The service arrived a few hours later than was scheduled but they still completed the job in a timely manner and everything was finished to my satisfaction. You can't even tell there used to be a tree where the removed one was.

Patrick was the gentleman who came out and gave me the quote. He was very professional. He came out when he said he was going to. I liked his quote and they mobilized the guys. They did what they said they were going to do and they actually exceeded my expectations. They were very professional and removed all of the trees. They treated my yard like it was theirs. I was extremely happy. They did an outstanding job.

I hired this company in 2011 to prune a large cottonwood tree in my backyard where it was not easy access to get to and I knew no equipment was going to fit through my gate so I was surprised when they did such a prompt and nice job in such a short time; I was gone for about an hour when I came back the job was done. Then I called them again this year spring of 2013 and spoke with Patrick. He was professional and prompt, quoted me a price of $400 to prune about this same cottonwood and 2 smaller trees. I know that was a good price compared to some other companies but called them 2 days later and told them I had other quotes and asked if we could agree on $350. Patrick basically chuckled on the phone, paused and told me the other company couldn't be professional if offering to do for less than Shamrock. I explained the other company willing to beat their price was Kings Tree service and he was an arborist. Patrick did not agree to compete and didn't ever call me back. Oh well, I think Shamrock had an excellent reputation for many years but now has new owners possibly not operating just the same way so I am not certain if the company is still up to par. I would call them again . . but not as a first choice following this experience. I live in Gilbert

Three workers arrived with a bucket truck and trash truck with large chipper. Removed first tree and one large limb on another. Trimmed remaining two trees and finished with stump grinding the remaining stump. Cleanup was finished and workers left at about 2 PM.

They came out and left an estimate for the work to be done. I called and set up an appointment for Friday, June 22 at about 1:00pm. We made sure we were home from noon on just in case they were early. At 3:15 I sent an email because no one had shown up or called. At 4 I called and left a message. Turns out the they went to the wrong house and those people didn't want their trees trimmed. It seems to me that if the men doing the work had verified the last name or address with those people, they would have realized the mistake. I set up another appointment for them to come out today, June 29th at 8am. At 7am I was going through my emails and found one sent to me on Thurs at 4pm saying: As you are probably aware, (name) is no longer with our company.In reviewing the estimates he wrote, we are finding that the prices givenare drastically below what our actual costs are to complete the work. Uponfinding this, we visited your house, along with other outstanding estimates,to determine if it was feasible to perform the work. Patrick our OperationsManager stopped by this afternoon and felt the actual work involved wassignificantly greater than what was estimated by (name) . It is not our practice to ask for more money once an estimate has beengiven, but we can't perform work that cost us out of pocket to perform. Atthis time, I can refer you to another tree company in your area that mayhave lower fuel and personnel costs and hopefully be able to meet yourbudget. I apologize for the inconvenience this issue may cause and regretthat we are unable to honor the estimate given. If they had called me Thursday instead of emailing, I could have asked them to come out and charge whatever they needed to do the work, but no one called. I emailed them right away and asked if they could come out and just do an estimate on 3 mesquite trees. I then called and left a message for them to call me back because we need those trees trimmed. That was 5 hours ago and I haven't heard a thing. We're going with another company. This is an example of total unprofessionalism and incredibly lousy customer service.

One of my neighbours reported a very positive experience with Shamrock Tree Service. I called them. A representative arrived within a couple of hours and gave me an estimate. They arrived a couple of days later as scheduled and did a first rate job. They chipped and removed all the trimmed branches and left the yard clean. They also provided some advice regarding the setting of my irrigation system.

I found this company while driving down Interstate 17 one day. The truck was in front of me with the wood chipper and stump gringer attached. I realized, that's the type of company I need to cut down my trees. I jotted down the name, looked at their web site and called them. They came out and provided a quote rather quickly. I received 3 other quote and they were very competitive and had the best price. However, I felt their quote was vague and requested if they would revise it with more detail they would get the job. They did a great job and did exactly what was requested. Everything was picked up, cleaned up and hauled away....they even took some branches I had waiting for bulk pickup day. Stumps were ground down and gone. They were very quick from the time I accepted their quote and professional over the phone. I would definitely recommend them.
