Shop at Home Window & Floor Coverings

I entered into a contract on July 3, 2013 for an instillation to be completed in January 2014. I made an early deposit to lock in the price. In September 2013 we decided we wanted to consider other window treatments and cancelled the order, requesting a refund of our $896 deposit. Mr. Moss refused to refund our deposit even after having agreed to it on my first phone call to him. He stated he had already expended monies on our order (to include commissions) and therefore would not provide a refund. I asked if he had ordered any materials and he said no. I checked with the salesman (who had terminated his employment with Verde General) and he confirmed he had received no commission on my order. Commissions were normally paid on completion of the order. I currently have a complaint filed with the ROC and BBB Lee Alton
