+ -1 moreTechnician arrived on time. He explained that he would take our screens to the shop and return in one week with the new screens. We also have a stained glass window with a broken section of glass. He gave us an estimate and took our panel with him to be repaired. Same technician returned our screens and glass panel. Screens and panel fit perfectly .
Description of Work: Replaced 5 screens that were damaged in the hale storm.

+ -1 moreNeeded to have the beading replaced on my french doors. The guy came out and said that these doors look like Anderson and they do not do Anderson. He thought maybe the shop might have a beading that would work and hesitantly called the shop to inquire. The guy on the other end was just as excited to offer assistance. They were unable to help me.

He cleaned up the area he worked in and left things better than they were before he came. Price was very reasonable so I asked about other types of services available. + -1 moreSee above. The gals that both my wife and I spoke to on the phone were very pleasant. Maybe all they needed to do is get rid of the first guy that measured the windows before they sent him to our place. I do feel bad that they lost money on our job.
Description of Work: We ordered 1/2 screens as advertised. Someone measured all (but 2) windows wrong, so the screens didn't fit (except 2). The next guy measured for 1/2 screens (which we would have rather had) but his "boss" told him that with the type of windows we have that they could only provide full screens--even though we think that the neighbor across the street had the same company provide 1/2 screens. The problem with having full screens is that you can't even wash 1/2 of the window w/o removing the screen. I guess it worked out okay, but they lost a lot of money on the job as they made quite a few screens than didn't fit. They seem to be honest, but this points out that if you don't pay the fee to have them do the measuring, you might be stuck with screens that don't fit, unless one can measure better than their non-employee handyman can. (I have no idea of the actual date of service!)

+ 1 moreTroy came out to evaluate which windows had lost their seal or were damaged. He was very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The estimate for the work to be done was slightly higher than other estimates I received, but True View matched the lower estimate. The men who performed the job were punctual, friendly and did a great job. The windows look great and I am very happy with their service.
Description of Work: Majority of glass units replaced in the house and torn screens replaced. Four windows with complete replacement.

+ 0 moreWe had a window in our bathroom with a broken seal. It is a pretty large window (5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, all one piece). True View came out and replace the pane of glass, but after installation we realized there was a tiny imperfection in the glass on the inside of the two panes. They came back a week later and replaced the glass panel again. Great service!

+ -1 moreEstimator came to house to measure glass and give me an estimate. He showed up on time and was professional. This was a double pane and a new window had to be constructed by True View windows and glass. The new window was constructed on schedule and the installer showed up at my home on time. The installer was professional and friendly. My home is a stucco home and I was concerned about damage to my stucco during the process of removing the old window and installing the new one. However, the entire process was much more simple than I thought and there was zero damage to my stucco or to my home. The actual installation took less than an hour and the installer did a good job of clean up when he was finished. I did a lot of research on window companies that did replacement work and True View showed up as a company that I could trust. After having them do actual work at my home, I would agree that the company is very professional, they show up when they say they will and did precisely what I expected with regard to quality workmanship, quality installation and quality product. I would use this company again, without hesitation.

+ 1 moreThey were very responsive, worked with me by phone to list all my needs, emailed estimates, reviewed those with me as needed until we were clear on the scope of work. I eliminated some items (such as sunscreens) to make the order fit within my budget. Then an estimator came to my home to measure and go over the list with me again. We scheduled, and within 2 weeks their technician came back for the install. One window panel didn't fit, so they came back a few days later to finish. It was almost flawless, and certainly painless. They were a great crew to work with. I remember Adam in particular finishing my install, as he was so professional and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: We bought a foreclosure last year and some windows were craked, all were missing bug screens, many were very hard to operate, and the lock in the back sliding glass door was busted. True View replaced a window panel, replaced rollers on others, installed new lock on sliding glass door, new bug screens on all windows and installed a brand new retractable screen for my big 8' double entry doors.

I then called and let one of the girls know how the job was left and she said that she would be getting back to me the next day. Well Three days later I had to again call them for them to tell me that the install guy told me the glass was there and to vacuum it up. NEVER NEVER NEVER was that said. I would never do business with this company again. I would advise you all to do the same.

+ 0 moreAfter the lawn mower sent a rock sailing through a living room window on Saturday, I was worried that it would cost and arm and a leg to fix and that it would be days before it was completed. After finding a $99 repair deal for True View, I called to see if it was all inclusive for what I needed. Since it was a weekend, I was put in touch with the on-call technician within a couple of hours. He said the cost would be $355 for emergency service (the deal could not be used) but was unable to quote me on the price during normal business hours. I decided to wait and call Monday morning and by Monday afternoon, I had a new window in place for a total of $99. I highly recommend True View.

+ 2 moreI had 3 windows installed (that do not slide without scratching the window) and 1 set of french doors that i was never sold a handle to and had to attempt to do it myself with 102 degree fever. (and failed at) don't use them! especially Greg dilley!!!! :(
Description of Work: If you are under 30 years old please read this: The company and espsecailly the sales man Greg dilley will treat you very poorly. If you are over this age I except they will take you seriouly. I am only 23 and I am in my first house, and theses are the first window people I have ever had, so I may be a touch over zeolous. I execpted to had the sercive done in one day but a week later and I dont had a door nob handle on my new new becasue the sales man never sold me on. Nor did he ever give me anything on what the door looked like or that the handle was not included. I told the installers this and they say that they where no given a handle so they could not install one. I told the sercive staff to sell me one or I will just buy one myself and they told me to do that. I have no idea how to do that so I called them another day to which I still have not response yet. The windows are fine, but not the best the installer himself told me the windows are not that good, to my face! He says the latch on the window that opens and closes will scrach the window itself and there is nothing I can do about it. The brand new 1500.00 french doors have 3 cracks in them and the sales again screwed me in not telling me the new door was an inch shorted than the sliding glass door that was there so the installer had to scramble and fill in with chalk and a new pieces of molding. Overall PLEASE JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THESES PEOPLE DONT CARE ABOUT YOU only about your money, because the only person to call me and check if it was done right was the billing lady, who could care less. I paid 3000.00 to learn not to trust people; that is the only good thing to come from this slow ( the installation of 3 windows and 1 door took 8 HOURS) company.

I called True View because they were at the top of the ratings lists and had a special coupon for glass replacement installation. The employee I spoke to on the phone to schedule the work estimate and measurement was extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with. I do not remember her name but she is probably the greatest influence on my decision to continue with True View. The gentleman that came to the house quickly assessed the work required and took measurements. They came back on the day they scheduled with the new glass and did the installation. The installation probably took 30 minutes at the most. I would recommend them and use them again. I will actually be contacting a different department within True View for window upgrades. I was very pleased with their work.

The screens fit nicely and I could not believe how easy the screen doors work compared to the old ones that were replaced. I plan to use them again to replace the rollers on the heavy sliding doors soon.

+ 0 moreThe two windows were replaced with no nonsense, muss or fuss. I called. They came and estimated, replaced and billed all in a timely manner. We also discussed different glass and their insulation properties and what it would cost to replace more glass with tinted glass. In the end, I just had the glass replaced, as is. They did not oversell as I requested the quotes and there was no pressure at all.
