True View Windows and Glass

THE PRICE AND QUALITY WERE GOOD BUT IT TOOK ABOUT 3 WEEKS FROM THE TIME I CONTACTED THEM UNTIL THEY INSTALLED THE WINDOW GLASS.

Contact was very difficult. Two separate appointments were set up. The company did not show up for either. I got my money back.

Except for the two individuals that showed up at my house to take measurements of the windows with their kind introductions the total experience with this company was like working with Clown College failures! It started with a purchase of two new bug screen special on Angie's List in Phoenix. I contacted the company by e-mail to set up a date for the service on an older home purchase with brand new energy-saving windows. I was told by the rep in a return phone call that the over $200 'special' did not include the almost $100 measurement of the windows. I was dumbfounded at the price to measure six windows. (there were 10 screens but 4 were the exact same screen on other windows) In other words: It costs almost $100 dollars for 8-10 minutes work of measurement. Now in my case the TECH brought along a trainee to take up much more time than was necessary. I asked for a price for sun screens while they were at my house and after I got the price I decided I did not wish to go bankrupt; so I turned down the building of sun screens. But I get ahead of myself; the rep in the office on the other end of the phone that was, I guess speaking for the OWNER, Natalia@trueviewaz.com Natalia M. Customer Service Specialist (later e-mail of 11.15.12) was just unbelievable. I informed her that the screens were for a new house purchase but she insisted that I could only be given a FOUR HOUR WINDOW for the techs to show up almost a month away for a 7 December appointment. I informed her that I find the service of this company totally not customer friendly and told her I was not going to sit at an empty house for four hours waiting for the techs just to take measurements on outside windows. She then said 'three hours." When the techs showed up they stated that they had a NOTE that I was not happy with past contacts with the company (DUH) and stated they were sorry. NOTE: They showed up at 0730, at the start of the working day; not during some 4 hour window. After the screens were made about four days later, I drove the 20 miles to pick them up and waited inside the business front door for 8-10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk before I started to just walk around the inside building to see if anyone was, what looked like the brand new building/office. I was asked after standing behind four people on phones for about one minute if I could be helped, I informed the gentleman of my pick up order and I was provided my new bug screens after about two minutes. In how many businesses can people just walk around a business or stand next to people 'working' the phones and not be asked immediately what they want? This is one! If you ever do any business with this company: 1. Expect huge charges for measurements & delivery above and beyond any Angie's List 'Big Deal' price and 2. Expect to wait forever at the front door for service if you do not wish to wander around the building 'looking' for someone to help you. If the people on the telephone are 'speaking' for the owner/manager; I wish this company 'good luck' in the future. OR If you like paying almost $100 just to have a few windows measured for bug screens; you will love this company. The bug screens actually worked and fitted well. Very Respectfully, Lt I. G. The customer is not "RIGHT" with this business, the customer is 'our way, our time-table, our high prices or the highway.'

They were great and everything came out well

I sent True View an email on Sunday and received a call early Monday morning. They were very friendly and helpful. I gave them the measurements for my window and they provided a quote over the phone. Brennan and Ben arrived the next day to take measurements and assess the window. They were very courteous and provided all details for the replacement process. The next day I received a call from the office giving me the estimate and received an email confirmation of the estimate a few hours later. True View provided excellent service from the first phone call to the completed installation. My total cost was $255 (includes Angie's special rate) to replace a foggy window. I would definitely use this company again. They provided excellent customer service and performed all work on time.

Our experience was not a good one. Our overall grade is a ?C?. We took one letter grade off for missing our ?need by? date and another for the poor communications. The project was to replace exterior sliding doors in the master bedroom with French doors that had privacy glass. The once exterior doors are now interior. We requested that the doors be installed before 10/31, the day our first guest was expected. We did get a call stating the doors would be installed on a Monday, the 29th. The Friday before the 29th we got a call confirming a Monday morning install. About the time we expected the installers, we got a call informing us that the doors were not in and therefore the install would not take place that day. They couldn?t install before our guest arrive 2 days later. After the install, we had more work to do than we were led to believe. The trim on both sides, inside and out, had to be moved inward by more than an inch which meant that we had to do some repair work and painting to the walls. As of this writing, we have not heard from the company ? we expected someone to follow up and ask about the process and our satisfaction.

We purchased a bank owned home that had sunscreens on every window, but was missing some of the bug screens for fall/winter use. After purchasing the deal on Angie's List, I was promptly contacted by the company. I took the persons advice to have their technician come out and measure, rather than relaying my measurements to them. By choosing this option they guarantee them to fit. This was important, because they did need to make a few adjustments on the finished product. I don't know if it was a measuring error or manufacturing error, but it was no problem, they remeasured and got them just right. We have now had the screens for over a year and have been very happy with their durability. I would not hesitate to use True View again in the future.

I sincerely believe that this was nothing but a bait and switch scheme. When I contacted them, they said I had to take down the screens and bring them in. They would then make the sun screens and when they were done, they would call me and I could come and pick them up. Of course, I could get them to do more but it would cost me extra! I COULD DO THE SAME THING AT THE LOCAL HOME DEPOT!!! I call Angie,s list, canceled the payment and got a refund.

They scheduled a measurement appointment. A few days later, they called to schedule the replacement and gave me the total cost on the replacement and the additional cost of the sun screens that we asked for. They showed up right on time and gave us a heads up phone call about 30 minutes prior to the repairman showing up. Total time was only about 45 minutes. Everyone was courteous, clean, and professional.

They came out, measured the double pane window and ordered the pieces needed. The following week, the glass came in and it was installed. They were clean and professional. The company, always calls ahead to make sure I am home for the service.

They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They had answers to all of my questions and I would gladly use them again if needed.

The supplier lost my order and True Windows did not realize until I called. It ended up taking about a month to finish. I was just unhappy with their service, because I feel like they should have realized the mistake.

measured my windows in one visit, came back a couple weeks later to install and had the wrong size. And wrong size by a lot. Had to wait an additional week or so. They never gave me an invoice or printed receipt and when I called to ask them to email me one they acted a little rude about it. Which made it even worse because when I went to pay the final bill they had calculated it very wrong- were going to overcharge me by over one hundred dollars. job was done fine eventually, but it was a frustrating process. Seemed unprofessional to not have an invoice and then still get the wrong billing amount. Employee never made me feel sure that my windows had failed (in regards to the double paned)

Great group of people. Thy measured all my windows and built brand new bug screens. The finished product was beautiful. The tabs to remove screen are on the inside for security. what an innovated idea. Price for the quality of product was extremely reasonable. I am going to have them come back this summer to do all the sun screens.

True View was reasonably priced (especially with my Angie's list discount that they offered). They were neat, professional and punctual.

I have used them several times over the month. They replaced 5 double pane window glasses that had failed seal. 10 bug screens and a window balancer. I went to their show room first and they looks like a good sized, well managed company. So I bought some big deals from AngiesList.. They sent a teachincian quickly to take a measurement of windows and bug screens and about a week later, they got window glasses and bug screens ready and came to installed them. They also cleaned the glasses after the installation. Everything went smoothly. I was very happy with their work and immediately ordered some more work from them. When David came to toke the measurement for the 2nd order, he was so knowledgeable and kind. I asked him about a shrunk black window rubber seal and he just replace it immediately for free. Overall they are very professional, responsive and their price are very reasonable and I'll definitely use them for my future window and glass needs.

When I first called to set up an estimate appointment, I talked to Taneaka York. She informed my that True View charges $55 to come to a house to do an estimate. I felt that that this was unreasonable. Freelite, 5-star, NewPane, Lowes, Home Depot and several other outfits who gave me an estimate didn't even think of charging me for coming to my house. After speaking with the manager, they agreed to drop the $55 charge. They gave me a time frame of when they would arrive to my house. Unlike the aforementioned contractors and companies, True View gave me a 3 hour time frame. The other companies committed to a much more convenient, specific time frame. They were scheduled to arrive between 1 pm and 4 pm. David Stout arrived at 1:50 pm. Unlike the other aforementioned companies, David was there just to measure. He was unable to provide any technical information regarding the types of windows they typically carry - and as he put it - 'I am here to measure.' David further explained that a salesman would call me later. . . . I am curious if they would try to charge me another $55 just to see the different window options. David was polite, professional, and kind to my pets when he arrived; however, True View set him up for failure by asking for a $55 estimating fee and by not giving him the tools to adequately discuss a potential sale. I do not recommend True View and one has to ask "why would you even bother picking a company that would try to nickle and dime you on an estimate visit"?

this service was prompt,courteous and a good value. I would recommend.

Called for 99 dollar special to replace our front window that was broke by our dog Sable. Company responded to our request quickly and were out the next day to replace the one pane. We also decided to order a entire new dual pane window for that same window because the price quoted was very good. 3 weeks later which is exactly when they promised they were out installing the new window. Very smooth and easy company to work with highly recommend.

Very well. They left the house clean and I cannot tell the difference between the old and the new window. I am satisfied with the service.

the guy was very nice ..put in the new window..but had to step on my dresser to put it in..it was not until a week later { this the guest room, not used often ]..that I notice a shoe print on my dresser and scuff marks on my rug and tiny bits of glass on the rug......I had to leave on a trip soon after and never cotacted the co again..which was my fault. I still can't get the black scuff mark off the rug.. I have to say the guy that did put in the window was very nice..I should haved supervised the job more carefully Diane
