If you need HVAC work, service or new systems in the Valley, don't waste your time and money on big companies. John and his family are simply the best when it comes to quality, service and integrity.

If you live in the Valley you know there are a million air conditioning companies out there, just waiting to take your money, including the Big Ones, with so called great service! But if you truly want amazing service with amazing prices, you need to call Rainbow. I was lucky enough to stumble on this family business, and will never use another company for our HVAC. Thanks for the amazing job!

It went very well. Rainbow installed a Carrier (Day & Night) 14 SEER system. John was on time for the first evaluation/estimate. He was on time for the install with two techs (Tim & Branden) 3 days later. The techs were professional, cheerful, and did their work without taking a break. They worked in that hot attic, removed & cleaned up the old system, and our house is cooling wonderfully within 5 hours. John explained how to use the digital thermostat. We couldn't be happier with the experience with Rainbow AC. They work the way every service company should work!

Every time I used Rainbow Air they were great, and this time was no exception. That being said, they have been extremely tough to get hold of (they may not be now, but I needed some emergency work done a couple of times, left repeated messages, no response). It was so bad I pretty much assumed that they were out of business. I know someone was suffering from an illness in the family for a while, and that might have caused the communication issues, but it got bad enough that I finally had to use someone else for my work out of desperation. When I could pin John down, his work was always EXTREMELY fair-priced and first-rate, plus he's a great guy. It was only because he was impossible to track down at the end that I had to switch providers.

With all of the air condition companies in the Valley, and all of the so called deals out there; I have finally found a company that I can completly trust. From scheduling to the service and quality that Jon provided, my experiences with Rainbow have been the best I have ever had in dealing with an A/C company. Forget all of the fancy commercials, and ads. If you want a family run, honest and dependable company, give them a call!

I have owned homes in the Valley for over 20 years and have had several interactions with Heating & A/C contractors over the years. I have never had a company as good as Rainbow Air. The service rep, Jon, was punctual, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. My air conditioner went out the day before Labor Day and I saw a 12" spark shoot out of the unit in my back yard. I called them this morning and their tech was out within 3 hours. Jon rolled up his sleeves and started testing the system. He showed me the problem and fixed it immediately.He did a thorough job, charged me a very fair price and best of all, he didn't try to up-sell me on any products or contracts. I called them because they had a 100% rating with Angie 's List. The rating should be 110% A++. The money i saved hiring someone from Angie's List well outweighs the subscription cost. Thank you.

After receiving two quotes from some of the other more "well advertised" a/c companies in the Phoenix metro area for the replacement of the indoor coil in my 6 year old York a/c unit for 4300 and 3900 dollars I was referred to Rainbow Air. I can't say enough good things about them. They are a smaller, family-owned company that provided outstanding service. When they came to give the quote it was truly a "no cost" estimate unlike the others. Both other companies were polite and prompt; however, each charged me over $150.00 for their "no cost" estimate and for the use of their "special diagnostic equipment". Rainbow Air had the same equipment and I wasn't charged a special fee. John Jr. spent almost two hours in my side yard, up in my attic and explaining things to me while doing the estimate. I was hounded over the phone for over a week by each of the other companies trying to get me to have the replacement service done and being told that I needed to have the work done immediately or I would be facing lots of problems with my a/c unit in the future. (I am guessing they knew that if I did some research I would find a much better price). When John Jr. came out I was quoted a price of $1400 for the same work quoted by the other two companies. I guess you get a better price when you don't have to pay for all of a company's radio and tv advertising. Along with the actual no cost estimate John Jr. explained to me that the coil replacement wasn't a dire problem and he wasn't trying to give me a high pressure sales pitch. I had the work done a week after he came to give the estimate, he arrived on time and had the work completed in the time he said it would take. I have referred Rainbow Air to two other friends of mine who both have had great experiences with them. F

I started my search about 1 year before the actual purchase. I used Rainbow Air as the main company I called every spring for 5 years to perform a preventative maintenance. I initially used them when someone recommended their company after I had an A/C problem in the middle of summer. Dreading the worst, it was only a minimal repair job which they preformed with fair price of labor and parts. They were honest with me, saying the units were strong and shouldn't be replaced, yet, and kept me in the loop of rebates, tax deduction and performance of the units. About 1 year prior to actual purchase, the serviceman indicated it might be time since the one part in my AC was no longer available. If the compressor had to be purchased, It could be about 1/2 the cost of a new unit. I called for an appointment about 1 month prior to signing on the contract and it went exactly as he stated it would. The new A/C units have cut my SRP bill exactly in half. I have called them out once, thinking my unit was out of balance since it was making a vibrating noise. They came out, no problem and units were well within tolerance level and no other issues have been called for their services. I have recommended them to another collegue last fall, and they have received the same exceptional service and price. We both felt we got an exceptional value for our money in the purchase made. My colleague stated there was no attempt in an "upsale" in selling them something they really didn't need, like the other "bidders" tried to do. Looking back at my experience with Rainbow Air, I too felt I was treated fairly and was not pressured into an "upsale" purchase in somehting I really didn't need that would have added another 2K to the price. I would use them again and recommend them highly to anyone who is in the market for an A/C.

I was looking for a good firm that can come up and evaluate the health of two A/C units I have. I had used 3 or 4 firms in the past but none of them was good. I searched for the firms on Angies list and reached out to Rainbow for the services to be performed. The lady who received my call was extremely courteous and professional. Based on the address I had provided, she let me know that it is out of bounds area for them and suggested another firm's name. I reached out to the second firm and they turned out to be equally professional and knowledgeable.

Called - they came as promised - checked two air conditioners and replaced two minor parts in each that needed replacing or would cause problems - checked air conditioner on my other house next door - it was working fine and I thought the whole system might need to be replaced - but it was fine

We bought a house that needed total renovation and new appliances. John Miller was recommended to us by our remodelers REPUBLIC WEST. He did a thorough inspection and presented us with his suggestions for an air conditioning system. My brother in law is a TRANE specialist in OH so we had pertinent information and John met every criteria. Then we had to return to OH for family matters and John and Republic West worked on our house. We received pictures almost daily to watch the installation--could not have been a better buy or installation. A+ all the way
