Trees For Needs

It went very well. From my initial call to completion of the job, they were prompt, professional and courteous. They did the job just as I had asked and expected. The did a great job with the clean-up as well. I had a large branch overhanging my house that I was fearful would fall over damaging the house. They were careful and methodical in how they approached the removal. The trimming of both trees turned out beautifully. I got 6 bids on this job, ranging from $350 to $1670. Trees for Needs' bid was at the lower end, but not the lowest. I would have gone with another company that bid less, but Trees for Needs reviews were much better than that other company, so I was willing to pay a bit more. Regardless, I think their price was fair considering all the bids I secured.

Gave us instructions of what to do to save the trees. Gave us handouts to explain further.

This is the second year that I have had TFN trim my Palo Verde. I am very pleased with the work. I need to keep my tree trimmed so that new growth doesn't hang over the wall and into my neighbors yard. Carl's crew made the first cuts on the neighbor side of the tree. Then they trimmed the opposite side, stepping back frequently to get an overall view of the tree to make sure that the tree looked balanced. The end result is beautiful. Carl & Kim make appointment setting easy and their crew do a good job trimming and they cleanup afterwards.

It went well. I’d consider using them again if they had a similar deal.

I used to have a horribly neglected obstacle of a mesquite tree in front of my house. Carl came and evaluated the tree. He made recommendations and gave me a very fair quote. His crew did an expert and efficient job on the tree. It's a work of art. I am so glad Trees for Needs performed this work. The nasty tree is now beautiful and I couldn't be happier.

They responded to my request relatively quickly. And, they gave me a military discount as well. Did a good job cutting down the tree (We had all of the leafy braches removed prior to them cutting the tree down). A week later, they came back and ground down the stump. Each time, they cleaned the place up and you would never have known they were there. Very satisfied with this service provider..

Good but wanted after several months it's evident that not all dead growth was removed.

TFN trimmed our Sweet Acacia very nicely. They were on time, responsive, and professional. We are going to use them again for our new home as soon as we get settled.

They worked hard while they were here. We were a little shocked by the price. The total bill came out to be $270. I would have liked to have had the trees cut a little more back. I probably won't use them again simply because of the cost.

My experience was fine. They called to make an appointment and they communicated with me well. There were two people here doing the work.

They came out for the estimate in march. I called them last week and they didn't call back. I called again today and they said they would call back tomorrow. Since they have been unresponsive I am requesting

All went very well. The owner, Carl is a certified Arborist and very knowledgeable about trees, their roots systems, diseases, etc. He stayed and directed the crew who were also very nice and accommodating. When they finished trimming the trees, they hauled the branches to the truck and cleaned up my yard so well that it looked like they had not been there.

I called to get an estimate for the work and an appointment was set up within a few days. Carl arrived on time and we walked through the work needed. When I called to schedule the job Kim worked with me to find a convenient time. The crew arrived on time and were done within a few hours. All debris was cleaned up.

After I explained the situation, Carl made a special trip to look at the damaged tree. He then pulled someone in to get the work done before the next storm. They showed up quickly, removed the branch before it did additional damage and cleaned everything up before leaving. They even removed a few extra smaller branches to reduce the possibility of another large limb breaking. All the work was completed by the time the next storm arrived. The person that did the work routinely provided status updates. I appreciate the professionalism and the extra effort required to get the work done quickly.

They did a good job, but they charged me more than my regular service provider. I have a guy that I found on Angie?s List that I?ve been using for years, but I purchased the Big Deal with Trees For Needs because I thought it would be a deal. They do as good of a job as my regular provider, but their pricing is higher even with a $100 off coupon. I suppose what you?re paying for is that they send out a certified arborist though. In reply to the providers response on 7/8/14, its true that we negotiated the final price a couple of times to a point where I felt it was reasonable compared to the price my current guy was charging me. They did nicely trim our large Phoenix palm in the back yard, but our two smaller Mediterranean palms in the front of my house were not trimmed. As to them feeding the palm, my wife told me they gave her the "feeding materials" and politely gave her instructions on how to apply it. My overall rating was a B primarily because of the higher cost , not because of the quality of their work .... which I revised to an "A".

I used a coupon on Angie's list. They came quickly, evaluated the job, and gave us a quote. With the coupon, the price was better than other quotes I had received. The guys came as scheduled and the work was done to our satisfaction.

They gave me a quote for the work and did exactly what i asked. The only reason i gave them a B on quality was they didn't trim the ficus as well as i had hoped but i asked them to come back and they trimmed it up (almost to a Dr. Seuss style) for $140 more. I know its a hard tree to trim and it had a lot of damage. After 2 1/2 months it is filling in nicely now. The reason i will use this company again is they let us go on a payment plan. Trimming trees is expensive and the owner understands this. He let us spread out the payments over 3 months. Such a nice gesture and smart business decision.

They came on time, were very professional and trimmed our trees throughout the yard as expected and left the yard in good shape. I would use them again to take care of my tree needs.
