This provider is dealing with issues with the attorney general's office (as of Spring 2015 - search for articles). They fraudalently cold call you as a energy specialist and don't identify as Stealth Solar. Stealth Solar is their second business name (I can't remember the first) and both the first name and Stealth Solar have BBB complaints and have had customer issues. They haven't delivered on savings promises, had to move the system once because they placed it in a location that has afternoon shadows and creates issues gathering solar energy. They don't respond to problems well either. Do not under any circumstances do what I did and go with Stealth. There are plenty of reputable solar companies out there and it'll be the same price anywhere else, but you're likely to get decent service.

Description of Work: They did nothing as cold pass 1st round of vetting. Initial contact and they were unwilling to listen to me. Instead were trying to promote solar lease, not purchase. If they don't listen initially, I don't expect improvement later in the process.

Description of Work: Mr. Richie came out to give us an estimate and explain the product and the process. He was knowledgeable and very precise as far as what would happen, how long it would take and what savings we could expect. Not only did he talk solar, but extra insulation, checking the air conditioning unit, putting a thermal barrior in the attic and sealing all the ducts. He made so much sense, we did it all and LOVE it. | |They finished the work EARLY, it went exactly as presented and the workers were great at explaining as they performed the work. Everything was cleaned up before they left. No mess. | |Even tho this was done later in the year, we have already seen impressive savings. I can't wait to see the savings next summer. | |I highly recommend this company. The work ethic & integrity was incredible! If you're interested in Solar, this is the company to use!!! |

It started with a cold sales call which was fine. I was interested in solar, the timing was right, and so set an appointment with the sales person. The sales person was late on the first visit, which is perfectly forgivable if it weren't for everything else. The sales pitch was fine, it went long and my wife had to leave so we rescheduled. On the next visit we had done research and were ready to sign. We started the initial paperwork (I have a partial signed copy by the salesman and my wife) and the salesman called the office about financing options. He indicated the office needed to go through several lenders to find the best option (saying most of my credit was recent within the last 5 years (we bought the house 2 years ago, though I have a 700+ credit score)) and he would call me that afternoon or the following morning. That follow up call never came. I called the office number that I had from caller ID (from the telemarketer). They told me they left him a message and he would call me. Nothing. Two days later I call the office again. She tells me he had the flu and would call me back Monday. Nothing. I call back and it goes to voicemail. I call back two more times through the following week (leaving voicemails every time) and never hear a word back. I even went so far as to line up my own financing via a HELOC, but Stealth solar never even returned my calls. The salesman did promise me though that he would sell me a couple rolls of something similiar to the radiant barrier they sell and I could install it myself. He did not leave me his contact information in my signed paperwork or folder, so I was not able to reach him. What bothered me even more is I wanted to be sold AND he recommended working for them as a part time job. I was very interested. I even had 3 referrals lined up all ready to pull the trigger on solar and couldn't get the company to engage to even get to that point. I don't know if they felt because they couldn't finance me initially I just no longer mattered as a customer or potential customer. I was even given the chance to try and work out a solution (aka a HELOC or other system options).
Description of Work: This review is based on the poor sales and customer service experience I had with Stealth Solar. No Panels or energy efficiencies were ever installed as they vanished before we could get to that point.

Our solar project is now finished and we are 100% satisfied with its results. We have seen a significant decrease in our total costs for electricity since our solar project was commissioned. We would gladly recommend Stealth Solar to anyone interested in or considering working with Stealth Solar to build out their renewable energy project.

Our energy consultant was Robert Pierson, extremely experienced and was able to give us the most bang for the buck. We chose Stealth Solar because: They used the top Solar panels (CentroSolar panels -- a top rated panel, developed in Germany and used in Europe and the US for years) Stealth offers more passive energy methods as part of their solar commitment (in our case, sealed the ducts, added attic radiant barrier, added insulation, electronic smoothing of air conditioning current, and smart coolant to make our AC units more efficient) By doing these energy efficient methods first (many do have APS rebates, state and federal tax credits), we were able to go from the 39 panels that SC specified to 26. The reduction in reliance only on panels saves energy and saves cost. In addition Stealth was able to put all of the panels on the south side because we needed 13 fewer panels. The other reason that we choose Stealth Solar is that in addition to no cost leases, and various other lease option, Stealth had a purchase option. By far, the purchase option returned the highest yield on investment. And Stealth Solar work was accomplished quickly and professionally. I could not imagine a better experience.
Description of Work: Energy audit including estimate on installing Solar Panels. The passive conservation methods included sealing the duct system. blown insulation, a radiant barrier in the attic, and special controls on the two 4 ton Trane 19i air conditioners to make them even more efficient. On Solar panels, we were interested in looking at various plans including leasing and buying, and how to leverage the many rebates, and tax incentives, and the ROI on each method. We received 3 bids and decided on Stealth Solar -- one of the two largest solar companies in Arizona. We decided to buy the system because it had the fastest break even payback point and the largest ROI.
