R&R Everclear Pool Service

Horrible! I witnessed the pool cleaner come in my backyard and dump liquid in my pool (chlorine?) and leave. I called the owner of the business, Russ, and he defended his employee, saying the employee has 80+ pools a week to clean. Russ didn't care that there was sediment floating on top or on the floor of the pool and his employee didn't brush or skim the pool. I sent him pictures of the dirty pool and he still stood by his employee. Russ also said it's hard to find employees and didn't have a different employee to send over. I fired R&R and Russ didn't even seem to care. I would NEVER use them again and NEVER refer them to anyone! Save your $90 a month!

Russ and his team really are the best. They are reliable, knowledgable and just nice guys. I used R&R to install a Pentair wifi system on my pool and they have always been willing to help me when questions arise. Recently, my water temp sensor went bad and Russ made a special trip to get me up and running again. I would highly recommend them for any pool related needs. They are pros.

During the process of purchasing my home, I had a pool inspection completed. Scott was provided to me as the inspector. I met him during the inspection. He reviewed with me the work that needed completed on my pool. He told me it was important that I get the grout line re-sealed to prevent water from getting behind the tile and also that I needed to add a terminal protector cover. He said even though the cover was only a $10 part, without it, it would be easy to get shocked turning the pool pump off and on. These both seemed like important things to have completed, so as it was getting closer to my closing, I reached out to Scott via email to schedule to have this work completed. I figured who better to have complete the work than the person that completed the inspection? Other contractors I was setting up week's in advance to make sure I could get them scheduled. I initially emailed Scott 2.5 weeks prior to the date I was looking to have the service completed. His response was brief and would not schedule it for me at that time, but requested that I email him again in a week to set it up. I didn't really understand why we couldn't schedule it then, but ok. So I did exactly that. One week later I sent him another email, asking again if we could schedule it for the morning of 6/25. I asked if 9:30am would work. Another brief response "That should work, give or take 30 min. Chris is the tech that will be out there" I responded "Sounds good, thank you". And that was the last I heard from anyone at R&R. The 25th came and went and nothing. I emailed Scott again the next day. "Hi Scott, should I be surprised no one showed up or even had the decency to call? I contacted you weeks in advance to set this up. Maybe this is a small job and just not worth it to you, but all you had to do was tell me that in the first place, and I would have scheduled someone else." No response. Nothing. I reached out to him in the first place because I thought he would be a trusted source to complete the work since he completed the inspection. I also have some work that needs completed with the pool in the winter months. I thought he and his company could be a trusted source to work with me with my pool. Clearly, that is not the case. If he didn't want to bother with doing the job, he could have said he didn't want to, so I could have found someone else. Their website says "no job too big or too small" - apparently that is not the case when they can't even bother to show up or even respond to me.

I've had Rand R out several years ago, and they did a good job in replacing a motor. A motor seal leaked this time, eventually destroying the motor. I met Josh, owner of the East division of Rand R (Chandler, AZ area)... he was outstanding, very personable and knowledgeable. He explained how I could help avoid similar damage in the future, was very down-to-earth and a real pleasure to have do my repair. Josh will certainly be my go-to repair person in the future!! Great service, reasonable price!
