both meet them at property, and alert the renters that we are in route. I confirmed with the scheduler they understood this request. At 7AM on the day of service, I get a call from my renter saying they are at the location. Thankfully, the under 6 month old child at the location was not woken by installer, only everyone else at the property. True View failed to call me, them, or anyone 30 minutes before arriving, or even 5 minutes before arriving. In hope to still gather information, I get in my truck and head over. I find True View waiting, where I am told I don't need to be there and he is done. I explain I had questions about the service, what is there, what needs to be replaced and such (as I need to explain to the previous renter why their deposit will be short the difference from their sub par previous replacement), which the installer answers as quickly as possible. When I speak to True View, they explain to me that the first appointment of the day generally doesn't get a call in route, which I explain is something that would have been valuable to share with the customer before just showing up. True View's inability to listen to a simple request, or set a reasonable expectation for service, is why they will never get my business for my personal home, rental homes, or other businesses.

Good - replacement was good and technician knew what he was doing. Poor - Estimator took the day off when I was supposed to get my estimate and no one contacted me. When I called, they did sent the technician out within a few hours to provide an estimate. I asked if there was an Angies' list discount when the window was measured and was told no. This listing has $25 off so I lost my discount!

We were very impressed with the service provided from start to finish. The company was able to provide a quote estimate by phone and then came out quickly to take measurements and solidify the quote. After that they were able to obtain the window replacement and install it in less than a week. The installation went very well and a superintendent for the company came by shortly after to inspect the work done and make sure we had a good experience. We live on a golf course so we will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend their services to others.

They worked hard to evaluate the situation, come up with a plan and ensure it was done safely and correctly. The price was reasonable and the work was exceptional. I have my dream bar and they have a loyal customer.

Provider originally quoted a price and sent a technician. Job required two people instead of one, provider rescheduled the job with two people but held the original price. The repair has operated very well.
