Rooter Hero Plumbing

I scheduled an appointment with Rooter Hero Plumbing due to a clog in my hall bathroom tub. The technician arrived at 9:30am and began his work. He continued to work for a couple of hours before I entered my master bathroom and observed dark murky water filling my shower floor. By 6:00pm, I was left with neither shower in my home in working order. The technician stated he and his boss will be at my home the next morning at 10:00am. Upon arrival (BTW he was 20 minutes late), the manager entered my home never introducing himself and had already begun belittling his technician. He did not look my direction while speaking; therefore I assumed he was not speaking to me. He then proceeded to say, "well, are you coming?" "Aren't you the homeowner?" After a brief peek of his head into each of the bathrooms, he explicitly let me know I had big problems and we need to sit at the table and discuss what needs to be done. Once at the table, he told me that we can get my homeowners insurance company to pay for the new plumbing, but we need to create a water leak that will result in water damage. I stated to him that I do not have a leak. The manager then looked at his technician and stated "that's what we got this little guy for." He stated he works with my insurance company all of the time and already has 4 claims processing and that they know him by name. At this point I knew exactly what he was doing; therefore I asked him to leave my home. He immediately got up from his seat and swiftly walked out the door as if I were wasting his time.

Our main line backed up on 12/8/16, I called for service and "Jose" came out to clear the stoppage.I informed Jose that I had a coupon that stated Rooter Hero would clear any drain line for $77.00. Jose informed me that the $77.00 covered 30 minutes and lets hope it only takes 30 minutes. Jose ran his 11/16 cable through the clean out in the front yard. Jose did not put any blade on the cable to clear the line. The line cleared and we ran water. Jose presented the bill to me, it was for $150.00. I was shocked, Jose informed me that it took 45 minutes, that was why the charge was for $150.00. I paid the bill and was given a 90 day guarantee. On 12/12/16 the main line backed up again. I called and requested the line be ran again. I requested them not to send out Jose. "Adrian" came out to the house to clear the drain. He pulled out a much smaller machine with a 3/8 cable with no blades to clear the 3 inch main line through the clean out. My wife asked Adrian why he did not use blades on the cable. Adrian told her that they never put blades on the cable to clear stoppages. Much to my surprise Adrian was able to open the line with the 3/8 cable. However the very next day the main line backed up for the 3rd time. I was not about to call for a repeat performance so I rented a 11/16 cable from Home Depot with blades to clear the stoppage. I was able to clear the main line with the full set of blades. I would not recommend Rooter Hero to anyone!!!

Absolute worst company we have ever had to service our business. Needed to get a urinal drain unclogged. They said we needed jetted. We trusted them. $1,850 to jet our lines. Not to mention, they dropped and broke our urinal when doing the service. (took cost off the invoice) They said the jetting came with a warranty. Low and behold, the next week we have the same issue. Called 4 times to get a warranty service preformed and could never get anyone out to look at it. Ended up calling another plumber. $150 has fixed our problem for good. These guys are an absolute rip off. DO NOT USE. Jose was our tech.

...I had some questions regarding the type of valve which could be used. He said he would research and get right back to me. He left me his cell phone no. One week past...no return call. I left msg on his phone. No return call. Another week. same routine. I left msg. No return call. Yes his phone says this is Kevin leave a msg. I finally called Rooter Hero (no. on the estimate) and talked to a Rooter Hero customer service person. They indicated that Kevin still worked there and she would have the manager call me back. Of course no one called back as of 2/3/16. I see others have had similar experience. Life must be good as a plumber.

I called and made an appointment and the dispatcher said that they would call an hour before they were supposed to show up. They did not call, they just showed up a half hour early than the scheduled time. I was not at home. When I got home, they looked the job over, understood exactly what I needed, assured me that they could do it and gave me a price, but they did not have time to do it that day. They left me their card. When I called the next day they put me off for a week. I called again and they said they would have to call back but never did. I called again and then they wouldn't answer my calls even after leaving several voice messages. After another week their company calls me with a sales pitch for a whole house plumbing inspection and certification for $39.95. I accepted that offer from their sales call and made the appointment for the next day. When the service tech arrived he only did half of the inspection and said that his boss would need to come and do the other half and then give me my certification. I did not receive any paperwork and when the "Boss" didn't show up to finish the job. I called their dispatch twice and was told both times that they would call me back or send someone out but never did. And Still haven't heard from anyone in the company to this day. And now the dispatcher wont answer my calls.
