These people are really awful. They are pushy as the dickens and their contact people who come out only want to add a whole lot of stuff to your system, do a whole lot of unnecessary things, and charge an arm and a leg for it. One of their guys was snotty and we told them not to send him out again. Others would come out and tell us several things we needed and we told them to forget it when we saw the bill. The price was too high. The quality was okay because the equipment still works.

We found Sierra through the BBB after a very bad experience with a home warranty company. We had just moved into our condo in July and the downstairs AC unit was not working. I was trying to unpack with no cooling in the lower level. Their scheduler-Christina-was friendly and efficient. I had a repairman out the same day - and he was extremely clean and knowledgeable. He had to go upstairs in our unit and we have very light colored, new carpeting. I asked him to please take off his shoes and it was no problem. We also have both our units which can only be reached by ladder from the outside and the ladder must be carried through the downstairs as there is no other access to the backyard. (This was a huge problem for the previous company). This was no problem for the Sierra repairman. He had our problem diagnosed immediately and I had air the very next day - which was the quickest they could get the part that was needed and get it installed. They were so efficient and pleasant - we ended up paying for the repair ourselves even though we could have had it covered by the warranty company. But we had already been working with this horrible warranty company for more than 7 days and still did not have a repair - all the while with no AC! Sierra was a life saver. Since then they have worked on both our units several times replacing starter kits and thermostats. We initiated a semi-annual maintenance agreement with them and they call us twice a year to schedule our maintenance checks. What really impressed me on our first service call was the repairman's description of what a wonderful company Sierra is to work for and how much he enjoys his job and the respect of the owner. Then you know you have a company you can trust and appreciate to help with your repair problems.
