PROGRESSIVE PAINTING

It was a great pleasure to work with Ken (owner) and Clint (Foreman of our job), and all of the staff. These gentlemen were professional, very nice, and they did a fantastic job with every aspect! We greatly appreciated suggestions by Ken for our stucco repair painting, and fence painting. Ken noticed we really needed our roof recoated (which we knew, but were having trouble getting our "regular" roofer to come out and evaluate the job - apparently they were "too busy" to even stop by). Progressive Painting also makes coating application to roofs. Ken is very current regarding products available and their best use. He informed us of available options along with his professional suggestions without pressure, and he took the extra time to do the roof re-coating, in addition to painting, while they were here. We are extremely happy with the silicone coating application he made to our roof. Repairs were made to stucco along with other prep work, areas were taped off as needed (we have a lot of windows and wood trim) and there was not a speck of paint to speak of where it did not belong. They made sure to clean everything up and return things to their original places. They were prompt, the staff all knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it, and got the job done! It really was a pleasure to have them work on our home, and they did a beautiful job!

l hired Progressive Painting to repair a crack in my dinning/living room ceiling and to paint the ceiling once the repair was complete. We agreed on a price of $1,100.00. The repair patch was extremely visible, along with visible marks from the paint rollers. I complained to the owner, Ken Muhammad. He sent another crew to do the job again. The second repair job was just as bad as the first. They had to come back a third time. During the repairs, they damaged the canopy chandelier. The supervisor of the crew, Ron, told me that Progressive Painting would absolutely pay for the expense to have the canopy repaired or replaced and would advise the owner. The owner came to view the damage. I contacted the chandelier manufacturer in Providence, Rhode Island. The estimated cost was $35.00 for the repair. I told the owner of Progressive Painting and Ron that I would be in New Hampshire and would take the canopy in person to the manufacturer and pick it up after the repair to avoid possible damage during shipment. Both agreed with this. My wife and I were told we would be reimbursed for the expense. Ron came to remove the canopy from the ceiling for us to bring it to the manufacturer. The distance from my hotel in New Hampshire to the chandelier manufacturer in Rhode Island was 190 miles round trip. I made the trip twice, once to drop off the canopy and then returned to pick it up after it was repaired. When I returned home, Ron came to the house to install the canopy. I gave him receipts for the expenses, $35.00 for the canopy repair and $100.00 for gas, total of $135.00. He said he would pass it along to the owner and they would send me a check for $135.00. The owner called me to tell me he would come by the house to reimburse me for my expenses. When he did not show up, I called him and he said he was out of town for the day and would be by tomorrow. He did not show up the next time, either. When I called him again, he said he would put the check in the mail. He never did that. The next time, he said he would drop it off at the house the next day. He did not. We called him numerous times again. He has continuously lied to me and my wife. During the final call to him, he was rude, intimidating, and belligerent. That was in October, 2017. I still have not received the reimbursement and it is the end of February, 2018. This clearly is by Mr. Muhammad, an act of taking advantage of senior citizens and treating people with such disdain.

The came early the morning scheduled with 25 people people and had my house prepped and ready to paint in one day. Everything was covered and cleaned up after. The only negative (if you would even call it one) is that they did not put back the patio furniture correctly. You need to be around when this project is taking place to make sure things are put back properly. I like that the owner came to project and supervised things.

On the plus side, they came in and dealt with our HOA for us and managed to pull of an immediate approval. They started one day after we signed the contract. The paint job looks great and the entire crew was professional. Our one major issue was that they splattered paint on a natural wood covered gate and to "fix" it, they painted it in a dark color. That's not something we wanted nor is it something we can go back and fix now that the paint is on and dried. I also always dislike that they moved all our backyard items and made no effort to leave things as they found them. That's hard labor to fix for one person whereas the crew of 10 could have done that easily for me in about five minutes. Finally, we have s stamped concrete patio and they attempted to powerwash the paint splatters off, which damaged the patio.If they make an effort to fix the gate or pay for the patio damage, I will amend this report.

THIS COMPANY COLD CALLED US WITH A HARD SELL APPROACH AND AN INCREDIBLE PRICE FOR COMPLETELY PAINTING OUR EXTERIOR FASCIA AND EXTENSIVE BLOCK FENCE. THEIR PAINT JOB WAS TERRIBLE. THEIR PREP WORK WAS LACKING AND THE PAINT PEELED WITHIN MONTHS. IT IS A SCAM COMPANY!
