Trees For Needs

We have a small urban jungle which we love, but it was getting out of control. The arborist visited us initially. We walked the yard and he gave good advice of how to care for the several types of plants. He was receptive to my idea of how I like things, rather than try to impose his own opinions. He offered suggestions and priced those I concurred with, and gave me instructions on how to do the work I had decided to self-perform. The large crew showed up right on time. I couldn't stay to watch the whole process but my wife told me that it took two hours from start to finish and their haul-off truck was full to the brim. The property was left very clean. The best part was that while I initially couldn't see that very much had been done (other that the limb operation), the next day we were amazed at the additional light throughout the yard, and that the ranginess of the trees was absent. That's a proper haircut: the one you can't see.

The office was super friendly and prompt. They returned all calls, they scheduled me quickly. The man who provided the estimate was friendly, on time, precise, and knowledgeable. The gentlemen who provided the service were friendly and on time. The things I didn't like: Why pay for an arborist to give an estimate if the arborist does not relay the instructions to the team actually doing the work? When the crew arrived, they had no idea which trees they were working on or what they were doing to them. I had to explain. This does not give me reassurance that the trimming was carried out in a way that would best suit either tree. That's really the only thing that bugged me - I can't really say if the work was good - as I am not an arborist - nor was one present during the work being done. They have called to find out how things went - I was unavailable at the time. I will be calling back to explain my concerns.

They called within 24 hours to set up an estimate, but I was unable to return the call for about 2 days, and they could not schedule the service on any of 3 afternoons I had available. They would have been able to give me an estimate, but then I'd have to wait another week for the tree trimming. As there is a brief window between when the fruit ripens and when the new buds come out, I didn't want to wait that long, and risk losing these old trees to the heat.

From the beginning I knew this company cared. I was contacted by their office to schedule a time and they were very helpful in getting a crew out. They came out 3 days later, it was over a weekend so Monday was fine. The crew was early, 10 minutes before my scheduled time, and ready to go! From start to finish 50 minutes, tops. It would have been less time but I had tons of pine needles in my yard and they cleaned all the dead stuff away. Crew was friendly and listened to what I requested. I will use them again! I received 2 follow up calls to make sure I was completely satisfied and Iam 100%!!!

This was just an excellent experience. The crew used a power saw to cut the branches apart and put the smaller pieces into a big bin that they had brought with them. They cut up the rest of the tree and put the pieces into their truck. The clean-up afterwards was amazing and thorough. I liked it that the men joked with us, too. They were concerned for our safety and hearing. They told us to go indoors when they turned on their equipment, which is loud. They were also kind to my friendly dog. We couldn't be happier. I don't like the long wait before the service since it was paid in advance. I don't know if he will send the trimmers in February or not.

The removed a Sumac Tree in my backyard that was dropping shedding leaves and flower debrie in my swimming pool. Tree rmoval was performed while I was at work. Tehy did an execellent job includinf cleanup.

i haven't yet used them - they came out and gave me an estimate and don't want me to trim the trees until February once the fruit has gone which was very fair of them

Their representative was so prompt I even commented that I appreciated his punctuality. He assessed the job and removed a tree stump that was approximately 12 feet high. I still had money left since the Groupon was for $200 worth of work, so they also trimmed a few branches on two trees.

They did a great job cleaning up the tree, but even after the discount, they cost twice as must as other companies I've used.

Three workers from Trees For Needs arrived on time with a full complement of climbing gear, extension saws. and chain saws. After a brief review of the project with the foreman, they started on the first ash tree that had limbs overhanging my (and my neighbor's) roof and chimmey. They made short work removing the encroaching branches and did a nice overall canopy trim. While two were up in the tree, another worker was on the ground collecting branches and moving them to their payload truck parked outside our privacy fence. After the first tree was completed, they did a nice heavy trim of our other ash tree. They collected all the debris and air blew and raked the entire yard. They were completed in about an hour and a half.

Carl came over to view and estimate the tree trimming cost and at the same time was willing to look at my ailing Plum tree. Carl was very knowlegeable and gave options on trimming the Elm tree. I had purchased the Big Deal and let me decide if I wanted a more extensive tree trimming. The tree trimmers were prompt, curteous and willing to cut an additional branch or two that I wanted.The trimmers raked, swept and hauled away the trimmings. The whole experience was professional and I will be using this company again.

Purchased the $99 for $200 special. Kim called within 2 days to setup the appt and Carl met with me on the agreed-to date and time. We discussed how the tree would be trimmed. He promised that the trimmers would not simply hollow-out the interior and leave heavy "lions tails" at outer edges. Kim called later to setup the day for the trimming. Unfortunately, I was unable to be there on the day of the trimming due to work issues but I fully inspected the work when I got home. Very nice. Carl did exactly as he promised. I am very pleased with the whole experience. I found this company to be honest, reliable, prompt, good communications, they do good work, and they're pleasant to deal with. I got a followup phone call to make sure I was happy with the work. Carl & Kim want your business and they show it with they followup phone call and post card. I plan to use them again in the future.

Very well. The provider met me at my home and discussed my service request. The provider promptly scheduled and completed the work. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and may definitely hire this provider again in the future.

Met with Carl and went over my service needs. He was very helpful in educating me on benifits of different palm tree treatments and quoted both tree trimming and fertlizing. Opted for palm fertilizer for first visit and was quite happy with treatment and the response of the palms to treatment. After winter lawn seed has fully germinated will request completion of tree trimming.
