 + -1 moreThis was a waste of time and money. The technician failed to fix all the issues with the system. With over $300 in parts replaced, the system continued to have problems. There is sediment that continues to be discharged when running water. This, according to the staff, is that the filter media needs to be replaced. This happens after just over 5 years of service and I'm told that the cost for the media replacement is approximately $500. For $800, I can buy an entire new system offered by another American manufacturer. Considering the high cost of this system, I cannot justify the short life span without incurring substantial cost to repair it. When looking at the original cost of the system, I could buy new, less-costly systems on an annual basis. Their representative added insult to injury when she suggested that I could replace half the media for $250 and that they could discount that by $50. This is an absurd solution because the original media only lasted 5 years with a one person household. So, they are suggesting a solution that would appear to only last for 2.5 years.
Description of Work: I had this company in as a service call for a system (Rayne Guarding Elite) I purchased from them in 2010.

 + -1 moreI was going to go with Rayne Water, they were the cheapest but then another provider came in. He was cool, very informative and he explained everything to me. It's just that where it came down to is price. They tried to win my business but I just didn't want to spend $1300 more and its roughly the same outcome.

 + -1 moreRAYNE REPRESENTATIVE INSPECTED OUR WATER SOFTENER AND FOUND THAT THE TIMER MOTOR WAS BAD. ALSO NOTICED THAT ONE OF THE CAM GEARS WAS DAMAGED. HE REPLACED BOTH DEFECTIVE PARTS, SHOWED ME HOW TO RUN THE SYSTEM AND PUT SYSTEM BACK TOGETHER. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN HIS LINE OF BUSINESS. HE ALSO TALKED TO US ABOUT PURCHASING A NEWER MODEL SINCE OURS IS QUITE OLD. HE LEFT US WITH INFO ON DIFFERENT MACHINES.
Description of Work: REPRESENTATIVE CAME AND INSPECTED OUR WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM TO FIND OUT WHY WE WERE NOT GETTING SOFT WATER. REPLACED THE TIMER AND CAM GEAR.
