 + -1 moreI contacted The Upholstery Shoppe and Mike advised me as to how much fabric I would need. I brought the chair in on a Thursday and hoped to get it back before I left town the following Thursday. I got it back on the following Monday and is it nice. They noted that the foam was not good and replaced it without additional charge. It is so comfortable now and looks great. I am sure that this will hold up much better than the last time I had it done elsewhere. I am sitting in it now! Thanks, Mike.
Description of Work: I have an executive desk chair that over 30 years old and was in need of reupholstering for the 3rd or 4th time.

 + -1 moreMy husband called and spoke to Michael Olmos from the Upholstery Shoppe, and Michael was confident that he would be able to help us. We dropped off the bar stool on Wednesday morning at the Upholstery Shoppe for Michael to inspect. We left the bar stool with his employees who were friendly and helpful. On Saturday, Michael called our home to tell us that he had found the same exact vinyl fabric and had re-upholstered the bar stool and that it was ready to be picked up. The workmanship on the barstool is perfect! The best part of our experience was Michael's professionalism and prompt service. He could have charged a lot more for the work but only charged us $30. How great was that!
Description of Work: The vinyl seat on one of our expensive bar stools had a small rip on it. To replace the bar stool would have been very expensive, so we checked Angie's List and found The Upholstery Shoppe in Phoenix, AZ.

 + -1 moreMR. OLMOS WAS REFERRED TO US BY OUR INTERIOR DESIGNER. HE CONVERTED AN OUTDATED 90'S SOFA INTO A PLUSH, RICH LOOKING BEAUTIFUL SOFA. HE NOT ONLY RE-UPHOLSTERED IT, BUT MADE CHANGES TO THE BACK OF THE SOFA WHICH JUST ADDED SO MUCH CLASS TO IT. IT WAS LIKE THE SOFA WAS RE-BORN. HE DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB WITH ALL 8 OF THE DINING ROOM CHAIRS, WHICH WERE BOUGHT NEW. TWO OF THEM NEED TO BE MODIFIED AND THE OTHER 6 JUST NEEDED SOME ACCENTS. HE ALSO TOOK 2 FRENCH CHAIRS AND TRANSFORMED THEM. HE'S VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND DOES A BEAUTIFUL JOB.
Description of Work: RE-UPHOLSTERED A SOFA AND MODIFIED THE BACK OF IT. ALSO ADDED DOWN PILLOWS TO THE SOFA. THEY ADDED ACCENTS WITH FABRIC, TASSELS AND CHORDING TO 6 DINING ROOM CHAIRS AND MADE THEM 'LOOK' VERY EXPENSIVE. 2 CAPTAIN CHAIRS WERE RE-UPHOLSTERED AND THE BACKS WERE MODIFIED AND UPHOLSTERED. ONE OTTOMAN, 2 FRENCH CHAIRS, 1 CUBE PILLOW, AND 5 PILLOWS.
