No services performed due to lack of response by company.

No answer when I called. Left voice mail explaining what I was looking for. Respread new gravel/rock over landscpe that's settled after11 years. Included my name and phone number. Called again and left voice mail, no response. Third call was answered, explained I was looking for an estimate. He said he was on another call and to text him the details which I did. Never heard back. Qoutes obtained by other contractors.

Rob was very responsive. He price was very competitive with other "landscapers". You can tell that Rob has chosen to do one thing, and does it well, versus other companies that try to do all things, but none particularly well. We chose a date less than a week out. His delivery and crew were just as scheduled. His workers were very professional, friendly, and personable. They really cared about making sure I was happy. And I am. I would easily recommend Rockspreaders!

Still looking for someone to do job

I contacted Rob in Jan 13 to quote adding gravel on top of my existing 15 year old gravel w/ tropicals landscaping. He came within a day to measure and make recommendations. Within three days Rob emailed me a quote recommending 15 tons of gravel for $775. After comparison shopping, I decided on Rob. Remarkably easy to arrange the transaction. He is readily available by phone or email. In early Feb I asked Rob to schedule the work for 5 March. He agreed. I called Rob early on 4 Mar to confirm our appointment on the 5th, truly expecting some glitch given the time since we last talked. When I announced myself, he surprised me by saying and quot;Hi, you are on our schedule for tomorrowand quot;. Very impressive. I asked Rob to bring additional gravel so there could be deeper coverage in an area I recently added. He suggested an additional 3 tons, had the rock delivered the afternoon of 4 Mar. His crew was here at 7:30 a.m. on 5 Mar. The additional 3 tons raised the price $225.00, which was fine. The crew was polite and efficient. They moved the existing gravel away from all edges using shovels before starting to spread rock. Very impressive is that they use a mechanical loader and motorized wheelbarrows so the job goes fast. Rob arrived about 9:00 and was here until the crew left around noon. He cleaned up the rock dust perfectly. It looks lovely. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Rob also does all kinds of hardscaping such as patios, barbecues, fences, etc. Certainly I will use his services again and have already recommended him to several friends.

They showed up bright and early and started moving the rock from out front to the back yard in wheel barrows. When everything was moved to the back, they started spreading everything out. Very professional. Got the job done in a timely manner (i.e. didn't doddle and take all day), honored the estimate, and cleaned up the rock dust off the sidewalk (keeping the HOA happy). I would use them again, without question.

They arrived on time and did exactly as I requested with Mike. No question I would use them again in the future. Great company run by a very reliable and honest owner in Mike Tews.

Very good service

Mike was very responsible and his crews did a beautiful job. He is moderately priced and very prompt and communicates when he is coming and shows up as planned.
