Description of Work: Needed four dining chair seats replaced and recovered. Wanted fabric pattern to go a certain way and piping to be straight along the edges.

Description of Work: We own an RV that was needing some attention on the interior. Two couches and two captain's chairs needed new upholstery. Also we needed new carpet. They did it all.

Description of Work: I had a couch and love seat reupholstered and six dining room chair seat cushions re-covered. When I first contacted them in the spring, Rick came out the next day to look at my furniture and help me pick out fabric for the couch/love seats. I had my own fabric for the chairs. He sent me a quote within a few days. However, I decided to continue searching for the "right" fabric for the couch/love seat. Meanwhile, he sent me a very large sample of the fabric I had liked during his visit. He did not charge me for the yard of fabric even though I had not committed to the work. Fast forward several months, I finally decided to go with the fabric and re-contacted Rick. I told him the only reason I was willing to pay so much money to have a couch reupholstered instead of buying a new couch, was because I loved the way the cushions felt. Very comfortable, but supportive at the same time. He assured me the new cushions would feel the same way. He showed me different types of foam; but my cushions had foam/duck/down. He said that would cost me more per cushion. I agreed to pay that fee as long as they felt the same. Once the job was completed the fabric looked beautiful. However, the cushions were not right. Come to find out, my original cushions had springs in them in addition to the duck/down/foam. (I am not an expert on furniture construction, there was no way for me to know there were springs inside; but I believed someone at Sit-well should have known and discussed that as an option with me before the job started.) When I told Rick I was not happy, he assured me Sit-Well stands behind its work. He would do what was necessary to make this right. They took back the cushions and removed the new duck/down cases and inserted my former inner springs/foam centers into the cases. Then filled my cushions. All is well and we love our re-upholstered furniture! The dinning room chairs came out great too! Thank you, Sit-Well!

Description of Work: My couch was much too low which made it rather difficult, at my age, to comfortably sit and stand. I thought that thicker and firmer seat cushions would solve the problem. When Ricky from Sit Well arrived with a sample foam pillow, he immediately determined new pillows were not required as my current ones was the same as his sample. He thus suggested replacing the current wooden legs with higher ones. It solved the problem, looked great, AND, cost much less then the cost of replacing the pillows would have been. It is most unlikely that from two options a supplier would recommend the one that would earn him less profit. In this case that is what Sit Well did. | |Mikki Gordon

Description of Work: They made a custom cover for my outdoor television and did a super job. The price included 2 trips to my house to verify measurements. It's perfect and I imagine they would do a terrific job on larger items. At Christmas last year they restuffed my old sagging sofa bolster cushions and gave the piece a little more life. It's a shame we throw away old furniture when the fabric wears out when there is an alternative like Sit Well to consult.

Description of Work: Eric reupholstered an old loveseat we did not want to part with - it's a very solid well made piece that only suffered cosmetically when our dogs were puppies (who hasn't been there?). He did an incredibly beautiful job!
