Triple "J" Lawn Service, LLC.

This was a true case of finding as new solution for an old problem. I needed my property cleared of brush and weeds from the Winter rain season and because my previous gardener had not done the work as promised. I got 5 quotes ranging in price from $800 (if I would agree to a monthly service of $350/mo), to over $3500 for the job. Everyone said that the weeds had to be removed by hand and that it would require a large crew and may take 2 days. Jaime had an idea and wanted to try it. He suggested getting a machine and using it to pull the weeds. He wanted to rent one, but ended up buying the machine. He was determined to find a solution for such a large yard that was affordable and repeatable and he wasn't going to give up. He called on June 1st to tell me that he had purchased the machine and wanted to come over and try it out on June 2, 2016. If it worked and I was pleased with the results, he would do the yard for $800. He came over and after adjusting the height on the machine, it pulled all of the weeds better than if they had been done by hand. We agreed that he could start on the yard immediately. In about 3 hours of him riding around on what looked like a riding lawnmower (it wasn't a riding lawnmower), he had the entire yard done- front, back sides and down to the street. He had one helper who picked up the debris and he was finished and gone in a very short time. He did not need to hire a crew which saved both of us time and money and I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars to get a very big job done. A win-win for everyone. He was professional, dedicated and a perfectionist in making sure that the yard was perfect. This is the person you should use. I will be having him do my yard from now on, including trimming my trees.

Jaime did a great job for an affordable price. He showed up for a quote on the same day I called him, and we set up an apt for a week later. He was prompt and fast, but did great work. I paid him to trim my giant, overgrown pepper tree, install a new sprinkler system in the backyard (the sprinkler lines were already run but the unit didn't work anymore), and repair a leak under the concrete. He also fixed some leaking sprinklers for free :). They cleaned up really nicely afterwards, and my yard actually looked better than before they came since they blew all the debris out, not just theirs but all of it. I have already called him again for my next project!!

I called Triple "J" on Wednesday morning the week before the work was done. He was able to come by at the end of the day to give me an estimate. Mr. Bernal arranged to come back the following week. Starting the day before, he called keeping me informed as to when exactly he would appear. He showed up on time with one other person and immediately went to work. The work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. I will definitely call him back to do more work.

Jaime is so professional, polite, texts before coming and the men working with him super polite and nice. They do a great job over all and if they miss things I tell Jaime and he always fixes it. He is great with knowing things about different plants and the watering system. First group I really trust to be there when they say they will and do a great job!!!!

Jaime contacted me the day before the scheduled date to confirm the appointment. They arrived on time and did a great job trimming the trees and cutting off all the broken branches. They cleaned up everything before leaving.

I was very impressed with their service. They were prompt, had great communication letting me know about the scheduling and what time they would arrive. The brush and branches were cleaned up and removed and then they blew off the patios after they were finished leaving the property very clean. I would definitely use them again.

Jaime is very easy to contact and calls to confirm service appointment. Service is punctual and professional. Triple J has been a definite upgrade over our previous lawn guys. I would use again and recommend to others.

Paid for 4 man hours of tree service. They proved three men for 80 minutes each, which was fine. Trimmed one Palo Verde tree. In the last 20 minutes one of the workers asked me if they could pile some of the clippings at the curb for City of Phoenix pickup. I had not checked on the pickup schedule prior to the service as I expected them to haul everything away. When i checked Google it said that I could get a pickup on demand, but when I called the City I was told that the on demand service had been proposed, but never passed. So now I have a huge pile of greens in front of my house with no pickup scheduled for 3 months (missed the pickup by one week). I called Triple J to let them know the situation and they are happy to come out and get the material for another $80. John told me that if I hadn't agreed to have the excess put at the curb they wouldn't have been able to do any more trimming. He didn't have an answer when I asked him what he would have done with the extra time I had paid for. While I understand that they have to make a special trip back for the pickup, I am not happy that I was put in this position to begin with. Unfortunately I did not look at the truck to see how much debris they actually took with them, but I'm happy to send you a photo to show how much was left behind. Getting the pickup has not been without frustration. I called Monday morning and was told they could come Monday or Thursday. I said I couldn't be home with a check in time on Monday. I called Thursday and was told "sometime next week", which was not satisfactory. They gave me another number to call and that guy said they would be out at 6 AM on Saturday the 19th. I told them I would put a check under the mat as I would be gone for the night, so we'll see what happens tomorrow. I feel that I should not have to pay extra to have the tree cuttings removed. I think these guys got in over their heads. I used a similar service about 2 years ago and they brought a chipper which made fast work of the debris. Triple J appears to be a lawn service masquerading as a tree service. In addition, I scheduled for Saturday, September 12. I got a call at 9:45 the night before to let me know they were coming between 6 and 6:30. I feel that is late to be calling anyone.

Arrived on time. Completed tree trim. Subsequent review by an arborist revealed trimming at inappropriate places. Need to have a retrim to appropriate branch nodes.

"Jay" called several days prior to the appointment to set the time. The "boss" (Jaime) and another worker came exactly at the appointed time. Both worked diligently and did a great job. They did exactly as promised. They cleaned the debris and left the yard in good order. I will use them again.

They called a day ahead to let me know when they were coming. Jaime and another gentleman showed up to do the work. They were very courteous and professional. They trimmed three different trees including a large carob tree and did a great job. I had a special deal through Angies List for two hours of work with two workers and they stayed the full time period. I would definitely use them again.

The clean-up job was done very well. All the overgrowth was removed back to the dirt which was required by the City of Scottsdale. They even went the extra mile of trimming the overhanging tree. The only slight criticism is they changed the time they were due to arrive, originally they had said they'd arrive between 8 and 9. However, the night before they were due to arrive they text me to let me know the time had now changed from 10:30 - 11:30. While this wasn't a massive shift it was a little frustrating as i'd rearranged some meetings for the originally time which i then had to change last minute to accommodate the new time. In all they did a great job with the work i just wish they'd given me a little more notice on the time change so i didn't have to rearrange my meetings early the next morning.

Everything went as planned.

I emailed the service and within a day, they emailed back and asked for contact info. Jaime is who was the contact person. He called to set up a time to do an estimate, then also let me know he was running a little late so I knew around what time he would be there. Once the estimate was provided, he called about half an hour later to provide what day they would be able to do the clean up. They showed up on time and did exactly what was wanted. Afterwards, Jaime called to make sure everything was done how it was wanted. What really stands this service apart is the communication aspect. Jaime called to let me know he was running late, called to provide what day they would be there and then called to make sure the service performed was satisfactory. Excellent service and work done. Would definitely recommend.

They came out and gave me a quote and did the work and charged $200 less than the quote. They fixed my sprinkler system and pulled a number of shrubs and lots of rocks where we wanted the sod to go. They came back the next day an laid the sod down then came back a week later to make sure the sprinklers were working and the grass was green. Great Job!
