The company apparently was previously named Hometech Appliance Repair, same phone number. This company came to our home under a home warranty service call to repair our dishwasher. The technician ordered parts but the problem was not accurately diagnosed in it's entirety, and following his repair the dishwasher broke down again after only one wash cycle. A "Senior Technician" was then sent to diagnose. In fairness, the technician who came to our home was affable and courteous. He ordered additional parts and kindly referred us to a plumbing company to correct plumbing connections that he couldn't work with for the installation of the new dishwasher parts. This is when the problem began with Reliable's office: An appointment was made to have the Senior Tech. return to finish the repair. The appointment which was scheduled for November 14th, was CONFIRMED by phone the day prior. Mind you, this is the week before Thanksgiving, this repair was needed. , The technician never showed up on November 14 during the 1-5 PM window. Upon my inquiry on the next day, I was angrily told that "my husband had called to cancel" during business hours. This was not only untrue but senseless since my husband had no knowledge of this pending appointment at that time the alleged call took place. I was also told that someone had most likely played a prank on us and impersonated my husband, which was further insulting and senseless since we would be the only two people in our household who would arrange for any appointment. Logic would dictate that the mistake was made at Reliable Repair's end, and someone else's cancellation was incorrectly assigned to us, or some might even say that the "prankster" came from within their ranks. Regardless, the scheduler refused to correct the situation, insisted on blaming us and stated that they would call and re-shedule IF a cancellation arose to fit us in during their very busy Thanksgiving schedule. Their lack of customer service, professionalism and honesty is galling. It is now November 25th, two months without a dishwasher, and no communication from this company since November 15th. The home warranty has been useless in dealing with this situation, and they have also received my negative feedback regarding this contractor. If Reliable Repair is sent to you under a home warranty service- insist on another company. Reliable Repair- absolutely NOT RELIABLE.
