Carmine reviewed all the pool finishes in detail and provided his professional advice upon request. I was given his cell number and was able to reach him after hours. The workmanship was exceptional and completed within the promised time. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in getting their pool refinished.

Carmine was very cordial and went over the various pool surfaces. I chose the Pebble Tech finish and also had the pool tile replaced. Carmine made himself available with his cell number for any questions during the renovation. Everyone that worked on my pool renovation did an excellent job in just a few short weeks. The office staff were friendly and very helpful with submitting payments. Very fast, very efficient. I highly recommend Pool Innovations.

They did a good job of remodeling our 15 y/o plaster pool with pebble sheen. The job was completed when we were out of town, but that was our fault, because we didn’t order our mosaics soon enough. Carmine was great. He responded to calls quick, and did what he said he was going to do. I would recommend them to friends.

Our 20 year old pool needed a complete makeover. I enjoyed watching the obviously talented craftsmen do their thing with care and precision. The finished pool was appointed with tasteful improvements, and actually better than the original. Job well done!

My pool looks beautiful after a very timely renovation. I had a specific date that I needed for completion and Carmine managed to make that happen for me. He also had a prompt response to all of my questions throughout the process.

This company did everything they said they would, but their communication with the customer is terrible. I had a sales guy that came out to sell me on their products and plan. It all sounded great - lifetime warranty on the pebble tech, project done in 2-3 weeks. They kept their word on the time frame, but I never knew during that time when things would be done. I was told a date of a demo and it got pushed back, without telling me. I was told a date of the cool deck and it got pushed back, without telling me. I was constantly calling to find out when it was going to be done. It was so frustrating. The work looks great, but at the end of it I felt like the sales guy convinced me they were on top of everything, but they weren't.

If you are thinking of hiring Pool Innovations for your pool remodel, DON’T! Run far, fast and do not look back!!! Despite stating they want the customer to be happy, the smooth talking sales pitch by Carmine Uvino that was full of promises this company never intended to keep, the complete lack of coordination between crews or communication with the customer, except when the project manager, Steven Schelthoff, literally screamed at us when we raised concerns and finally failing to resolve any of issues after “completion” of the work have prompted this review. What we experienced was far from the way they initially presented themselves and some of the good reviews on line. In the end, all issues raised prior to signing the documents and discussed throughout this process, including our still non-functioning bottom main drain and cool deck that requires aggressive scrubbing to remove any dirt that gets on it because they did not seal it, have been met with excuses and refusal to address, except to say that they would be happy to seal the cool deck for the additional cost of $1.00/SF. They have not even entertained fixing the pits in the Pebble Tec, nor have the removed all of the construction debris that remains in our front and back yards. They clearly just want your money and will say anything needed to get it and leave you to find another pool remodel company to finish the job properly. Save yourself the time, frustration and added expense and just go elsewhere to begin with for your project. I would have given a negative review for customer service, but it was not available. They need a category on this review site for communication. If they had one, Pool Innovations would get a -50 review in that category.

Communication is their biggest problem. The resurfacing crews did a great job. Good work. Cleaned up after their shifts. Very neat. Knowing if/when crews were going to be there, not so much. We ordered and payed for a dedicated vacuum line. Hasn’t worked since installation. Numerous calls/emails to the company. Never got a decisive date, time, or confirmation if anyone ever showed up. Vacuum still doesn’t work. Worked before their job, not since. And nobody there seems to care. Don’t give them your final payment until you know everything is done properly.

Pro's: Carmine sat down explained what would be done. Only one to give credit for draining pool, Gave quote before he left. Tile crew did excellent job cleaning tile. Con's: Was told they do not use subcontractors, one or two were. Workers shown no concern for owner's property ,broke tile, smashed deck drain. Other than one email about start of project no communication on other aspects of job. Plaster seems lumpy in deep end. No start up chemical supplied.

Renovation was started on time, finished on time, and workers were professional. Results were as I had hoped. The only issue I had is that there communication could have been better. Was never sure when they would show up for the next step, would likely have this issue with any contractor, though

Pool looks amazing. Patrick was very patient with ALL my questions as the project went through the stages of completion. The workers kept me informed of what the next steps were. I'm glad I chose this company to complete my project and would highly recommend them.

Patrick was great! He was available to answer all my questions, even during the project. The team cleaned up after themselves daily and completed the project to my satisfaction. My pool looks AMAZING!

They did an excellent job with the pool and deck. One small issue with them washing stuff out on the curb, which I had to clean up the next day. I mentioned it to them so they are aware for the next customer.

Started quickly then had death in family. Small delay which was not a problem. I was not in a hurry. Once back at work, finished pool in less than a week.

Carmine from Pool Innovations was very knowledgeable and personal. He provided a very competitive price and laid out a time frame of when work would start and finish. They stayed on track and were finished before other companies could start the project. The guys that installed the pebble tec were artists. The pool turned out perfect and looks like new. No other pool company came close to the warrantee that Pool Innovations gave us. Other companies plan was to redo the pool again in 10-12 yrs while Pool Innovations was a lifetime warrantee. I'm a person that's really skeptical of hiring contractors as it's hard to know who to trust. Take it from us, Pool Innovations is a company you can TRUST. I wouldn't think twice if I were you about hiring these guys. I can go on and on bragging about Pool Innovations but you can find out for yourself. Hire these guys today!!!

While expensive, this company was very responsive, completed their work ahead of schedule and provided magnificent project clean up. Their staff were polite, courteous, friendly, and advised as to how to best preserve their completed work which I utilized to insure their work was lasting. Thank you for your valuable expertise and professionalism.

Found them on home advisor. Carmine was up front, thorough, and honest. The work was performed exactly as promised. The crew was professional and completed all work in the time frames proposed. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Carmine was fabulous. No hard sell and took the time to go over everything in detail. I hired this company based on his enthusiasm. He knows what looks good. Always responded if I had a question.
