Six months after “completing” the job, there were visible paint defects around the house. Saul never returned my phone calls even though the paint “warranty” is for one year. Save your money and hire an actual professional with ethics. I went the cheap route and got exactly what I paid for.

Saul was very helpful selecting paint and a pleasure to have around while working. However, after a week we realized that the paint was bubbling in multiple spots which he repaired. The paint continues to peel and bubble and now that we are hanging artwork we realize that we can see all of the places we wrote the names of sample paint colors on the wall prior to painting. When we tried to roll paint over the writing the paint peeled off. He did not prep or prime the walls. I tried to call and text him to come repair it and he will not respond. We paid him $6500. He seemed like a person of integrity but is not. It is incredibly upsetting. I am happy to share photos.

Saul gave us a very reasonable bid for the painting compared to a couple other bids, and he obviously knew his craft. He brought several paints as well as a color wheel to choose from, and gave us his advice on color selection. He and his team did all the necessary power washing and then painted the whole house, both exterior and interior, including ceilings, kitchen cabinets and interior doors (which required sanding prior to repainting). We were remote, so Saul sent us several photos each day to keep us apprised of progress. We also had a trusted neighbor inspect the work at the end of each phase-- the neighbor was so impressed that he hired Salazar Family Painting to paint his house next. The work was done quickly and professionally, and he communicated promptly and regularly. We couldn't be happier with the work or the experience. He also had carpeting installed in most of the common areas at a very reasonable price. (Cost noted below does not include the carpeting.)

He arrived on time and did protection. Then he patched a ten by ten section of failing drywall caused by water damage. He then sanded and painted . Great job at a reasonable rate.
