Smart Systems Plus Inc

Dealing with Smart Systems has been an absolute nightmare for the past 3 years. We had this company install garage cabinets when we bought our home. The company sent an idiot who was more interested in blasting heavy metal music in our home than actually installing the cabinets correctly. Within 2 months the doors starting popping off due to stresses incurred from the faulty installation. We have replaced 4 or 5 doors and recently had 2 more break off. We have called the company on several occasions to no avail. Some completely ignorant elderly lady answers the phone and keeps repeating over and over "The doors just don't fall off". We have yet to hear from the owner of Smart Systems because there appears to be a disconnect between this person answering a phone and actually writing down a message. As a business owner myself I know the value of customer service. Let's hope the owner of this company takes note of this and responds to this review as well as correct the problem with our cabinets. Shame on Smart Systems and their complete Customer Service melt down.

They did not do any work. They were supposed to come on 9/27/13 between 2 and 3 pm, where they did not show up or give a phone call. I called at 4 pm that day and got an answering machine. They called back the next day and left a message that did not say anything about the missed appointment. It was only to return a phone call.

I was lead to believe by Mr. Langdon, the company owner, that the coating would be smooth with a minimum of imperfections. Both garages have multiple imperfections that, in my opinion, should not be there. One section in the double garage is not dry. After a month. It appears that it will never dry. I believe, after speaking with a person from the paint industry, that the epoxy was not mixed correctly. I have tried to be co-operative with the company owner, Mr. Robert Langdon, by allowing him ample opportunity to correct the problem. He and his crew have come back and re-coated multiple times. The result is far from satisfactory. When I park on the floors my tires leave a imbedded pattern on the floor. If we set something on the floor the item will stick to the floor. This is after a month of drying. Mr. Langdon has stopped taking my calls. I leave messages and do not get any return calls. I commented several times to Mr. Langdon and his crew that I hired them because I didn't want it to look like I did the work my self. I wanted a professional high quality job. I did not receive quality work and believe that I could have done it better myself. I am now in the position that I'll have to hire an other contractor to remove the epoxy and do the job correctly. I want a refund.

VERY RESPONSIVE AND DID A VERY NICE JOB. THE CABINETS NOT ONLY LOOK GREAT, BUT THEY ARE VERY STURDY AND FUNCTIONAL. INSTALLATION WAS FAST (ONE DAY).
