THEY closed the garage door and when I opened it - it ripped the job they did. I had some emails - first lie was that they said he could not leave a VM. I responded to tell them all unknown calls go straight to VM and they could leave one and I would call back. Well, nobody called - so I called them. The guy I spoke to (never gave me a name) I reiterated to him what I had said on email - they had closed the garage door and I needed someone to come out and fix it. From the jump there was ZERO recognition of their error - instead there was an immediate stern "no, we did NOT close the garage door". I corrected him to say they had indeed closed it. He huffed - and said they could come out and for $150 - but I interjected to say no, I will not pay for something they did. He huffed again had a rude tone - ok'd me and said whatever. I was being shamed (and bullied) for calling to report a problem. While I was absolutely shocked and appalled they would speak to a customer this way - I could also not believe how dismissive and rude he was to me. This immediately shifted how I responded to them when they spoke to me. I told him again - that I never touched the garage door - that I went in through the front door for days but the morning after the job was done - the odor was so strong in the home that I went to open the garage (to get some relief) and it was stuck - it ripped the epoxy. He said, "oh really, you are the ONLY person who lives in the house?" I told him I was - that my brother had been in the hospital for months. He huffed again. I could not talk to him anymore - I was so shocked - I hung up and called the office. I was shaking (I do not like confrontation) and immediately asked to speak to an owner or manager. Well, I got Danny and Danny was equally as dismissive from the moment he picked up the phone. He answered the phone with, "yeah" and while I was stunned - I said this is Amanda but before I could say anything else he said "uh yeah mmm hmmm, we never closed the garage door" and then screamed at me for calling two months after the fact. Fighting the urge to cry - I told him I nearly lost my brother and had been too busy with THAT to deal with THIS. While there was a mild shift to kindness in his tone to my reason - it was short lived when he quickly shifted back to saying they didn't close the door - stopped short of calling me a liar - and insisted I had closed the garage door. What??!! Danny was so aggressive - the other guy was also - and this was an incredibly expensive $2,000 lesson. I no longer love the job they did and give them ZERO stars. They really need to do a better job - how a company could completely miss the mark on customer service they way they did is abhorrent but to shame me for reporting an issue they created? Atrocious. Owning a mistake gives you integrity and you have displayed that each and every one of you have NONE. **Update: After my post here on google - Danny took it upon himself to send an email (unprovoked by me in which he further bullied me by mocking my reaction to their behavior) to tell me to have a better day and that he "hopes my brother is doing better." ~ Just another example of their abhorrent and inexcusable behavior to a customer.
