True View Windows and Glass

My landscapers broke a tempered glass window in my bathroom. I called in four vendors to bid this window replacement. One of the first places I called was a large Home Improvement Co. here in the valley that everyone goes to at least probably once a month. I have had good results from them in the past for Hot water tank replacements, Garage door etc.. Imagine my surprise when the window estimator showed up and told me that this bathroom window was " the absolute worst window" to hit in the house, because it was tempered, etc.. and because it was comprised of two windows in one frame, the second arched window above it was also going to have to be replaced total for both windows..... $1500!!! I thanked him and he left. True Views estimator arrived.. looked at the window, quickly told me that the arch above did NOT have to be replaced, and my cost would be $320. HUGE DIFFERANCE. I had two more bids that were within the same ballpark, but True View had the best bid. I arranged to have them replace the window and was most anxious to get it done, as I was flying out at noon on the earliest day of installation. They understood that concern, and the installer was there exactly at 7:00 a.m. the morning of my flight. He did the work, quickly efficiently , we had a nice chat while he did the work, he was done within an hour and gone. They did such an excellent job and because they were so honest and fair, I also had them replace all the windows on a Club building at a large property that I manage. They preformed that job, equally well and so much so, that my Maintenance Supervisor came to me and asked me where I found them, as they were so good. Sadly, a vendor who comes in and does their work quickly and professionally is the exception rather than the norm. I responded.. "Angies List" I am a 37 year Property Manager and I manage normally $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 in construction projects annually. When I have vendors in my home, I sit back and observe.. they have no idea of my background. I typically find that there are vendors out there that have 'special pricing' for women. So I encourage everyone to always get multiple bids and do your homework and let them know you are getting multiple bids. Anyone who comes in and tries to charm you, flatter you etc.. almost always follows up with a bogus bid. This will happen all to often when women get vendors to bid something. Fortunately True View is a company you can call and not worry about.

They called 30 min prior to arrival,arrived within appointment window. Technician was nice guy professional. The bill came to $185 seemed steep so I called the main number and was told window repair for 1 window was $185, doesn't matter that it only took 15 minutes to do the repair,no parts, so apparently the cost will be the same if repair takes 5 minutes or 2 hours. Also was not quoted a price when I made the appointment, my bad for not asking but $185 for the call and a 15 minute repair seems a bit much so if you have major repairs might be a good deal but for simple stuff way overpriced.I usually don't like to participate in one fee covers all seems that easy jobs subsidize more difficult ones I prefer to pay for the job I need done.

It went very well. They were very professional and did an excellent job replacing the window. It was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. It's nice to be able to look out the window now.

True View came out and measured the window. Very professional. Came back and installed perfectly. Great service. Would definitely use them again.

It was good. I may have spent $10 more for an extra service that wasn't included. The were really good. The first time they came out to deliver some of the screens, I think one or two of them didn't fit right so he took it back and redid the whole thing which I was really happy with. They didn't try to force something that doesn't fit.

I initially called for a quote and had a field tech (Adam) come out the next day. Adam was prompt, courteous and professional in his assessment of my window and he informed me of the process and the time it take to order the window, receive it and then replace it. The quote was fair and compared to the other companies, the interaction and technology they use to email quotes, write down notes/directions and their professionalism was the reason why I chose TrueView. The other companies I contacted for quotes seemed like they already had enough business or they were uninterested or simply rude or outrageous with their quotes by 200+ dollars. Once Adam measured my windows, I called the home office and gave them my credit card number and paid in full to get the process started. A few days later a scheduler called and set me up with an install date. On the day of the install, the installer showed up on time, replaced the window and cleaned up well. Overall it was a great experience from a company that lives up to their great reputation.

It turned out really well. They scheduled it right after my purchase of the big deal. I would recommend them. The work did meet our expectation.

Actually I wasn't there, they dealt with my husband. They came and measured, and recommended my husband a window. Amazing, awesome. Once we stuccoed it was fine. Everything was fine. They did clean up, but not to my husband's liking. I think there was Styrofoam, I really wasn't out there to see.

Prompt professional estimate. The estimator answered all my questions and made additional recommendations. The day the window was schedule to be installed the technician arrived on time and installed the window even while encountering a difficult install situation.

The service turned out pretty good for us, it was just a little expensive. I had purchased a big deal and they charged us extra because they had to match the windows. I was dealing with them long distance because I was in Arizona and they were in Washington and so I was happy about that.

The service was great. That was in my rental house. They did great. I give them A’s in every category. They were prompt, affordable, and did a nice job. My tenant was happy.

It seemed to take a bit to long after they ordered the window and got back to us about installing it. We are moving out of state, so I won't be using them again, but I would say give them a try if you need this type service. Just clearly state your timeframe to them.

It went wonderful and we were really happy with them. I would recommend them to others. I think they are very trustworthy.

They were punctual, professional and provided exactly what was needed to repair the window. We were quoted a price that we knew was going to be a bit high, but we needed the window replaced as soon as possible. A reasonable amount of time elapsed between the time they came out for the estimate, ordered the window, and installed it. I wish all contractors would take some lessons from these people. Everything went so smoothly, it made it much less stressful for us.

They were excellent. They came on time, they did a good job. They were courteous, very professional. I recently moved and wished I could have brought those windows with me.

The guy came out near the end of May measured the windows and came back approx. 1-1/2 weeks later with both the window and the screen, both fit perfectly. The installers were fast, funny and professional, they were a pleasure to have in my home and I am thinking of using them again to replace my sliding doors.

My initial appointment was very very frustrating because I was giving a 4 hour window. Then at the 4 hour mark I was called and told the technician would be here in a 1/2 hour. I told the girl that he has 20 minutes to get here or forget my business. Daryl was the technician that came and apologized telling me that the girls in the office should have told me that they will call a 1/2 hour before they arrive so you do not haft to wait around. Daryl was wonderful the first time he came to measure my windows as he was going outside he saw that my sliding glass door was sticking and told my they could fix it. He has been to my house 3 different times for all I had done. Nice to see a familiar face and not have to explain things again. My windows are perfect my back door opens like butter and my home is much cooler no hot rooms anymore.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for True View Windows and Glass. They did more than they were originally going to do. They came right on time. We're happy with them and would recommend them.

These people are really top notch: - 15 minutes after my initial phone call they had an estimate emailed to me. - The technician (Jeff Kinsey) was outstanding. He was spot on time and the job was completed in just over an hour, which is what I expected.

The service was fine, they did a good job and everything worked out fine. There was some confusion in the billing with the Big Deal, they were not sure how it worked. It did not cover my windows so I had to pay an additional amount, it was confusing and I was surprised I had to pay more. They did a good job.

The work was done very well and professionally. The people who serviced us were great, did a good job, and were timely. The only issue with this provider is the extreme difficulty in understanding how their $99 replacement price works, and what the true costs are. You pay more than $99, but it is still a good deal, and a better price than I was quoted elsewhere. Maybe its just me, but I had to call three or four times to be sure I understood how this pricing promotion worked. I got different stories from different people I spoke with at the firm, so they clearly don't have this part of their act together. Having said all the above, with the exception of the extremely confusing pricing mechanism, I had a good experience, and would use them again. Anyone who considers using their services should do their inquiries carefully and thoroughly to be sure they have proper understanding of what they will be charged.
